Faye I am jealous. Just finished moving all my brugs in for the winter. Only had 2 blooms the whole season. Thing is since I dug them up and put them in pots they look a lot better. Guess they will stay in the pots next year.

Long day. I am done in. :0)

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

gorgeous display Faye. I am jealous too. Mine are just now starting to bud, and I have been moving them in slowly. Son came by today after work and moved a whole lot of stuff around for me and got my plant areas more organised and shelves set up. Came home from work, went to work cleaning house and then took a break to go out and take a few pics.
new Datura.. I love it.

Debra, those are so pretty! Love the datura colors!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

omg those brugs are wonderful! Mine are all in and need water, watering indoors is such a pain. We got really cold last night and windy this morning, I got some halloween fuzzy socks so I am all ready...rofl.

Debra I love that combination of plants together that is beautiful!

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Man Debra you are killing me with those dats. I planted some double yellow and lavender and only the yellow bloomed and it only had 2 flowers. Not sure what I did wrong. Come to think of it though all my dats did poorly, even the white ones. Gave my Mom some that I had started from the same seed and hers has 25 buds on it right now. Who the heck knows. Been that kind of year.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I dunno Neener, I do know I have them all in pots or containers except the newest dark center one, and that started in a pot and ended up in the empty bean patch where I put up an umbrella. This sumer just got started for me and now it is cooling down, so sad, seems like we were robbed or something, doesn't it? ( of gardening time)
I keep 5 lantanas going all winter, this is one of them..

neener, one of my dats ( triple currant) I over wintered last year, it bloomed twice down there, do you have room for one of each of your plants? I like keeping them going, kinda like brugs.. and hibiscus, and gingers, and;;;;
things.

You have a room full of plants! What is that pretty bloom?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

GoodMorning, That bloom is from a Thunbergia erecta and I didn't spell it right as usual.

here is the link.. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/529/ I adore it. nice thing about my basement, I can get little cuttings, little starts, bring the in for winter, and they get big. Our basement may have cracks in the wall, be ugly, and seem like wasted space in summer, but in winter, it turns into my garden wonderland.

OK, I gotta show you guys the loves of my life, now you do have to remember I am still missing in the pic 3 more loves, one big giant basset one big black lab, and one black cat. Don't they look cozy? rofl. The wire terrier (brown) is shortie, he has the funniest ears, they are like antennas, then there is Bass the bassett hound, and of course DH.

Great picture Happ!!

Debra I already pulled up the dats for the year. They were so awful looking that it wasnt' worth bringing them in. Besides I have no more room for plants this winter.

I have 3 pieces of white butterfly ginger tuber that someone can have if you want. Just let me know. Getting ready to leave on vacation the end of the week, so speak up soonest. :0) Have 2 pots of ginger inside and one of them is going to bloom hopefully. Probably while we are away, but at least my Mom will get to enjoy it since she has never seen one or smelled one.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I *think* i have that Ginger, do you have a leaf shot of it? and please, have a good and safe trip.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh save me some of the purple or Lavender color Pretty please

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

Hi all, I have caught up reading this thread and as I was reading saw so much I wanted. By the time I get to write, don't know who had what! Do know I loved that single bloom that Debra showed and I know I want Lantana seeds or cuttings of any color/colors. And of course as usual, put me down for cuttings or seeds of any and all Daturas and Angel Trumpets.
Debra, the plants you sent are coming alive again.. The dried up Hibiscus has tiny green leaves and most of the other cuttings are doing good too. The vine is "Still dead" lol and doesn't look like it's going to relive.
Who has a convenient list of Brugs that will be cut back and cuttings offered for postage? Pleased consider me when the cutting starts.
Love & Hugs to all
Faye
