Debra, thanks for the name. Glad you Sister has some growing!

Neener, so sorry the deer munched on your flowers!

Susie, love the fall decorations! Did you paint them?

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Neener I think my big old black lab must of been sleeping cause it looks to me like the deer have been munching at my house also. Had some tropical hibiscus lined up ready to go in the garden room and the tops are cut off straight across, just like my roses! I didn't do it.......

Susie love the door, I put up my decorations today, I don't have alot but years ago I painted up a few things. Getting more into halloween again, glad I am in the swap this year. Last year I was in a swap and I am so bad I don't remember who sent me this but it is the cutest welcome sign, little ghost are hanging from a vine with their black eyes and mouth and a letter painted on each one that spells out Welcome. I hang it from the fireplace.

Played in the garden room alot today, dragging plants out of the pond to get ready for winter. I have so much stuff that is just going to have to be overwintered again......dang. No NEW plants next year until all of these are planted....rofl. You all believe that right?

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

happ your only as bad as the rest of us WITH THE SAME PROBLEM :)

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda and thanks for the links given on the other forum.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Any time!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

I didn't get anything done in the gardens yesterday or the plants, threw some water on a few things but that was it. I froze a few quarts of apples for apple pie later this winter. A friend loaned me her apple peeler, it is quite the deal. Peels, cores, does the whole thing.

Been looking at buying some allium bulbs, wish they weren't so darn expensive. I was reading up on them and the other problem says they are pretty short lived, that they start decline after about 3 years. Those are alot of money for something that declines so quickly. Easier for me to justify peonies and things that last decades.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

Evening all well i findly got a day out of here to go shop. Went to J C Penny's Sale today I Got over $200. worth of clothes & Shoes for a TOTAL Of $76. Unreal

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

deejay you are such a sweetie, I don't think alliums multiply like most bulbs, I have had some for quite awhile and I don't see them multiplying at all. That is why I am thinking of getting more, but thinking about it I am not sure it makes good sense. So I am torn. Wow you made out like a bandit at Pennys...wowzer! Good deal. That is almost as good as a good plant sale...rofl.

I haven't had time to do anything with flowers, I am barely just barely getting home before dark. I am so going to hate it when the time changes....yuck! I better get some plant time quicky or I am going to get grouchy! rofl.

editted to say Debra those are beautiful blooms! That is a beautiful row of blooms and thank you so much for the bouquet! ;)

Awe Susie, they are so cute!

What kind of pie are we having for dinner?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Just a few pretties to show off. I need to ask if anyone knows what this one is? It is so small, only about 1/2 inch.

I thought it was a cardinal climber at first, but it is orange, not red, and the leaves are different!
