Thanks Debi.
And thanks to you all for the kind words and prayers. It seems "A.J." passed away in his sleep at the age of 21. Unreal.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

That's terrible Celeste, too young

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

That happened to my former pastor's son, died in his sleep at 18 or 19(something like that)...brain aneurysm

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

How awful.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Oh, Celeste, lots of hugs being sent north. What a heartache for everyone.

Does anyone get the Sunday NY Times? A friend tore out the Frugal Traveler column for me....the large top photo ( with the metal giraffes) is the Airedale Rescue where I got Robin....

sleep aphnea is also a killer. I have a case & have been told to watch it but refuse to wear a mask tied to a machine. but I am in my 70s not in my 20s with my life ahead of me. Sorry to hear about it.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yes Lucy, that was my first thought. I'm sure his parents will have an autopsy done.
My niece knew what a bad day/weekend i've been having so she sent me some pictures to cheer me up. It worked. :)
This is her daughter, my Great-niece Kaedyn on her 1st birthday. This is the shot before the cake....isn't she sweet? Wait till you see the next picture, you'll wonder if it's her evil twin!! LOL

Pulled the trigger on a new Dell notebook. Very nice. Got 18 mos of no-interest payment. 1 TB hard drive, 8 GB memory, 3 GB Nvidia graphics card, 17 inch HD monitor, wireless adapter to stream to tv, and more. Looks nice.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Getting a brake job tomorrow. Also attending Grandparents' Day for the kindergartener. A note was sent home to bring a snack for you and your grandchild. What? It lasts a half hour. It should be interesting!

Anyone have progressive lenses? Just switched to them a couple of weeks ago and hate them! Making me dizzy, still. I find the 'window' to focus close to be way too small.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

It's what I have, love them. But then again, i've never had anything before them LOL

Jan, have fun tomorrow!!

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Victor, you will get used to those lenses. I've had them for about 12 years.

After 10/25 and 11/8 I won't need glasses anymore except for reading. I'm having cataract surgery and having lenses implanted. I've worn glasses for over 46 years - since I was 8 years old - and I'm looking forward to seeing better again and without glasses. Right now everything is kind of cloudy.
