Should I be pulling all the eggplants off the plants or will I get some more growth as long as there isn't a freeze? Opened two more watermelons - one over ripe and one under ripe. :(

I would think the eggplants should be picked......Horrible story, Allison.....not safe walking around any more.....

Got a brand new, never used Coleman propane stove at a neighbor's yard sale for $3. Double burner. For the amount of camping we do, that's great. I never got the hang of the lighting the liquid fuel ones and always felt very unsafe.

Well, Maggie and mommy are on their way to Alaska and our oldest son and his wife are now in Japan to attend a wedding.

Saw a video of our almost 6mo old granddaughter practicing sitting up. She kinda clapped for herself when she was done. Sometimes I just love technology!!!

Robin, our oldest son lived in Japan for 2 years. They formed many close relationships and the bride is the daughter of one of those close ties. Definitely a long way to go for a wedding.
The other DIL is having a little reunion with her sisters. Also a long way to go for that, but her ticket was paid for, so she went.

Another DIL called a little while ago and asked if I would come back down to help her with the new baby tomorrow. DS goes back to work on Monday, so of course I said DEFINITELY!! Woohoo-lots of little baby cuddles coming my way.

Latest video of the. 6 mo old was of her playing the piano for her first recital. LOL. It was a piece she wrote herself. Too cute! I love my family!

I think that I got the flu from my flu shot. :(

The last few times I got a flu shot I got terrible cases of flu. No more flu shot for me.

I am pretty sure I have bronchitis now. Been extra achy with lots of head and chest congestion for over a week. Really feel it in my chest and feel awful. Taking OTC meds. Looks like a visit to my doctor early this week. Uggh.

I only did the shot because my Boss has been through Chemo and T-cell therapy and when he comes back to work He can't be around anyone sick.

Jan, sounds like you will be having fun with the baby! Memory, I get the flu shot every year, & every year my nose runs like a faucet....but I've never gotten really sick from it.....Dave, hope you'll feel better soon as well......

Have a freind that is a nurse. Her and her mother got the flu shot. She got sicker then a mad cow and her mom didnt. There was 2 different batches, and one was noted to get people sicker.

I get the flu shot all the time and never had a problem. Wife and kids too.

I'm feeling a lot better now. I even worked in the yard for awhile. I was wondering if I had lost my saffron crocus with all the rain but when I cut back the over grown sage - there they were!

Probably just temporary side effect. You cannot get the flu from the shot. They use the killed virus and that cannot give you the flu.

Me too victor. The nasal spray is more dangerous than the injecction. The injection is a killed virus so there is now way for it to inspect you.
