good to hear victor
Coffee Break #66
Allison - so sorry to hear that about Dave67's wife. Will be sure to say some prayers for them all.
thanks Louise.. they have been on my mind all day
Thanks, Bill.
Did she have surgery yet, Allison?
I think he has been too busy to answer my message... but I don't think so
Great news, Victor! Hoping the same for Dave's wife.....
Great news, again, Victor. This should be a weekend for celebrating.
Thinking of and praying for Dave67 and wife.
I am an idiot ... it's Lance... not Dave67.. bad week kids sorry
Not an idiot, Allison....anyone can make that mistake. Prayers still coming Lance's way, and I'm sure the prayers for Dave and family weren't in vain! We all need them as often as possible.
No problem, Lance it is.
Great news about your Mom, Victor! Somehow I skipped right past your post until just now. That's such a relief! Nice weekend in order for you and your family!!
Yes!! Thanks, Louise. Thank you Jan, Robin, and Lucy!
You might want to pick up a Power Ball ticket, Victor! :)
Hee hee. Or maybe chip in with Dave67?! ^_^
Must be a week of good news! Congrats Victor!!! YES!!!! Buy a power ball ticket!!!!!!!!
Oryanna's biopsies (sp) all came back as normal, thats good news. Bad news is they still don't know what is causing the belly aches and blood.
Still good to hear, Celeste, that those tests are good.
I have no idea how I made that mistake... off my game for sure
Don't feel bad, Allison. You would not believe how much I messed up in the past week.
at least you have a reason
:)
Poor little girl. I hope she is better.
I hope that Oryanna just has a virus....it's a relief that the tests were negative! HayHay went through that last fall, just as she started kindergarten.....lost 5 pounds that she didn't have to lose....all tests were negative, so diagnosis was virus.....
Ok, changing name to Lance.
Good news Victor and Celeste, but praying they find what's causing it
Started voting, still don't understand how they don't understand the category....ie patio or balcony garden...for pete's sake...it supposed to be a picture of a PATIO or BALCONY garden
Great to hear, Celeste! I am thinking virus too. Let us know how she is doing, please.
Good to hear the news about Oryanna's test, but still praying for the cause.
Sounds like great news for Celeste and Victor's families. Praying for Lance's family.
Having major computer problems. Will not start up - just get a black screen. Have to look for the boot disk. Ugh.
Ugh is right, Victor. Computers are so stupid. I was in IT for over 20 years and we can all blame the programmers.
Got a new laptop about a month ago. It would not work with our printer, so had to get a new one. Ugh. ☺
Yes, it can be very frustrating at times, Dave! This is an HP notebook, less than four years old. Too soon to crap out!
They don't make them to last very long....get you into a new model!
Three years is the average life expectancy for any PC. I have often joke that they stamp an expiration date somewhere inside that is about 3 years from the date of purchase, or the day after the warranty expires. The Gateway desktop I was using made it for about 6 years. It wasn't dead, but life signs were fading. New laptop is an HP Pavilion dv7. Love it.
That is exactly the model I am considering if I have to buy, Dave. Like the big screen. Will go with 1 TB, 8GB memory, blu-ray burner, etc.
Hank and I both have HP Pavilions, and mine has had heavy use for over 5 years without any problems until recently, and I think the problems are related more to our internet provider not liking our networking here. Hank's has the big 17" screen, and he loves it, but it's too heavy for me. I'm loving my iPad, but like you, Dave, our printer is too old to work well with it. I'll deal with that when we get to Fla. with DSL..
Love my 17 inch notebook. So used to it now. Rarely move it so the size is not important. Love my iPad too. Using it now.
size is not important
rarely hear a guy say that
Especially when he means too big is not!
Victor, so good to hear your news!
Celeste my niece's daughter had similar symptoms as Oryanna, and I don't know the name of what she had but it was from animals. She is just over a year old. Her dad helps a friend raise pigs, so they thought maybe she touched his shoes then her mouth? I know that's probably not very helpful, but it took them awhile to find out what it was. Hopefully it is a virus.
Thanks Debi, i needed to hear that. :)
I feel like a broken record w/bad news but i could use prayers for my son and his BF family. Josh is up North on a hunt and I just found out one of his BF died yesterday. I have no way to contact my son to tell him and as soon as he comes out of the woods his cell phone is going to light up with missed calls about his friends death. Josh is going to take this hard, I did...this young man was @ my house 5 days a week. His Grandmother was the love of his life and he stayed with her instead of his Mother when his Mom moved to NJ. They were extremely close, my heart breaks for this Grandmother who has to burry her grandchild child. It just ain't right!! :(
so sorry to hear it... it's not right
very sorry to hear celeste
