I keep telling mine "you have FUR for gosh sakes, that should make you warm enough!" I will let you all know if it ever works.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

I know it doesn't. Mine like the lap best, even in summer.(unless it's 90 and humid)

That would make a nice painting, Jo!

How cute! Romeo has a heating pad with his 'blankie' on it which he lays on.

went to go see Kassia & Diamond yesterday
https://picasaweb.google.com/AllisonNJ71/9911Diamond?authuser=0&feat=directlink

think Diamond was worried we were going to take her away.. she didn't want to leave Kassia's side.. every time I moved she barked at me.. she is so cute though.. and seems so happy with her Momma

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

has a good laugh over the cat vs balloon! Thanks!

Thomaston, CT

Those cat videos were sooo cute! If you like cats & mysteries, there is a series of books written by Rebecca Hale....the series starts with "How To Wash A Cat" ..it's a NY Times bestselling mystery series....Allison, Diamond is a doll...Kassia must love her to pieces!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

she said from the first day.. they both knew they belonged together.. I almost cried

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

She's cutie for sure!

Loved the cat videos! I had to share the Mean Kitty Song video on facebook. That's a good one! And the cat with the balloon was hilarious!

Jo, Diamond is adorable. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Victor, I've seen that dancing dog video before. Had to watch it again. Very talented dog!

I just had to share this video of Denver the guilty dog. Too cute. http://youtu.be/B8ISzf2pryI

Oh, what a riot....I always know the guilty dog....it's the dale , of course! But I can't complain about him today...he's not walking, only putting weight on 3 legs....don't know if it's a sprain, or Lyme back again, but off to the vet's tomorrow :>(

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

Thank all for the funny animal videos! I think a portion of the dancing dog was on CNN. I just love these animal characters and the people who love them. They've brightened an otherwise challenging weekend in our house.

I wonder if I can contrive a doggy sauna skit somehow. Cliffie is basking in the sun and then running into the shade to roll in the dirt there. Makes me think he's actually Finnish.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Marilyn, I hope Rob's will be okay.

Karen

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

Good luck at the vet's tomorrow, Marilyn.

Thomaston, CT

Thanks....I actually ran into my vet & his wife at the fair today...told them I would be seeing them tomorrow!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

best wishes RD

Thomaston, CT

Thanks, Allison....if it's a ligament, I will have to put him down....can't bear the thought right now....

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

really why do you say that??.. I ripped them before.. and they heal up on there own.. and dogs are great on 3 legs if it comes down to it

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hope everything goes well tomorrow

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Best wishes, Robin.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Allison is right, most dogs do well on 3 legs, and ligaments do heal. I hope you won't have to put him down.

My sister in AK accidentally backed her trailer (small one that is towed by a quad) into her American Eskimo female named Mamma, whom she's had a long time. She has 4 fractures in her pelvis, but the vet seems to think it will heal up fine as long as she stays quiet for a few weeks. She feels awful about having done that, even though it was an accident. Poor Mamma.

Oh man how terrible!! Hope she heals quickly

Thomaston, CT

Robs is a large dog, & he's 9...he's having lots of trouble on 3 legs.....my female Jazz had a torn ligament, had to have it operated on, and she only lasted 6 months after that....well, I'll just have to wait & see...hopefully it's the Lyme back again....

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Good luck Robin :(

South Hamilton, MA

Best to both of you!

Thomaston, CT

Latest update on Robs.....he was admitted to the doggy hospital....his leg is very swollen...Dr. couldn't feel a break, but said it may be a hairline fracture....I could have brought him in tomorrow morning for the xray, but he's in too much pain, so I left him there....sniff! I won't know anything until tomorrow at 11.....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hoping for the best!

Thomaston, CT

Thank you, Victor...he's such a pest, but I love him anyway!

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

I'll be thinking of you and Robs at 11 tomorrow. That's when I'm walking into a meeting at my kid's high school.
