Garden Photos # 17
Great pictures of you beautiful gardens, DonnieBrook!
Nice Dave!
Jo that iris is lovely!!
Your gardens look great Louise, love, love that Gentian!!!
nice Louise!!.. we went to HD before and all the mona lavenders were looking like they survived the hurricane.. no good.. all broken up and floppy.. even though they were loaded with blooms.. I walked away .. was amazed they were still selling annuals.. 4 o'clocks and that everlasting that looks like a pink fox tail... even at a dollar fifty.. what's the point???
Thanks, Dave, Celeste and Allison! Celeste, that gentian is my favorite plant. Hank "rescued" it years ago from deep in the woods. The moose had eaten almost all of the plants in the patch. The shade of blue is startling.
Oh Man, Allison. That's not good! We went to dinner at new friends in town last night. OMG! Their gardens were unbelievable. Next year I am doing nasturtiums for sure. I also loved her Andromeda. I think she had about 12 different varieties, but I don't think I can do them here. We don't have any spots for tall shrubs that are poison to dogs. lol
Louise the gadens are great.Gentian is on my wish list
Very pretty! Love the Blue Gentian! Joann Twiggi is very nice!
I would love a reblooming iris! What a wonderful color, Jo! Louise, can't believe the gentian is a rescue....looks awesome.......
I've tried loading pictures a few times in the past week and DG isn't cooperating. Here is a link to my Picasa web album https://picasaweb.google.com/FlutterbugGarden/SeptemberGarden2011?authuser=0&feat=directlink I just updated it all the way up to yesterday. : )

75º, humid, the rain is supposed to show up around 1 am and stick around for a day or two.
It rained all afternoon yesterday and forcasts look like it wont be clear for the next 4 days.
I'm glad because I have digging to do in these clay beds.
