Lovely photos, folks....my gardens are not looking very spiffy....not much in bloom except for the dahlias.....

Lovely dahlias!! Is the noid 'Firepot'?
lovely RD!!
Could be, Pixie....I bought a bag of mixed varieties.....
A friend and former co-worker of my wife's has a small landscaping business on the side. We contracted her company to clean up our front yard. My wife and I replaced most of the lawn in front with perennials, shrubs, rocks, paths and mulch about 3 years ago but have not been able to do proper maintenance. Our friend got our front year beautiful again and we are thrilled with the curb appeal.
very nice Dave
Yes, very nice Dave! This may sound funny, but I am busy taking OUT gardens to put in grass. I finally decided I couldn't keep up with the weeds!
You're so lucky Dave to have such a good friend.....a new garden is wonderful!
love the iris Jo
