have fun you two!!.. good day for a RU!!
It sure is beautiful here.
I'm going to try to keep up with this thread, I've been so bad lately and can't keep up with anything. Missed seeing everyone's blooms, and all else that occurs on this thread!
Love the color of the HH.
My ROS is very floppy on top, not sure why. Wonder if I can prune it down and the new growth would be stronger? I have a clem growing thru it, not sure if that kept the branches together so they didn't grow as strong?
Wow everythings looking really pretty Celeste! I had some gladiolas from the dollar store that overwintered... I had tried digging them up before winter and missed a few... I ended up digging them up because I didn't like where they were planted... The funny thing was the 'Hardy' ones I ordered didn't overwinter but I wonder if it's partly because I fall planted them..
Thanks Meredith! I seem to have better luck over wintering the annual glads than I do the hardy ones. LOL
Since my DD Tarsha got the tattoo of the lily I put together a album of lilies for her and her firends. Most of who live in Florida and have only seen a few pictures of my lilies but have heard Tarsha talk about them for year.
Here's the album if you'd like to look. I hope this works....

LOVE that dark glad...that butterfly bush was from me??? really? Funny you should say that, I have a volunteer growing in the middle of my garden
Nice Joann! Love all the color in the woodpile garden and the cute kitty completes the shade garden! :)
nice Jo
WOW Jo, LOVE that woodpile garden!!!!
I was watching Gardening By the Yard on HGTV(on line) and there was an episode on annuals, this lady's gardens were packed but just with annuals, very unique annuals not the same petunias, impatiens etc (she had some very unusual impatiens I've never seen before)...they never mentioned how much she spends every year on them, though and she said she doesn't start any from seed
my indulgence is caladiums and annuals.I figure its hobby money since art sales are so slow I havnt bought supplies in a few years.
I too love the WP garden.
It was the best solution for the problem of trafic. Annuals, they disappear before the fireplace season starts.
Jen I resemble that remark
;)
Allison, at least you start a lot of your annuals from seeds though...imagine buying full size plants to fill your ENITRE yard EVERY year
yeah the whole yard would be nuts
OMG entire yard?
Last of the garden shots for this season
