Glad your knee is doing better, Victor....I would be very unhappy if I couldn't do my daily walks! Today I met a jogger at Leadmine Brook Recreation Area (which has a huge sign at the entrance)....he asked me what river was running next to the trail....I was like "UH....Leadmine Brook?" Not a reader, I guess!
Is she boycotting us?!!
Yep DNut officially just on the other site
Jan you back???
I dmailed Weeze awhile ago and didn't hear back either. :(
My neighbor was babysitting her grandson and got to hold him.... I love babies........... love it before they walk and before they can talk back to ya!!!!
Louise is back home from an excellent vacation, well rested and looking forward to downsizing her gardens this September. She came home to a crispy lawn and some fried plants.
Glad your knee is better, Victor. Bing injured is no fun. My shoulder turned out to be a nasty case of tendinitis. Had a shot, doc said give it another day, hope that he is right.

Victor, glad your knee is improving, it's always a mental debate whether or not to go through a "fix it" surgery, and its attendant down time and rehabilitation, to work at getting to a better place.
wha said that D-Nut is now on "Cu..." site.
I miss her razzmatazz use of language.
Me too, she did have a way with words. :)
I got an email a few weeks ago with that mask.. just nuts
Bottom feeders out to make a buck
good news on the knee victor
Yep, Jen, we're home. Crispy lawn and some fried plants here, too. That's why I didn't put in any annuals. Being gone for two months I knew would be tough on the garden.
That mask is creepy!!!!! I couldn't believe the verdict.
Welcome back!!!...you had no one to water for you???
welcome home Jan!!
Doesn't it feel good to sleep in your own bed?
Welcome home.
Yes - welcome home, Jan!
LOL, Pirl....that's what I miss the most on vacation....my own bed!
Me, too!
Other beds are not 'just right'.
We all sound like Goldilocks!
Geeze - a ten year old girl appears in Vogue. Is there no end to this sick stuff?!

Yucko!!!
DIL did take care of the few veggies. I told her not to worry about the rest. LOL. Who knew it would have been so hot and dry? Nothing is eally dead, but silty. We did have some rain yesterday and I have been watering some.
Thanks for the welcome homes. It definitely is nice to be in my own bed. One night we realized we are truly empty nesters and decided it is going to be a lot of FUN!!!
So glad I hired a lawyer to help with mom's estate. All the checks were sent out while I was away. I had made them all out beforehand. He is worth his weight in gold. Now, I'm waiting for an appraiser and his wife to come down this month before I make plans for the rest of it. Everything they had in our house while they lived here was left to me. They collected pitchers. There are also some paintings - one is a self-portrait of Katharine Hepburn and several books autographed by her. She was a very close friend of the woman who owned the farm where I grew up. I'm going to start to try to search the Internet about possible values.
The story would not stay posted. flashed * then went away.
Hmm. Was about a remote control truck that saved soldiers' lives in Afghanistan.
Good to hear everything went smoothly Jan, still sorting out the mess with my mom's estate....sheesh
Re: that 10yr old story...just crazy
and my reply to this quote
"their childhood needs to be spent appropriately preparing for the demands of the adult world."
pppffffftttttt....let a kid be a kid!!!!!! they shouldn'thave to worry about their adult life until they are an adult
"So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries"
Thanks, Jen.
Amen to letting a kid being a kid. Speaking of kids. Our newest granddaughter has been rolling over for a couple of weeks. Saw a video of her on Facebook. It seems early - 3 months old.
The next granddaughter is scheduled to be born Sept 30. DIL has to have C-sections. Guess where I'll be then?
That's wonderful, Jan! Sept 30 is my son's birthday....you have an active little girl rolling over....that photo of the 10 year old was just sick, her parents should be charged with abuse!
Jan, the same family is having another already?
Horrible loss of life in that chopper attack in Afghanistan. Included 20 seals from Team Six, the unit that got UBL. So sad.
Tragic loss of super talented people.
There may be a bit of truth in this...

A lot of truth......
