Did you celebrate too much yesterday that it tired you out...I'm so hoping that you ended up having a sunshine day, surrounded by those you love and that you were treated like a queen!!!

Barb, I took the entire week off so I'll be home...I've been slotting things down and ONLY depending on how you both feel we can do some of my list...I do want to treat you both to the CN Tower for lunch...a must (only if you feel its a must) lol Crissy, you tell Barb all about it..

Know Norm would be interested in seeing the one of a kind lock up from my house "Big Chute Marine"...Martyrs Shrine..keep time for crafts... sooo longer you stay more we can do..

I had a nice day. Hubby fixed a nice meal. The day was really nice until "the child" arrived and then it all went to heck in a handbag. I just have no tolerance for her or her mouth anymore....and no desire to even try with her. I know its sad...but...she needs to move on.

I think I told you I have Brittany and the baby NOW living here. The 3 of them are supposed to get an apartment....it can't happen fast enough or I will end up in the hospital with padded walls.

DH last night saw it...took me by the shoulders and said "Just walk away....she is not going to change...and she is not going to learn until something besides us kicks her in the back side". He is right.

lost my directions for the moving ghosts..drats..soon lunch time so will type them when I get back..

Omg ..Just took a few photo's out of my window..been busy this morning having all new equipment installed, just sat down and I could hear crying and yelling, look down, there was a dad with a few children trying to deal with a temper tantrum..seems the little ride jeep you put a &1.00 in was being occupied by someone else and little one was determined it was her turn....

Nice to watch..have to to back on last post to see if I did infact send some of my morning in a post so I don't repeat myself..LOVE my office...

I'm sorry Debbie that you the 'child' acted up on your birthday!! Lordy couldn't she just mind her p's and q's at least for the evening meal... I bet your dinner was tasty as can be..what kind of cake again? mouth watering as I know how he's a pro when it comes to baking...

Will it be difficult to find an apartment..wow, I'd be putting out a large print add asking for what's available in the area..quicker out of your hair...

Apartments are pretty "open" around, they want to be in the next town over near work. Have to keep an eye on area there. These two (britt & the child) are so opposite...one very quiet (except yelling at me) and the other very wild child (britt)...so this should be interesting.

Betty, "the child" has no self control when it comes ot her mouth what so ever. AND if she has an audience (older sister & Friend) she just goes and goes. She will realize one day too late...the bridges she has burned.

Cake was devils food with milk choc. frosting. I am not much into cake lately...so picked one that was his and kids favorites.

The kids weren't hers, Betty. She's about 24 Bob said.
Bob decided to be nice and agree not to go through insurance. Yes, her aunt has insurance, but her premiums would go up.......
No one was hurt apparently, and the damage to her aunt's vehicle has been fixed. It would be nice if the auto body shops had given Bob quicker estimates....... Mind you, the damage to her aunt's vehicle was more - broken light, etc. Bob's was just panel damage.

Sometimes Debbie, roomates do better when they are opposites..does she make a good friend?? is she mouthy with friends or just when she's at home. I would imagine Britt knows her well, knows her ups/downs and wouldn't move in an apt. as co-tenants IF she didn't think she could handle it..perhaps it's a matter of being destitute.

How kind of Bob..as long as you don't end up with short end of the stick...

Not sure why but am as dizzy as can be (more than normal)..went to go downstairs and the entire mall started to turn..had a drink, western sandwhich which was delicious and came back..just staying quiet right now in hopes it pases me by..

Ok I bought a President Hibiscus yesterday and put it in a bigger pot and this beautiful bloom was waiting for me this morning.

And meet the newest member of the family.......Carrots.
My daughter wanted one after son got one for his b-day so we
picked him up today. He is 8 wks old.

I try to take something to sew when we go camping.
Still doing yo-yos need about 400 for a project I am working on.
I have a quilt on the frame I am hand stitching right now.
And trying to sew a rag quilt. I am slow when the kids are around.

Just got home, laying down, dizzy when I move..was in a/c all day, a/c in car and now a/c at home so shouldn't be the heat! A nice glass of lemonade might do the trick! Fine as long as I don't move..quiet evening, Ann is away so not even sure I'll play tv bingo

Oh Laura I absolutely love. Carrots..what kind of bunny, almost said what make lol. She must have been thrilled to get carrots. Beautiful hibiscus, what a vibrant red..no wonder your back is sore Laura, you never stop..what size of quilt is on the frame? Made all those rag quilts last year, enjoyed doing them but this year I've no one to make them for.

Oh Betty...yes you do, if you get bored you can always make a rag quilt for me. I just love cuddling in soft quilts/blankets. It is not so much a cold thing...but a comfort thing with me.

Can you drink just water? Another thing, your ears / sinus? Feel ok....those are known to cause diziness if infection brewing.

Rest, and elevate your feet.

Laura - there's an Amish market we try to stop by in Pensacola FL... has Amish Butter which is delicious ! I'm thinking a Bale of Hay for starts... (and I'm the non-creative one) LOL.... Love the hibby... our hibby president is all about keeping the garden varieties going because if not... they will become extinct.... Carrots is precious love the floppy ears....
Bev - Pretty pretty flowers... still planning to plant the pickle one next year. I've about decided the yard is done for the year. Too hot to plant anything and don't want to subject anything to the winter right after planting. Taking cuttings may be the only thing from here to next spring.

She is the one who planned for family to go to Natchitoches to see the play at her college weekend after next. I learned it was the "B&B Capital of Louisiana" so I've been busy looking for a place to stay. The Antebellum thing gave away to finding places on a river.... so here's what I've come up with... it's VERY AFFORDABLE believe it or not and only 8 minutes from the college....

No, just figure we're being fellow human beings! It's the body shop that's taking so long, so hope to get this settled soon..... Bob will be without his vehicle for 4 days, and hope to get a comparable one. Apparently the rental is a courtesy that the body shop gives when they take your vehicle for repair.
Bob's also checking with another body shop to get a good price for them - again, just being good humans!

The amish market has the bestest jams in the world and not to badly priced.
We get honey there also.
Do not know if all know this but if you eat honey that is local it is supposed to help build immune system for seasonal allergies.
Coffee is on and cutting melon to eat.

Morning, thought we must have had rain last night but didn't, everything is just so wet, guess it's the humidity..

Moving around a little slower than normal, not as bad as last night but still a bit woozy.

Jeff called me to talk about his trip..says it's beautiful weather and they are making great headway but having to make adjustments because of the old lock system which takes an hour to rise to next level...when you have several to get through each day those hours put you behind in end of reaching Ottawa, our Capital...both taking it in stride..today is a play day for them..was nice to hear from them and not just read the blog

Betty, please call the Dr, or go to the ER! Make sure your taking your meds, but please go and get checked out. Maybe your meds are not enough for you? You said the other day, your ear was bothering you, maybe you have an inner ear infection, and that will make you dizzy.

Meant to ask, downstairs computer that I use for work has across it's screen, no video input..have tried a lot I.e. Plugs but no go...any ideas on what to check?

Betty, listen to Linda Kay.....and the rest of us. Go get checked. My neighbor Kim, who is a year younger than me was feeling the same way and a bit nauseas. Turns out she had a slight heart attack. She finally passed out on the bathroom floor for 3 hours as it was night time and her daughter ...who is only 9...was sleeping. Woke in the morning and called 911. Spent 3 days in hospital. SOOOO GO get checked!!!!

Hot as anything here. They said 101 heat index today and tomorrow.

Izzy and I are off to the groomers at Noon. Both are so excited. Maybe they can give me a trim too!!

Ok, going to go find GREGS number so I can call him and tell him his MOTHER is not feeling well and NEEDS the doctors NOW.

did call my doctor, he's on holidays until next Monday..and I'm NOT sitting in emergency with 100 people due to heat stroke etc.

A bit better this morning..started to think, self, what did you do different..well you all know I've been having problems with eyesight/glasses etc. well yesterday I was reading something when SIL Wilena (boss's wife) was in and I said, omg got the $$$ store glasses on, went to my purse and got the ones from from vision care and that's when my problem started!!!!

So I'll put $$$ store glasses back on and see if I improve

Ohhh Izzy will feel so much cooler, perhaps 40 lbs. lighter..wouldn't it be neat if we could do same..

We're all in this heat bubble that won't pop! I think my heat index is supposed to be 109 today.

The last person I knew who was dizzy was having a brain aneurism and because she didn't go to the doctor she died in her sleep while taking a nap to try to get rid of the dizziness. GO TO THE DOCTOR BETTY!!!!

Betty, when doctors go on Holiday...they HAVE to leave a doctor to cover their patients for them. Call back...and find out WHO it is...and call.

Stubborn individual I tell you....listen to her preach at us about taking care, but will she follow her OWN advice...noooooo...she won't. Dang fool is going to pass out in the middle of the mall....I tell you or a garden shop. Or worse...while driving. Some people...gonna make me call her son...or her mother. Maybe her mother should move in and look after her if she isn't going to look after herself......oh my word....
