Al, the heat index yesterday was 116 here. They showed a reading before the baseball game last night the temperature on the field was 120 degrees. But, I don't think their gauge could go above 120.
I have a ton of work to do in the garden but I'm not going out in that heat. I did leave an ice cold bottle of Gatorade for the mailman. Do you think he will dare to leave any bills today ?

Hi Ya'all
It's actually been COOL for a change!
We're entertaining GD Livy and daughter Becky for the week while SIL Jason is doing extensive work on their house in Manchester. He has been knocking out old plaster walls and rebuilding, so it's real messy right now. We're having lots of fun with picnics and kite flying galore. Weather has been beautiful here.
Al
Very Good!!!
Weather is expected to be beautiful here too for the next week or so. Al, I have some pics to share with you that I should have sent you a couple months ago. I just loved your Marigolds. Beautiful size and height and sustained much longer than the ordinary dwarf variety.
Hope everyone is doing well and happy gardening this weekend!
Mechelle
