Sports Talk!! Part 7

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Giants 30, Pats 27 Hoping the Giants win, but if they don't it will be a great set up for a rubber match.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Jersey girl talkin'!!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

and proud of it _^_

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

obviously forgot how to make the smiley face!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee! ^_^

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

SI has Gents 27 Pats 20

i hoping for a tie

Thomaston, CT

Have to go with the Giants.....

South Hamilton, MA

I will be glad when the SB is on & the hype over.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - they should not have the 2 week gap. It's ridiculous.

South Hamilton, MA

A 2 week gap heals injuries, however. & it is such a nationwide viewed game, all should be at their best.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Injuries are part of the game. They deal with them all the way to get to this point.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Apparently, Madonna will be playing through an injury at halftime!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

lucy i think the hype is worse here and in NY, maybe Indy - for obvious reason's - outside of that it is not a big deal - could not believe the attention madonna got with her gronk comments and how "she has never worked to hard" before for a show?? it is four songs........

Sacramento, CA(Zone 9a)

Madonna loathes hydrangeas so I'm boycotting the half time show this year to support one of my favorite plants. I'll be rooting for the Patriots but I think the Giants are going to bring more pressure than the NE O-Line can handle. I think the Giants will easily cover the 3-point spread and win 34-20.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That will be the key - how much pressure the Giant D line can put on Brady.

Sacramento, CA(Zone 9a)

I think the Giants peaked at the right time this season and the Patriots have struggled against really good teams this year. It doesn't help that Gronk has the high ankle sprain.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I agree, but my gut is usually better than my brain and the gut says Pats.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - Pats have to feel real good going in with a lead after being dominated.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Exciting ending. Incredible sideline throw and catch.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I should of bet on the game...I told Brian Giants would win but it would be within 5 points. Next time he's going to make me bet against his brother...a BIG Pats fan. :)

South Hamilton, MA

What is it about playing the Giants which makes you drop the ball? A couple catches instead of drops in that last Pats drive would have made a difference. The Packers did the same thing.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Very true.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

YAY Giants!!!!

Thomaston, CT

I was happy to see the Giants win, but also glad Hernandez did well as he lives just down the road apiece....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Tell him to remove a few tattoos - will speed him up a bit.

Thomaston, CT

Amazing, isn't it, that someone would want to do that? He did lose his Dad though, as a teen....may be part of it....his brother played for UCONN, Aaron orally committed, then scooted off to FL...guess he made a better choice....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - this is hard to believe!

'Wild stat from ESPN research: In last 75 North Carolina-Duke games, the score is Duke 5,858, UNC 5,857.'

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

wow, talk about evenly matched

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'll start a new thread.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

LINsanity has taken over NYC! Saw tonight's game and he looked like the real deal. Saw the previous two as well, and he has improved with each one. Surely he will slow down as he draws more attention from the other teams, but he has the skills.

Thomaston, CT

Liked him when he played in college......

South Hamilton, MA

It's amazing who some players don't get a good look & do well someplace else.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I will start a new thread tomorrow when I am on the computer.

The Army-Navy games were fun. Women lost to Navy but men won in double OT. Exciting game, though with Navy having only three wins coming in, it should not have been that close.

Thomaston, CT

Whoa.....love OT games....but then, of course, I can't sleep!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Duh - I already did a new thread!
