today is a day I was happy to live where I do.. it was hot in the sun.. we put the tents up in the yard.. was just perfect to hang outside today.. and later on a breeze kicked up.. it's 63 out there now.. just perfect .. Randy's step dad said it was too bad for work tomorrow.. he would have loved to just hang out up here and kick back a few

South Hamilton, MA

We were quite happy with our breeze which made weeding more comfortable, Removed quite a bit of the grass which send out runners & new grass appears in a series of places. some broke off instead of coming up, but much was removed. Very sore right shoulder however.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's what's nice about the northeast in general. We get our nasty spells, but then we get days like this.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

take em.. when we can get em.. and enjoy every second of it!!... I will admit I was cooking along with the grill though.. but as soon as I stepped away all good again

Mid-Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5b)

It was beautiful (if a bit warm) here Sunday. We had dinner at a restaurant near the river, outside on the deck. Sunny but nice. There was a light breeze. Mowed the lawn in the morning. Right now it's 53 degrees and clear. The sun's coming and it's supposed to be another pleasant day.

We need some rain, the ground is rock hard.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nice day here too. 79, with 40% H. Hot in the sun. Solstice tomorrow!

Just pulled out my back! Was lifting one end of the new trough planter to shim it up. The patio is graded and since this planter has a reservoir, I wanted it level. Did one with no problem. As I lifter the other one, I immediately felt a jolt. Hurting like he** right now. Icing it.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

hope the back pain passed quickly with no lingering afftects!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Feel better soon Victor, I twisted my back golfing this morning, but only momentary pain.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Hope you don't have to adjust them again!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No more adjustments!

South Hamilton, MA

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Ugh, feel better soon. My neck is still bothering me, think I'll be going for a massage this week

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. Been lying in the zero gravity chair. It helps, but when I get up - ouch!! Might have to hit the leftover vicodin soon

Thomaston, CT

Ouch! Sorry to hear that, Victor. Yes, Jen, the nursery school had a ceremony..kids sang songs & recited poems, then ate some goodies....I have photos from Garret's nursery school graduation....seems like just a few years ago! He's on the left....our neighbor is next to him.....

Another gorgeous outside play day here! 78 degrees now and low humidity. I just can't get enough of this great weather! Warm enough for the garters to come out though. I must have had one in my subconscious last night. Had a horrible nightmare about a huge snake jumping of me, binding my arms to my side and staring me in the face with his huge cobra-like face before biting me. I knew I'd had it.....couldn't move and felt the numbness spreading. Horrible!!! And just after I had decided that I really don't mind the little guys up here, as opposed to the scary things in Florida. Then, of course, went out to spray some copper fungicide in the Friendship garden, and Sammy shot out of the oregano and headed for the hills. Great! :(

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh my goodness.. might call for a drink after that

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

or maybe a few! I did have need of a Tums in the early hours of the morning. lol

South Hamilton, MA

& what did you have for dinner?

Mid-Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5b)

Ya gotta watch that lifting stuff. Hope it's just temporary.

We had another gorgeous day. It's 71 right now, but no breeze. Tomorrow's supposed to be warmer and more humid. Two more days with kids. Tomorrow is 5th Grade Recognition, ceremony in the am and they all leave for the rest of the day. Going to go order the trees for the playground. Hope the thunderstorms wait until the ceremony is over.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

How cute with their blazers and ties

Nice day, finished off the pathway and stepping stones, will take pics tomorrow
High was 81°

Mid-Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5b)

It's 58 degrees. Accuweather says more than an inch of rain on the way. At least it's supposed to be in the afternoon so 5th Graders get graduated and trees get ordered. Maybe, however, school garden won't get weeded again!
