Weather in Your Garden # 9

64 and showers right now.

61 & off & on again rain. Dreary. My certificate of inspection for the garden came yesterday. It was dated May 19. Quickly, quickly with state govermanment. However it is a 2 people inspection staff. Office not efficiant as They sent 2 pages of the same sheet last May. Called the voice main & inspector said that she should of done the mailing herself. May be, but she ought to have someone in the office to do it correctly & not have to do everything.

No more rain. Just dreary and dark.

Not a drop of rain or sunshine all day long. Ideal for gardening. Half done with planting all I bought yesterday.

Very humid, though. Back is feeling better. I'll attempt running on the treadmill on Sunday.

Just back from Manhattan, misty and thickening clouds over the city, much brighter and no precipitation out here, however darkening skies were right on my heels as I returned heading East.

Dangerous storm just south of NYC....here, just very overcast & chilly...not the June I was dreaming about in January...

just a constant mist here all day - got some planting done after running some errands

Had to turn on the water in the vegetable garden since I just put down a new type of shaved hay (Agway) and the bag directs that it be watered to keep it from flying around.

Just finished in the garden for today. Very fine mist coming down now. What a great day!

Ugh, not here...was only in the 50's and raw. Could not get warm, finally broke down and turned the heat on to get the chill out. It may because im sleep deprived and been sick, but this seems to be a very cold start to the summer!!

Yesterday was rainy and grey, just less so than the two days before were. It was also the last day of school for teachers. So, classrooms packed, meetings held, done. Except for me. I have an online class starting and Summer school starts July 5th. Have to make plans for the kids in the gardens. (Also have to continue to build and maintain the garden.) My back rebelled yesterday too.

There are thunderstorms predicted again today. Will this never end?

Thunderstorms woke me @ 4:30...actually the dogs jumping on me, woke me. :(
52 now and very dreary, showers and thunderstorms predicted for today with a high of 64. Def. not a beach day!!

67 and foggy.. finally looks like the sun is going to come out.. going to 81 .. saying we can get more storms or showers today though

Can I say this LOUD enough? If I don't get some sun soon, I will be mossy, just like a sloth!

Seems to be more rain than June of 2009 when we had rain 23 out of 30 days.

Going up to 78° today, under cloudy skies. Possibility of thunderstorms throughout the day. Clouds clearing out overnight, low of 62°.

Patch of rain mid morning. gloomy & 57° wet grass & weeds will make things difficult so waiting for some drying.
