Just in from my solar damage. Was sweating like a pig out there! Great day, though. Wonderful when the breeze blows. Was removing grape vines - what a pita!!

was a beauty today and I wasn't home to be in the garden! Man I hate that!

I went plant shopping & dog walking......no gardening, but I'm still coughing, so I figure I shouldn't bend yet.....perfect day today....

Well, it was perfect...it's now thundering, even though the sun is shining....

What a beautiful day. The 5th graders had their carnival today (rescheduled from yesterday - good call) and it was wonderful. Went to the herb garden and they gave me a ton of seedlings to use in the school gardens so tomorrow is planting until I can't plant anymore. Hope it's as pretty as today.

86° went grocery shopping but came home for an indoor day, even DH who takes heat better than I do. Had forgotten about 'My fair Lady' at the local theater, so got tickets for Sat. afternoon. A theater in the round which is great fun.

That and Camelot were my all time favorite Broadway shows, Lucy. Enjoy it. We saw Oklahoma at a local community theatre in May and it was excellent. That was my first Broadway show when I was 12.

I was back inside by 1 PM. The heat is too much and the brightness kills my eyes.

It's 60 and pouring down rain. Yesterday was in the mid 80s and really humid. Not the worst day and it became breezy later. The Garden Club picnic was a success and we planted most of the seedlings from the Farm Project. I was going to borrow some kids and plant again today, but rain. We needed the rain, but ... The ground should be easier to dig though.

I had a container with a block of coir expanding on the deck.. it was outside the awning.. needless to say it overflowed all over.. yuck.. looked at Randy and said.. well it's wet.. we have been so careful to cover the bins too.. OOPS

Well, it's been pouring here on an off for the last hour. This moment it's drizzle however. We have local flood warnings. Guess my seedlings are getting well watered, but husband's flight home has been delayed 2-1/2 hours.
