It's been such a cool and rainy spring that I'm still waiting for clematises, which normally show up in May, to bloom.
Thanks!
I have a few clems that look wimpy this year.. wonder if my neighbor is spraying her weeds not far from them
Hopefully, she didn't think your clem was a weed!
71°, very slight breeze from the Northeast at 6mph, cloudy/ fog.
On the way to 74, less than 1" of rain here total for the last few days, most of the precipitation has been just slightly North of me - so far. Same muggy possible stormy weather as yesterday but with a higher probability of rain, down to 63° tonight.
still wet here - constant light mist - going up to 68
Wow - now there's a gardener! I would not get up and out that early for anything!
Spitting here. Very foggy. 70, with a gross 98% H.

Unbelievable sale! Nice to be there and not have any rain. Sunshine now but much too humid to work in the sun.
Thought of you, Victor, as I bought my first Viburnum. Also got a 3 gallon Coppertina - both for $10.00 each. All one quart annuals were $2.00 - I'm thrilled.
71 with 90% H. now.
Nice! Which viburnum?
I'll go look.
In the meantime...can you tell me what I can use (if there is anything) to remove the white paint from the painted fence at the nursery that shows up too well on our red car? I scraped it on the way out and Jack hasn't seen it yet!!!
Oooh....wonderful sale! Very cloudy here...have to attend a funeral in South Salem NY today.....my brother's 104 year old MIL passed on Sunday....she was sharp til the end.....
Uh, oh, Pirl.....compound from the auto parts store!
The best antidepressent is buying and planting flowers, I should be a happiest person in Ga. Here it is nice 75, sunny and I already watered my flowers, deadheaded the zinnias and now I am getting in to the goodies, baking walnut yeast roll for the first RU on Saturday. Pirl, do you know if the store Paprika Wise is still in NY City, they sell Hungarian pastries and other stuff.??
so sorry RD.. always good to hear at that age someone is still sharp though
