Bringing over Marion's post:
Yes I do call it the dungeon. I doubt that will ever change as it was an affectionate name we gave it when we bought the house. It was so dark in that area we just sort of fell into the name. Kim has found a sign (which I need to put up) that says" This way to the Dungeon"...perfect.
Did I ever have a great day yesterday!!! After going with Kim to her doctors appointment (got lots of reading done thanks to my Nook) we came by Tallahassee Nurseries. I was looking for some "spiller" plants to finish some containers but instead I found 2 coral bells I have been trying to buy for a couple of years...Quilters Joy. No spillers but oh did I buy the coral bells in a flash!!!!
Going to have my eye rechecked this morning and guess where I will be later this afternoon. Lovein' it.
Have a great day everyone.

Please, please tell Kim that we are so proud of her. Wonderful news indeed and may her diabetes be reversed or stay under control, that she'lll NEVER be insulin dependant.
Marion, you mentioned Quilter's Joy. Is that the name of the Coral Bell? Curious as to how the blooms will be. Patchwork Petals?
Hope all goes well at the doctor's office.
Another expected scorching hot day today.
Sending Cindy the heat, but it looks like it will stalled somewhere enroute :(
Too hot to even have a regular breakfast. Some navel oranges for y'all instead, and juice.
Try to have a good day everyone, and I hope Sue, you'll get customers today.
Thanks Jaye, I will tell Kim. The best news is she was on medication as her kidney functions numbers were high...caught early, under control and meds stopped. I am beaming with joy. She has also passed the half way mark on her Specialist degree on her way to her EdD.
Not sure about the bloom being patch work but the leaves are all different colors. I am really excited about this fine!! Every time I would order Quilter's Joy I would get an email saying out of stock. Funny when you are not looking how you stumble upon things.
Scorcher here today also....on our way to 96+. Cindy sending about 20 degrees your way.....I wish. LOL
Cantaloupe for breakfast here..nice sweet Athens.
Time to get ready for my doc appointment.
Marion, charge your camera and post a picture please?
Morning Sis, love the pretty yellow blooms! It is 80 here right now, but is supposed to be upper 90's.
Today is the official, start of the hurricane season, let's all, pray it will not be as busy as they are predicting!
Beeeutiful Kathy.
LK, I will attempt to get a picture but lately the camera hasn't been working right. I don't know yet if it is messed up with the settings or just time I need to replace it.
When I return from my appointment, I will try.
Ah man come on heat we need you!!! We are getting a huge thunder storm coming in soon. While I was walking around the lake the sky went from a pretty blue to that stormy black color. Man did I ever hurry around the lake. Think I broke my record of 20 min to 15 lol.
Love your flowers!
Waiving hello Sistahs all!!!

Thanks for sharing Sis and Charleen. I want them ALL. Not being greedy, just being a bloom lover :D
Marion, it's time you get a new camera. For 3 years now, you've been having problems with that. The quality brand cameras are getting cheaper, with more pixels.
Yay!!! Soon you'll have a doctor in the house!! Congrats Kim, on your career and your health!! You'll be getting armwraps from us next year!
Break your record, but don't sprain your ankle, Cindy. Maybe you should bring along a foldable umbrella. Harlee in one hand, and a water shield in the other!! :D
My sister loves 'power walking'. One day she decided to up her speed and ended up twisting her ankle. Poor thing had to forego her exercise, doctor's orders, for a month!!
Hope you get the much needed rain.
Sistah Judy, Barb has been so kind as to share pictures! The smiles on your faces say it all ^_^
Must be hard to say goodbye huh?
Jaye!!! we don't want rain!!! We want warm sunshine!!!

Bangladeshi Woman Takes Attacker's Penis To Police
www.myfoxny.com
A 40-year-old Bangladeshi woman cut off a man's penis during an alleged attempted rape and took it to a police station as evidence, police in a remote part of the country said Monday., MyFoxNY.com
another weiner gone wrong
hopefully she used a spoon.
LMAO!! the guy deserved it, dont ya think?
Cindy, that would be a very nice bike tour. Wonder where's the goat :D
Even the camp will be a nice setting for a wedding ;)
Hey, that took guts!!! What would the police do, I wonder. Indian and Arab countries always punish the women and not the rapists.
I would throw that somewhere where it won't be found. No evidence.
No man is gonna go around screaming he lost his penis!!!
ROFLOL, so we have a Loreen Bobbit in other countries also? I think that was the name.
Deserved him right!!!!!
I told Kel about it, he said ALL rapists should be castrated, especially child molestors.
Marion, that is so pretty! Glad you found one after all this time!
Look everyone, Marion got her camera working!
yeah! More shots of your shade garden Marion!
For 3 years Marion!!! Lolol.. refer to the manual when things go wrong, unless you're a male!!!!! Lol!!

This weather is just to freaky scary!!! We had a tornado touch down about 5 miles from us. The sky was so BLACK!!! Then thunder and lightening. Didn't even know it was happening because I was laying on the bed watching a movie and Doug was watching his STUPID!!!!! cartoons. My mom called me on my cell phone asked if we were watching the news. So we turned it on, lol low and behold we are watching the tornado. Now today is is sunny but chilly with a little breeze. Now hoping weather changes for trip to coast grrrrrrr.

Somehow this thread did not lit up for me :(
Heavy duty prayers for strength, Cookie, and for your Dad and Mum, recovery and comfort.
I remember you saying how your Dad wasn't looking too well, and you had thought it might be because of you Mum. Poor man, the stress was just too much for him.
(((((((((((((((((((((((Cookie))))))))))))))))))))))))))
We are all with you in spirit, sistah.
Thanks Sis Kathy.
