South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Victor, funny you say that! DD just callled she has no basement. Said if it got bad she was going to grab Jack(her cat) and click her heels together 3 times!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Our weather station is located in Gray, Maine....thats where Tarsha lives so she knew right off. She said the local pizza shop was abuzz when she went to pick up her lunch!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hopefully no one will get it. Been too much misery already.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Another great thing about cellphones - instant notification and warnings.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Celeste, if it gets bad, tell her to find an interior room. Preferably with out windows.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I agree!
It just said on a news flash that ALL of New Hampshire and the 5 counties in Maine are under watch until 8pm.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I did, told her to go to her downstairs bathroom...not upstairs one. The ds bathroom has the kitchen, livingroom, stairwell and wall to the other complex surrounding it.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

on the lowest level is always best.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Bethel, Rumford, Mexico Maine are all in watch mode now. Hail is a yes, so far no funnel touch down. My brother's house is in Mexico.....G is good, he's gone fishing w/Brian at the moment so he's not home. ^_^

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Confirmed tornado touched down in Jefferson, New Hampshire. Hope our DG friends are OK!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Ugh.

Thomaston, CT

Wonderful day...had to have my internal exam, then I walked the dogs in 85 degree heat, so humid I was dripping, then come home to a tornado watch....became a tornado warning for Springfield, MA......

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Thomaston, CT

I hope so, Bill!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

We got reports of 1 and three-fourths inches of hail falling in Oxford County!

South Hamilton, MA

Don't need a tornado to be tough. I had the new on later this morning & it talked about a cell coming through Newburryport which is north, then extended it to Beverly (SE) in 1/2 hr. So had about 20 minutes in the garden & we hustled into the house, DH helping by carrying my kneeler. Thunder, lightning & some rain. Just gloomy this afternoon, but so humid we didn't do much when we were outside. Very cloudy now.

Oh crud, Boston area got hit by a tornado.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

wow did you guys see the twister in MA over the river... hope all our buddies are ok

and that text warning was from the town police.. but for all north jersey.. hope everyone stays safe tonight

Springfield MA got hit I belive. It was a stinking tornado. They are doing news with it but I dont get it all that great up here in NH.

They say its heading to boston Farminton? Framington?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Very windy here, has done a number on many of my plants, but I'll just remain thankful that that's all it is.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Still nothing here.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

it poured for 15 seconds when I came home btw

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hailing in DC! Hope all the politicians are strolling. ^_^

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

A 60 second rainstorm passed by here 15 min ago, the streets are already dry.

Mid-Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5b)

Wow, I hope everyone's okay. So much activity tonight. There were tornado warnings for northern NY, but only severe thunderstorms with possible hail here and so far, north of me. My temperature has dropped to 85 in the last half hour and we're getting some pretty strong winds, but no rain, thunder or the like.

I remember those contented cows of Brenham and their ice cream. I thought it was pretty good. I also remember 24-hr a day heat. I'm glad I'm up here now, even in the winter.

School was the pits today. Much worse than yesterday as the humidity was higher. By afternoon the kids were too lethargic to do anything. I'm really looking forward to cooler temps.

Nh has had a tornado warning not for 20 mins. Louise and Candyce is in it

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

3 thunderstorms rolled thru here

MA tornado caught on camera...amazing

Nothing here yet...storm seems to be staying just north of me.....our local news showed the damage in Springfield, & Westfield....came through Westfield on Sunday......

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Wha, watch out. Looks like some weather is heading your way. Patti

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Oh no - just read many injuries in MA tornadoes.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)
