Glad you raised the topic of spiders, Pixie & Sherrie....I was bitten by one...I think...on Wed. It's right on the back of my knee...yesterday, the leg was pretty swollen, & I was going to the ER, but I took a Benedryl & slapped on some cortisone cream...looks better this morning. I do have to go to the hospital this afternoon for a test, so if it looks bad again, I'll stop in at the ER.

Well, DH is on his way. Tonight is graduation at his school, then on to Annapolis to our son's place overnight, then on to GA to his brother's, then on to Destin, FL to board his brother's sailboat, then sail in the Gulf for a few days. On the 7th they hopefully will see the Blue Angels practicing. He will stop and see his sister in Mobile,Al before arriving in Texas. whirlwind!
I've loaded some cool APPS for the iPad that will enhance our trip. WIFI finder, maplets of nat'l parks, weather channel. there is one that will show the constellations if you point it at the sky. I hope he finds this as exciting as I do.

My son is in student government so he worked the 7th grade dance tonight. I could not believe the way these 7th grade girls were dressed! Looked more like 10th grade. Parents are pathetic.

It really is and I think it's getting worse. Some of the moms look like they're competing with their daughters.
Saw that today at the supermarket, actually quite common here in ', beach territory', sometimes I cant tell which is the mom and which is the daughter, both on cell phones both waring provocative clothing, both 'shopping' for garbage..
The dumb one paying is mom.
Yes, the finale is the clincher when the daughter steps back from the register and looks as dumb as she is, while the mom pays with the credit card while still on the cell phone... crazy people.
The dumbest one is Dad, who didn't wear a condom.
