Thanks IrisMA and Marilyn, and yes, those IrisMA, those are irises in the background. Those are the best they've looked in years, too.

Happy Birthday puppies!!!!!!
Cannot believe they are a year already!
Adorable photo of when they were tiny puppies. Nice touch putting the dollar bill to provide scale !
thanks!... amazing how time flies right??... we had a frosty paws party last night
Amazing!
I saw a van today - was a mobile pet grooming business! It said 'Because shed happens'! Wonder how much they charge.
I just called one today.. funny.. I see the van all over the place.. and decided to call.. seems the prices are almost the same

We've had a traveling vet for over 10 years. With 4 dogs, a cat, 2 rabbits and a fish it was easier for them to come to me!!
was thinking the same thing... going to ask if they give a group discount.. LOL
Happy b-day puppies!!!!
thanks!!!
Awww! Happy birthday pups!
Karen
they give you all puppy kisses & cuddles.. thank you
Our feed store has a mobile vet van come once a week.....our town has no vet service, but I take mine to a neighboring town.
Lots of mobile groomers round here, no traveling vets that I know of. I did ask my vet to come to my home when it's Dexter's time. He agreed.
I see those mobile groomers all the time
Concord MA area has a traveling cat vet, as cats often don't like to ride in cars.
Thought they only treat traveling cats!
cats don't like to travel in cars??? I thought all that yowling and kitty pleadings were signs of happiness ^_^
I have to yowl and plead sometimes too, but it's not a sign of happiness! ^_^
That's because you are driving with kids.
Was looking for a local place that does dog-walking, as I was thinking of having someone walk Jerry when we're at work. I feel bad for him not getting a walk or any attention for 6 hours a day, 4 days a week. Anyhow, I found this place: http://www.professionalpetservices.com/ Pricey, though, but I liked the idea of the indoor dog park where I could take Jerry to play and socialize with other dogs. I may take him there this weekend.

I can say my guys are not socialized well... when I took all of them to my Mom's for Christmas.. they were just growling at my Dad's two dogs.. and of course they are just looking at them like what what's the hub bub you little flee .. LOL.. Princess just gave em an attitude and walked away.. even going to school didn't help
Well, I found out I need to have my dog temperament tested by them first, so I need to give him a little training before doing that. So won't be going there this weekend. He actually has a good temperament, but he really needs to learn to come when called every time. Sometimes he takes his sweet time, like a typical Basset.

Too many interesting scents to investigate on the way to you?
I'm sure there are!

Sounds like a good idea for Jerry, Karen.....Suey loves everyone, she had fun at the dog park in FL....Robin, oh, well.......
Had a plant sale at my house today with a bunch of people over. Jerry was so good. So friendly to everyone. He was off the leash in the yard all day and stuck right with Dad and me and our customers. He also followed Patches all around the yard looking for critters. I'm amazed at how good he is. Dad took him on 2 long walks today. He is very spoiled, but not so much that we don't teach him boundaries. We sure do love him.

well Hope & Eros are becoming a problem staying in the walled & fenced area.. Eros has jumped out once.. and Hope twice in the last 2 days.. she went off into the woods behind the house and Randy and I had to try and get her back.. was not fun.. Randy has some kind of plan to stop the wall hopping .. I am amazed they can take that 4 foot section in one jump.. and from a stand still.. wish my guys were more like yours now
Oh, not good. Might have to make the fence higher. I can't believe those little guys can jump that high!
Karen
and with ease... Eros went into a big container I have cannas in... and jumped the 5 foot part.. but he listened to me and came.. he was about to jump back in the area... I told him no.. and he sat right down behind my mums.. such a good boy.. Hope on the other hand.. treats and a big bag of peanuts I feed the birds with was not enough to get her back.. I even tried running away from her yelling woo woo where is my Hope .. and she loves that... chasing chipmunks are much more fun that mom acting like a lunatic
You need to practice recall with her on a very long lead
I tried that with my kids but they kept returning. Dang method sucks.
yeah I did that Jen.. still doing it.. but not working so far
Yeah, Victor. We childproofed our house. But they got in anyway :)
Yorkies are agile, Bassetts, not so much....my GSP mix is a jumper, but she doesn't go anywhere.....
well for now Hope got a retractable leash tethered to a stake ... too busy planting today to run to HD.. Randy is going tomorrow... boy was she ticked off at me.. going by the wall crying and carrying on
Funny!! I don't see a cat making this mistake. ^_^
