May Blooms

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Pat, I will need you to ID another that you gave me that is blooming for the first time this year. Last year the sprinkler guys dug all of mine up, and then replanted--WITHOUT the tags, of course. So I only have a very few that I can ID. This one is a beautiful yellow with a gold/orange ridge around the petals. Never seen one like it before. I'll see if I can take a picture tomorrow.

Pattie, along with the photo, I'll need the diameter of the flower and the height of the bloom scape to help ID it. LOL You may have another one that I'll want a restart of someday.

Pat, my camera batteries were dead so I haven't gotten a picture yet. My description was not very accurate. I did find another one in the back that I believe is the same, and it actually still had a tag (yay!) that said Rushing Delight. I know you gave me that one, but I also remember you gave me Butterscotch Ruffles. I'll go take a picture. If you need one, let me know tonight; maybe I can dig one of them and bring it tomorrow.

Thanks, Pattie, but I am not going to ask for any more daylilies until I complete my garden renovation. It's hard on daylilies to live in pots, so they are much better off planted in someone's real garden. It's always wonderful to find the tag still with a plant!

Well, I still don't have a picture of mine, but after looking at the PF, I think Rushing Delight is the one that's blooming so well. Now I will have to find Butterscotch Ruffles in there and get it tagged.
