Continue chatting sistahs. Let's pray for each other too. Prayers are the best gifts from the heart.
Sweet Interruptions 217
Oh wow, I am first and can claim my soft sofa!!
Cindy, just follow your gut feeling, and get to know him more before you commit to anything! Sending prayers your way, and hope they work out for you.
Beautiful dresses! They look so cute!
Marion, I'll join you in the other corner in a nice soft recliner! Now all we need is a nice JD movie!
Welllllllllllll, I think I can provide those BUT I won't share my ticket for the new one!! Yes, you read that correctly. I may be old, but I ain't dead!! LOL
When does it come out?
May 20th, ticket can be ordered (here) for the 12:15 am showing but Kim has to work the next day so we decided not. Besides she has to go to graduation activities the evening of the 19th. We (a group of 6) have tickets for 9 am Saturday, May 21st. Nothing slow about us!! ROFLOL
Lovely DL Thunder! Not one in bloom in our garden, yet.
Kel loves the yellow ones.
I will have to wait till the movie comes on DVD, Marion :((
Never try to miss a JD movie after I saw What's Eating Gilbert Grape. He's such a superb actor.
Charley's been busy!!!!!!!!!!!!! How adorable!!!!!
That's a pretty Clivia, Charleen. I heard that they don't like to be moved.
You sister needs other than cats Marion!! They'll certainly make her days more interesssssssssting!!
Well a friend of ours has put 3 of her Watusi cattle in her pastures. Now talk about something to keep you entertained.
I will have to see if I can locate a picture of them to show you. This is a bird we have been watching trying to see it's head. I will find the picture of what we normally would see.
the pool people installed the new pool yesterday. just got home from the dr. i have poison oak all over me. anyone got a wire brush
Wow!! Maybe a birdwatcher can tell us what it is. I'd love one of those mini's but DH says i got enough mouths to feed...
did the doctor give you any meds to wash it with ??
It looks like a goldenrod finch, I think they're called.
Awww Sis Kathy!!
Tell your daughter to go back to school for meds!!! You've supported enough doctors for now.
A soak in Aveeno bath will help too.
Oh please Maid M.. please NO climbing. Just get you a camera with an ultra powerful zoom lens.
Now I got to go google a Watusi.
The girls look so cute in the dresses, Cindy. Very nice job!
Hope you and Doug can work out the problems. Communication was a lost art in my case or he just wasn't listening. Have to handle a lot of these men with kid gloves. LOL
Jaye, I haven't done any T2T lately, but have a lot of projects I want to do. Busy with my gardening right now. Elaine in Austrailia does so much and I feel ashamed that I'm getting nothing done.
MY first one would talk to every one else, then after we got the divorce he couldn't figure out why I wouldn't talk to him.
The way I figured it was "if he couldn't talk to me before the divorce, why the heck did I need to talk to him afterward"
that's my story and I'm stickin to it.....
Marion, those mini's are so cute!
Well, I got the fluid drained from my knee, and it feels so much better. She told me there is a good chance it may swell again, so I have to wear a knee brace for a few weeks.
jordonkittyjo get some raw honey and smear it all over then a gauze bandage change every day. should work. google it . i did it several times on kids and myself. we get PI a lot in our woods.
crissy no on cream cheese ? .... i don't know what to say ....... i ....i...... i ...?
i just dug up my Nikko blue. don't like blue. wish i could sent em to you all who do like em.
things are going ok with dd...
got thunder warnings tonight.

Go here for lots of home remedies. Honey, vinegar, banana peel...
Returning to 'talk' but it's thunder and lightning out there. So, I'll just adieu till later!!!!
Cindy I'm glad you and Doug talked, that's cool! The girls are so cute!!!
LOL Sue I know what to say! I'm glad to hear that things are going good with your daughter! Hope it continues to go that way!
Ug, poison ivy is horrible!!! I don't seem to be allergic to it but Dave is very allergic to it, he puts Neosporin on it and leaves it alone. LOL
good morning
well things are going ok with dd. But i do see her going into her old ways.
She honestly wants someone to care for her , she just won't do anything for herself. ? She skipped her meds last night and i could tell the difference in her.
IT is like another child in the house i have to babysit and care for ... or she won't do anything ? i don't expect anything from her cuz i know that is only going to drive me crazy. *sigh*
i m still doing her laundry only because its been 4 yrs of her homless and you could imagine what they smell like !! eeeewwwww.
even if i tell her and show her how to do it... she won't ? just out of spite .
need to say we had one halacious storm last night . wow the night sky was lite up and thunder , torrential rain too.
so we are humid and wet but its sunny. the poor farmers they still cant get the seed in the ground.
take care
sue
Afternoon ladies.
It was one eery night last night. Can hear the winds competing with the rain. Didn't stop till about 3 in the morning.
Praying all the time that I won't need to call Kel.
Lord had been watching over us, Sue. Hope it's not going to be a bad year for your local farmers.
When was the last time you've seen your daughter? You're raising a stranger aren't you when she's off her meds, plus her mindset had been shaped from living outside the norm of society.
Sistah, take one step at a time with her. At this point, she sees you as her caregiver and found safe haven. Sorry sistah that she's taking advantage of you... but I hope she'll come around and start assuming responsibilities for herself. Only then will her confidence in herself be reinstated.
LK, I hope you're on the mend!
Barb, when is the surgery? Is it this Friday? I have CRS bad :D
Have a wonderful day everyone.
How old is the girl??? Hope she does better for you.
Hey! glad you made it thru the storms Jaye....
Jaye and Sue, sure hope you had no damage from the storms?
A few water spots here and there. I see potential pond locations!! Lol!!
Hambone wasn't too happy as the holes he dug are filled with water!! He tried slapping them off!!
no damage here. plants survived so that is good
Jaye thanks for the good words of wisdom. i feel the same way. Just taken it one day at a time , no hurry.
She is 20 and will be 21 this august.
boy its a hot one
dd and i were outside pulling weeds and spraying what we could. she is a great help . so far so good.
Sue, keeping her active like that will steer her brain cells away from depression. Poor child needs more mental stimulation than we do.
I hope your yard chickens can keep her amuse too.
Sue just keep working on her, she's still young and can be molded, she needs some counseling I think. That's horrible that she won't do anything herself! Big Big Big HUGS!
LOL!! I love animals, they are hilarious with their own agendas!
Abigail is smart Charleen!!
Crissy, that's what Kel says about the cats. They create their own "scenarios"!
They do Jaye, it's hilarious, especially when they follow through with it!
but she is risking her toes, not to mention neck, I can't even comedown hard with the shovel I'm so afraid of hurting her but she does love her bugs and worms... Thanks....
