Those are good prices. I used to pay over $30 per yard years ago.
Spending spree pt #6
For just natural, Victor?
The dyed ones.
Oh ok, yeah the dyed ones around here run $30-$34
got some today, they are running a tab for us since we know a guy that works there, so hopefully it will be cheaper, natural was $21
Got my delivery from Deer Resistant Plants today. Will open and begin to plant tomorrow.
the place is 20 mins away.. totally worth the drive... and looks like a rock, topsoil, mulch city... massive piles everywhere
Had not ordered from Garden Crossings the past few years. Got an email offering free shipping so I placed an order. Arrived yesterday and planted today. One clem, which I will use as a ground rambler, one Japanese fern, and three astilbes, which look great.
received sensu jm for davidsans yesterday - nice large tree and very full
Nice booty, Jen.
Jen was loaded up for sure!!
Thought I was done buying, but saw a spot that cried out for three hydrangeas, so I ordered them from Rarefind. Called Edgy Orbits.
yeah me too.. but I can blame Celeste on my buys today... went and picked up her 2 red azaleas .. 3 gallon pots 25% off and priced at 18 and change... Randy and I found 2 we couldn't leave with

Nice! One of my new azalea from FW is blooming. Need to get a pic. Has a nice subtle fragrance as well.
really what is the name?.. would love a fragrant one
ThInk it's My Mary, but I'll double-check.
thanks
Lovely, healthy looking plants, Jen....see Allison, you did a favor for a friend & you were rewarded! Victor, will be waiting for photos of those hydrangeas.....Bill.....need to see that new JM!
nice granite! my conifers from them were very nice as well.

I succumbed to the free shipping offer from GC also. A couple Echinaceas - Pink Double Delight and the mini Lilliput; Weigelias - Midnight Wine and My Monet; and Hardy Geraniums - Double Jewel and Rozanne.
hope your PDD is better then my flopper
that is a pretty cool one granite!
Flopper? Does that mean it didn't do well or doesn't hold up the flowers well?
It falls over.
wonderful blooms but won't stand on it's own... even with a support it wants to lay down.. but might be from my lack of full sun
:(
Doubt it - mine get plenty.
wishful thinking from me
Well that's disappointing. I thought where it was a mid-sized one, it might be okay. Have you tried peony rings? That's what I do for my taller Echi's because I really hate floppers.
mine is mid size.. just a sad little plant
I think they would work. I'm too lazy. I just use other plants to hold it up.
oh and yes I did try a ring.. they flopped over the bar
I guess they'll make nice cut flowers! :)
At least they are pretty floppers :)
If they flopped over the bar, higher support is needed. Just plant densely.
