Brugs almost all planted outside

crit,that is a pretty day lily,looks like a verybright yellow.
could it be a stella d oro.i have one but mine has not bloomed yet.but getting ready to.

Thanks rhetta. Yes it is a very very bright yellow! So cheery out along the fence. The ones I planted this spring are making little buds so there will be a lot of color there soon. My easter lilies in another bed have big fat buds on them too. They should bloom soon.

checking in here, been working and mopping up rain waer that came in the basement from a broken gutter.. my office at work is all tore up for remodeling so the work email thing is kind of on hold..

question here---I can't seem to find anyone to dig Brug planting holes for me. what size plastic pot would be good for them? Then there will me no digging up in late fall!

I got mine in Gallon, but if you can get larger ones, that will work. I dig into the soil about 4-5 inches and set them inside so wind won't blow them over. but I will watch them also. I found a poke salad in with one of my brugs and it sure was looking good with all that MG and Donkey poo making it grow. but I got that rascal out!!!!

Crit, Love the little fella, Charley usually paws the ground when I bring him his feed. I tell I"I'm not going to hurry any faster than I am" He just keeps pawing.

Lucky you! I only have 1 brug with a true Y. Hopefully the others will do something now that they are planted in their pots and outside.

Beautiful Babys, both of them. You got plenty of time yet. Just hang in there. Plenty of water and fertilizer and you will be rewarded. I also got a pot of Charley tea. Whew!!!! You sure don't want to drink that. Smells like my Granpaw old outhouse!

Yep, You already know. that's what it is!!!! hehehehehehe! But Darlin the plants love it. I scoop it out in a watercan and fill it with water.

LOL ....... hmmmmmmmmmmmm. so you scoop the fresh into a water can and add water? (fertilizer-just add water. lol) Need more direction. lmbo. have plenty of it lying around myself! Call me dense, but don't want to kill my plants. :-~

lol crit,just scoop some up into an old tub or big bucket and add water,let stand for a few days and use.
here is a peony that bloomed for the first time.

C00L ..... will have to give that a try. With 7 critters, I have plenty available. :-)

Thanks Retta, yes Patti, what she said...☺ When water gets low just add more. If it seems to get getting weak add more poo. Very simple only you'd have your critter tea instead of Charley tea!!! Ain't gardening fun?

Dear, you love them and that is what matters... Debra do you recognize this vine. It has beautiful grape type leaves but I don't think it is a grape and It is really starting to grow. It is with my brugs so you know it is getting watered. I know it will be pretty whatever it is...

Char, it looks like an I. Setosa.. are the stems kinda fuzzy looking? Did I send you some seeds? LOL It sure looks like one..

Yep, the leaves are sort of fuzzy looking and very pretty. climbing up my woven fence with a little encouragement from me. One seed is what came up. Am looking forward to seeing it bloom. Will it come back or has to reseed itself?


Hibiscus Bloom

I am so happy you have that i. setosa, it gets big big big, clusters of light lavender to pink blooms, and is such an awsome vine. Save me some seeds, I gave mine all away the year i grew it on the north fence.

It is growing too. I water it when I water the brugs. It is a pretty vine, love the leaves.. I will save you seeds......((( Debra )))

if you all have been listening to the news about the missouri river.
well i live just 4 miles from there and there is a possibility,that our city will be flooded.
i'm packing my things up that are really important to me,going to place them in storage up on higher ground.
i've been praying real hard for this not to happen,but i'm getting prepared.

i had totake henry(my cat)to the vet.boy that was expensive.he has been sick and not eating.
i have to force feed him.won't know until monday,whats wrong.

That one was in the house all winter. didn't die back hard, had leaves all winter. Only one I have with blooms, others are growing a little but only getting well water, no rain. Have to water morning and evening, if I don't they wilt. Poor things.
