we saw cars upside down, up in trrees, on top of one another. university mall was no longer there. it was awful. they are still finding bodies. someones heart and leg fell out of a tree today. please pray forn the victims

Well, I got the stitches out of my knee, but we are not any closer to an answer on my fingers. She was more concerned about the top knuckle on my middle finger, as the xrays show little bone pieces off to the side, and between the joint. When I showed her I still can't bend my index finger, she said she saw nothing on the xrays. Then ask me if I wanted to see them, I said yes. So I followed her to her office, and when she showed me the xrays, I ask her what was the stuff on the side? She blew it up larger, and said, oh I did not see that there. It is small bone fragments off to the side on top and middle knuckle. So now I am going to make an appointment with a hand specialist in San Antonio, and see what can be done! Dumb Dr.'s!!!!

LK i can't believe she didn't see that ? ! but i m so glad you caught it. It sounds so painful . I sure hope you get it all fixed soon.
signed up kids for soccer. this year they start the traveling teams. boy only teams and girl only teams at this age soooooo
i m hoping i can manage this all by myself ? LOl yea. like i think it will work ??? Duh ! oh well if all fails then they just don't do soccer this year.

Sorry to hear about the problems with Doug, Cindy. I know about problems with drinking, lived with it, but by then had 2 small boys to raise so I stayed. Men can be so dramatic at times and they can sit on the pity pot a lot.

LK bone fragments will usually dissolve, I think you have tendon damage that she's not seeing, because it won't show up in an x-ray. Did she even look at the MRI she took?

No, she said they did not turn out!!! Specialist appoint is on the 13th! That is the quickest they could get me in, but will call if they have and cancellations.

What????? I have not ever heard of one of those scans not turning out, I think she doesn't want to deal with it and therefore is acting like a complete tard and taking you for the fool. She's a tard, change docs completely.

Yeah!!!! Our Jaye is back on, how great is that? Dang old China berry lost a limb but no damage. Everyone fine at my house but some of our churchmembers lost their home but Thank God, We didn't lose them. Prase the Lord!!!!! I am so glad you are back. I'm in my first RWB swap and so looking forward to it. Already got my RWB dragon made on a rock and a Horse head too.

Just a word of encouragement for Crissy, your break up may be a blessing in disguise. I suFfered through a broken engagement a couple of years ago. That was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I would have been miserable in that marriage. This year I think I finally pushed the correct button to stop him from calling me. You deserve better and you don't have to kiss any more frogs waiting on your prince charming. I have learned to fill my life with other things that I enjoy.

Great to see (and boy can I) Jaye and Kathy posting today. Kathy, I can only imagine the horror of seeing the damage--what I saw following Charlie in 2004 was pale in comparison to what you witnessed. Take care and believe me, many prayers have been said at this household.

Jaye, can relate to the withdrawals--feel that when I am down at my sisters house. I will be home for a while (unless on of my children drive me down for a few days) as the doctor doesn't want me driving that distance by myself yet. The day after check up was great but gals, the anesthesia was better. LOL Good thing Kim took off today as I am still groggy. I told y'all smelling the cap off the vanilla flavoring give me a cheap drunk. Must confess to feeling more rested than I have in a while. Jaye enjoy your 'lil toy.

Cindy, sorry to hear your news but much better to find this out now. Life is to short for that kind of relationship. Sending hugs.

Well the anesthesia has finally worn off and I woke up early--for me that is. LOL
The eye is irritated but I was told to expect that. It is scratchy this morning but I have yet another bottle of drops to use for that feeling. All in all, I feel okay--just so glad it is over with and trying to be patient for the next 4 weeks to pass so I can get my new glasses.

How are your fingers and knee doing?

Finger is still swollen and can't move much. I got the stitches out of my knee yesterday, and it has a bit of fluid buildup, and the Dr, said to keep an eye on it, if it does not go down soon, she will have to drain it! So I am not happy with her at all. Next time I need an orthopedic Dr, it will not be this one!

Sorry to hear that. Keep an eye on it and don't let it go to long!! Well, I am off to see what kind of trouble I can get into that does not involve bending, lifting, straining or any thing that might be fun to do!!!!

Been away for a while babysitting the grandsons. It's so nice to pop in here and find both Marion and Jaye back where they are loved.... I've missed you alll...
