nice haul Victor
Spending Spree part 5
Nice Victor!!
Yes Karen you can store your dahlias in the pots. Keep them on the dry, cool side and they will go semi dormant.
I am lusting after your orders, V
Victor, can I just shop at your house? Patti
Nuce Davidsan pix. We will be ordering in the next few years when DD and SIL get to that project.
I know he isnt excited about removing the mugo pine and the cherry tree.
Someone, slap my hands....I just ordered lilies from The Lily Garden, and it's all Pixie's fault!
nice trees victor - david sends mine today - bloom river order looks very good!
Got an email that my B&B order is coming. Expecting the second FW order this week as well. Will have lots to plant! Weather is not helpful.
Its pouring here. I expet lily bulbs tomorrow and there are scattered Tshowers predicted.
Threat of T-storms all week here, no orders in sight!
i have one other order coming in this week from klehm's
still have a load of hosta, hcg, and bluestone to come yet. it looks like a nursery out there right now!
Every time I see 'Klehm', I cannot help but think of 'phlegm'!!
Victor, what is the goldish evergreen 2nd from left from your Bloom River order, liking the look much. Great looking JM's! I moved. weeping one today, the ice and snow snapped all the branches that faced out, so.........hoping it survives the trauma!
I'll check in the morning to make sure.
What did you get from Klehm's, Bill? They're one my favorites, snotty or not ;)
I only have one order left to be delivered. Graceful Gardens.
I love Graceful Gardens. They are my favorite mail order the plants are the biggest and healthiest I ever get from anyone else. I do their 3 tray every season. This year I ordered 36 new delphinium. I was thinking we need a delphimium forum too. I also ordered a lot of roses. DH asked when UPS was going to start
36???... wow that's huge
I love them.. just wish they were not so floppy
I stake them. I use the thinner bamboo stakes. My delphinium are amazing this year. We have had a really cool wet spring and they love it. I can't wait my side year is mostly roses, delphinium and lilies. ( I am a collecter not a planner)
can't wait to see photos!!
I love delphinium too. I ordered the shorter varieties to try and avoid staking. I am an avid anti-staker. My only disappointment is that they are more or less annuals here. Boo!
My mother can't grow them in NC. Her roses are amazing though. My dad keeps telling me not to send her any more. (he's 71 and still digging beds every year)
Great haul on those orders, Victor! Those look like really good plants.
Ronnie, thanks for the info on the dahlias. I will just put the pots in the cellar for the winter and leave them alone.
Marilyn, you bad girl! Well, I have been eying those lilies myself. Maybe when I get paid this Friday.....
Sounds like your mother's an avid gardener like the rest of us, bookreader.
Karen
Its thundering now. Guess no garden work today.
weeze i ordered - Picea Pungens Gebelles Golden Spring, Picea Orientalis
Tom Thumb, Picea Abies Perry's Gold, and Champaecyparis obtusa Ellie B.
I see that a few of my delphs have returned, but they usually don't do well for me either. It certainly has been a cool, rainy spring! We are at least 4 weeks behind last year.....
I've been waiting for my delphs to die out so I can replace them, they just keep on going and going.
ooohhh pretty one RD!!!
my Christmas present from someone small in stature and far away came today!!!!!

Like your choices Allison. Small huh? ^_^

Nice hellebore, Marilyn! Allison, those lilies are great. I have Girosa.
Karen
thanks Karen.. seems to be a popular one amongst our group
Because it's so pretty and so is Salmon Star.
Just think...in another 10 years I won't be able to go up to Mt. Washington or i'll blow off. Brian already told me my time was limited up there! LOL
