Spending Spree part 5

Thomaston, CT

They actually use both soft & hard plastic pots, Debi....the soft ones, like bags, are closest to the road, the hard plastic pots are about 1/2 way down the field....I noticed today some of the soft bag ones had fallen over.....

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Could you take some pics of those, Marilyn? I would like to see.

Carrie, I have visited and made purchases on eBay already this year, over a month ago. Daylilies, of course.

I have plenty of regular pots, just trying to decide if all the extra openings in a strawberry pot is worth it. It could keep the fruit cleaner is about all I can think of.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I added up my orders so far this season and havnt spent 1/4 th of what I did the past 3 years. I didnt include planters and garden art.
Christmas Tree Shop here is having a sale on Patio and Garden stuff.
New planters $30.ea going to look great with Silver Falls.
I'm going to see if my fake terrecotta planters will fit into them.I'm not keene on 30 inches of wasted plant mix.

Went to Big Lots today. They had rolls of 3' by 5' landscaping cloth for 5 bucks

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Iris, you received your Bluestone order before me? Did you specify a ship date?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

That landscape cloth does NOT work on our weeds down here

must not be GH grade then

I never should have come back - dropped easily $200 on eBay and then my Bluestone order arrived!

South Hamilton, MA

I had told them at Bluestone the april dates when we would be away. So they said they would ship on april 18. I didn't want plants sitting around with no one home.

Just got my e-mail from Bluestone, they shipped today

Thomaston, CT

Not for me yet....Carrie, how easy it is to be tempted by plants.....I think I lost some per. geraniums in the new garden......I'd like to order some, but they may be late coming up.....

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Nice haul Jen. All from one source or did you scatter your money?

South Hamilton, MA

Just made out the first iris order. 6 plants which includes 3 TBs which is heresy according to DH.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

All from one nursery, I was very pleased with their selection and the helpfulness of the guy working there. The Cercis is around 6' tall.

Here's the actual plants...
I have to get a pic of the Cercis, it wasn't showing up in the pic, I need a solid backdrop
