I had to look up spinone, too. Had never heard of that one.

Allison, they are adorable. Cool that there's a lily named Eros. I checked daylilies, and there is one named Eros, too. http://www.hayfield.ca/ At this website, scroll down on the left to their previous intros and click on Eros for a pic and description. It's a very cute, 2" flower. They don't have it available, but I'm sure others would.

Love that lily website! I'm going to have to place and order with them, looks like.

Oldest dog Xena just got clobbered with a newspaper as she will look out the window and bark at the air. Mr. went and hid in a corner and he got nothing.

Mr. G is a smarty! Have seen strange animals lately....yesterday, while walking Robs, I came across a 4' black racer....she took her sweet time moving off the road....then, heading back, what I thought was a log, turned into a good-sized snapping turtle. I saw the ranger and told him....he saw an eagle right where I had seen the turtle...go figure! Then this morning, Garret showed me a tree frog on my fence....largest one I ever saw, about the size of my palm....cute in an ugly way!

Thomaston, CT

I managed to get a photo of him......ooops....forgot the photo!

Don't lick it - or is that toads you are not suppose to lick?

If you kissed it you dont know what you would get.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Looks like a rock

Thomaston, CT

Little guy is still there....think he chose my fence for his last hurrah......

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Why would you be licking amphibians or lizards anyway?? Pretty bad social life I would say.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

As I said, social life...

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

the doberman at the barn I used to board my horse at used to lick toads.. and come back looking like he was rabid

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

LOL! My dog Tia did it with snakes, it was my fault really..I screamed, she killed it!!
