Could have been worse - they could have needed a chisel.

Thomaston, CT

Never got out the one in my side that caused all the trouble...doc said it had disintegrated.....

ick ick ick

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I still have a small welt on my back where a tick was. It's right on the natural waistline of slacks/skirts. Itches occasionally to this day. It's been over a year since that parasite decided to feed on me. Would the food chain be disrupted if those creatures ceased to exist?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

and mosquitoes too!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Why don't they feed on each other??

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Please work on that Victor! :)

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Well, all this talk about ticks is grossing me out big time. We need a new thread, so I'll go and start one.

Quote from schickenlady :

3 teeth have issues maybe 4. They put her on an antibiotic they use for lyme disease but it will also take care of the teeth problem for now. Once the antibiotics are done and it comes back

Acting strange and wont eat again. Was panting but stopped. Wont get out from under my feet. Been 2 weeks on antibiotic. Again I am dreading this.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

so sorry Sherrie.. hope things improve

Teeth should not be a problem or lyme on the antibiotics. I am begining to have a gut feeling.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Oh, Sherry, I'm praying everything will turn out well. Sorry to hear that.

Sherry I hope everything is OK.

She is eating outta hand but not her meal. I dont know whats happening. I have a bad feeling but could be wrong. 2 weeks with antibiotics and rottone teeth how would we feel?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

did you try some chicken?... I sometimes gave Jily chicken soup when her teeth were bad.. and after her surgery to get them removed

East Bridgewater, MA

Chopped-up bologney doesn't need chewing, and the cheapest brand is just as appreciated as the most expensive brand (higher fat content, the "flavor is in the fat").

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh no Sherrie, I hope she's OK.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

this is an option as well

This is an updated (fat) picture of Ivan (the 2 week old kitten I found, bottle fed). I believe, at last weigh in, the moose weighed about 25lbs

The two tuxedo kittens I adopted last year, this is the little girl, Leggo. She's my velcro cat. If I'm downstairs, so is she, if I'm upstairs, so is she, if I stop moving for more than 2 minutes, she's in my lap, or around my legs. Sitting at the computer, in my lap. lol When I'm outside gardening, or just coming home from work...this is what I get to see every day :-)

Kitty obviously enjoys climbing...maybe she saw the movie "Spiderman" on TV, and got inspired !

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Sherrie - I'm sending you positive vibes for something good !!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Hope all goes well, Sherrie. My Patches had to have a tooth removed once. I think my new dog might need one removed eventually. Looks like he has a pretty bad looking one. A lot of tarter on it.

Don't forget we have a new thread here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1182508/
