Barb, so nice to hear your going to see Betty! I can see her smiling from here!
Judy, it is hard to see our kids go through hard times, but all we can do is sit back and watch. There are times when we talk till were blue in the face, and we think nothing is heard, and all of a sudden they pull through, and surprise us with a right decision.
Sending big armwraps to you!
I'll drop in and check it again in the morning..likely a fluke..thanks for the info..I'm so ignorant of anything medical
Betty please call your Dr about the blood pressure. It really is something you shouldn't fool with. By any chance do you use a lot of salt with your food. I know that is one of the first things our drs tell us to limit. My first husband had high blood pressure and I learned to cook with NO SALT. I still do and that was 40 some years ago. We all love you and want you to feel good again. Please????
The second is higher because you took them close together.
Also Betty, which arm did you use? They say you will get a more accurate reading with your left arm.
And, if you had just walked or scurried with driving and walking to get back from lunch....that could have elevated it also.
BUT, you should get it checked at the doctors. They are right....lower your salt intake. This means cans of soup....or anything canned...is high in salt. As is any processed foords. AND....this is the part I hate....soda is high in salt...regardless if it is diet or regular!! It stinks!
Not a big fan of salt..used my left arm...
yep, walked into drug store, not in a hurry though, lady was having hers done and was there for a few minutes..likely tomorrow it will be normal..
ahhh time to go home...
best part of the day isn't it!!!
Almost tome for bed..rather get up and play in the morning..sat here and too one of the swap blocks apart..will do some sewing over the weekend!
Ann just called, palliative care will come in the morning to bring oxygen for Mike and then in the afternoon a nurse will come to teach her how to give him morphine..she sounds drained!
Prayers for all in need!
So guys I will be moving closer to a few of you soon... I am running off with a young hunky truck driver from Montreal. He brought a load of fence to Lowes this morning and I thought he looked pretty good. Then he started talking..... Oh my I think I swooned at the sound of his voice. What a lovely accent. Then I thought of the love note Ric tucked into the lunch he packed for me yesterday and his many other talents (wink..wink). Bet that truck driver can't cook either. So I called Ric and told him I decided not to run off with the truck driver after all and I would be home after work. LOL
Hello To All !
Oh HOLLY ! YOU are HILARIOUS! I suppose you could have done us good with a LOWES truck driver... I mean... free fencing and such... but I do think the hubs will be better for you over all... and Ric writes good notes...
If you do change your mind... or if hunky truck driver is interested in some southern gal... I DO NEED some fencing down here... at least 80 yards or so... ((HUGS))
oh my Judy Judy Judy... Seedtosser! The teens can surely throw us for a loop for sure... Belle and Cinderella are my two favorite Disney Princesses ! Belle is a READER like me... YES - I did send Betty a book but I got the title confused with your name... must have been thinking about YOU... it's "Seedfolks" and it's a tale of how a little girl (ie Betty) got an entire community to bond together (IE this blog) all folks from different lives, cultures and backgrounds and all together due to one little girl who planted a SEED...... I want you to read this and Whirligig by the same author... if necessary... I'll buy and re-send the books to you..... but Seedfolks reminded me of how Betty has brought us all together... not sure if she has read the book or not...
Barb - LOVE reading of your plans! Please keep us in the Loop... I think that is Awesome ! Hope you will give us the play by play on your trip!
Deb... Thumb is now okay... Hoping the cats learned to behave! Bev - Beautiful Daylilies... One day I will buy one that you have shown me....
Tomorrow will be a challenge for me...but somehow I feel that I will have you all alongside me as I drive 5-6 hours to the hotel... You have all been a support for this trip and I am SO SO Grateful to you all...
I can't wait to get there and take pictures to post on here... I will NOT BE ALONE as I have been concerned about....Because you YOU will all be with me on this journey ! ((HUGS))
((HUGS)))
Mary
I am done with all my plants!! What a mess...lol They are now saying 90 percent chance of Thunderstorms all day tomarrow here, but only 40% in Dothan, So I am hoping to out run the edge. I leave at 4 pm tomarow as thet is when Goober gets out of school. I would hate to be her teacher tomarrow!! I am downloading movies to the laptop right now for the trip so Goober has something to do!!. Maybe that way she will not talk me half to death,,,lol
hugs to everyone and here is my pic for the day,,This is my new lotus pond area!!
Kris / Elf - Is that a Japanese Maple Tree? If so... GOT to tell Hubby... I'm trying to 'talk' him into one... Can't wait to Meet you / see you saturday ! My FIRST BETTY"S BLOG MEETING ! ((HUGS)))
Oh Holly, you sound like me when the UPS man comes down the road. My heart starts jumping and .....then he drives by! Dang!
DH even tells me.....he sends me things just so I can see the UPS man.
I figure I don't need a cardiologist for my heart, I have my PT, my "Clark Kent" doc, and my UPS man! LOL
Early morning PT...have to leave here by 7:30....so won't be on til later.
Debbie
Safe travels Mary and Kris! Know you will both have a blast...... just a little envious I must say.
Barb where are you cossing into Ontario when you come over? I only live an hour or so from the Thousand Islands Bridge crossing. Just for you info if this is a leisurely trip you are planning there is a ferry from I think Cape Vincent in NY that crosses over to Wolfe Island (a spit from Kingston) and then you take a smaller ferry from Wolfe Island to Kingston. It is a gorgeous trip!Depending on who is driving (my DH is a speed demon) Kingston is 30 min from me if DH is driving, 45 min if I am.
Been looking longingly at the Tang. The lane seems to be in pretty good shape even before we do the Spring maintenance so am thinking of putting the Tang back on the road earlier this year.. Thrill Hill look out here I come!!!
Ouch Kris..... your fingers sound very painful. Have they suggested you sleep in the splint and take it off during the day? Must be putting a crimp in all your sewing and such.
Betty get that BP checked. We have a machine since DH has problems. He suffers terribly from 'white coat' syndrome so I take his BP almost every day andkeep a chart.
Sweet dreams everyone, am going to try and go to bed but I have a feeling sleep will be elusive again tonight.
Dianne
Morning everyone! Yep you guessed it the sleep thing didn't work. I'll try and read for a bit or watch a DVD on my portable DVD player so DH can sleep.
Going to try a new Rhubarb,Strawberry crisp recipe today. I still have some fruit in the freezer that I want to use up. Nothing sweet for us today from me just a lovely Free Trade Coffee called Kick A**. I love it!
Hope you all have a wonderful Friday! Make sure you do something nice for yourself today!!
I know I said it but Drive Carefull Mary and Kris - have a blast!!
Dianne
Morning everyone,
I have decided to pull Golober out of school about an hour early . We are going to try to out run the leading edge of the storm. My biggest worry right now is they are predicting high winds starting around 1 pm and lasting all night. It is not supposed to be so bad further south of us, so I may get lucky. If it gets to bad I will be parked at a Mcdonalds and going online to chat till the bad parts blow over us. We wil have pillows and blankets and the laptop to watch movies, so we should be good. I sound like I am trying to ride out a Blizzard or hurricane don't I,,,lol
Can anyone tell me why is it every single time I want to head south to Dothan it STORMS!! Is it a jinx or something?
Huggs to all.. going to try to catch a nap. Then finish packing the SUV... Will try to check in right before I leave.
Mary and Kris drive carefully and have fun.
Barb I know Betty is doing the happy dance about you and Norm going to visit her. Sounds like a really great trip.
Dianne did you grow your own rhubarb? We used to have a plant when I was a kid. And just put one in the ground the other day. So we will see if it will grow.
Betty is there any way to go to the dr and just get them to check your BP.Really should be first thing they do when you go for an apt.
Off for coffee then salad bar volunteer.BBL
Hugs and prayers to Shirley and Tubby, Bev and Scotty, Ann and Mike.........always in my thoughts and prayers........
Morning all
Gorgeous sunrise, talk about a choir going on outside, yikes the birdies are all in tune! Can see the sunshine touching my jammies, almost like she's telling me to stay home today, she will keep me company but no can do, only 2 in the office this today ad 1 is leaving early and it is not me. Lol
Omg Holly, Quebec is just a hop skip and a jump for me and I speak French, be sure to get his name and number, he'll not even need to bring lumber, that I can buy, but good lovin with a French accent might just be the thing I need right now...ooh I was married to a Frenchman, better pass because if my blood pressure is high now, lordy can't think of how high it might get! Picture would do..I'm with the other gals, best you stay with Ric!!
I envy you both Kris and Mary to be off today for the round up..Mary, drive like you are off on a adventure, which you are, drive slow enough to see the beauty of the countryside, no sense rushing just to arrive early and sit in a hotel..the time away will do wonders for you...who knows, once you get the traveling bug you just might want to drive north of the border to see those Frenchmen yourself..lol
Debbie, you are up early and off running, wanted to ask if you had a Monday update from the firm who is working on your behalf...darts, should have sent the oil by UPS rather than air waves.
Dianne, do hope you'll be able to fit in a nap later today once you've taken Tang out..Darlene and Mike have a mustang convertible and
they are antsy to take it out as well...
Kris, you give that Mary the biggest kiss for me/us and Mary do the same with Kris and goober...we will all be there in sprit..take mega photo's
Shirley, hope you both slept through the night and are having coffee and pepsi
Yikes look at the time, got to RU, gab at the office
Morning Laura, you can pack up the trailer and the family and head north west yourselves..that also would be so cool! Enjoy the day
Morning All!
I had a post about ready to send and hit the wrong button. It wasn't meant to send as I was complaining about somethings, but i think someone else thought I should keep those feelings to my self. I'll try this again.
We've been up since 3:30 and Tubby was sitting in the recliner, but I just put him back to bed a little bit ago as he was having pain in his upper back. He is going to try to sleep now, so hopefully that will help. If it gets worse I will call the Dr. for something. The Compazene is helping with the nausea/vomitnig but now I think he's constipated so will probably have to give him something to help with that.
The youngest girl is coming out today. She asked if we could look through photos as her and sister want to have a video done. I will have to tell her there's no money in the budget for that, so if they want one they will have to flip the bill. His one sis from SD is coming today and one of her girls is bringing her. Hopefully they don't expect to stay here, as that is last thing I need. It's a long story but it's hard on me, but I will suck it up and make the best of it.
Kris thank you for the Dmail and also for the post from Henri Nouwen. Love the Japanese Maple you have by your pond. That area will look great as it develops more. Do have a safe trip and a wonderful time this weekend at the RU. We'll all be praying for great weather for driving and the RU.
Dianne sorry to hear you are having such difficulty getting the rest you need and also that Hubby is in such terrible pain. Hope and pray for you both that it all gets better soon.
Debbie hope the PT gets better each time and the discomfort finally subsides.
Judy kids do amaze a person. You can talk till you are blue in the face and wonder if they are ever gonna listen and get it and then one day it all comes together. Hang in there girl as it's all worth it in the end.
Barb love the pic. of your quilts you do. I'm so happy to hear that you are taking a trip to see Betty and I know you will have a great time. I'll be thinking of you guys and know I'll be with you in spirit and laughing with you.
Betty I'm sure your palliative care is like out hospice. That is good that they are going to show Ann how to administer the morphine to help keep Mike comfortable. They should be a great support for her. Thanks for the post of George Jones it was wonderful. I so enjoyed the pictures of your garden, I can picture myself and Tubby sitting there with you enjoying the view and the great company. Please give Ann an extra HUG from us when you see her next. Yes, dear you need to have your BP checked by your Dr. You may need a little something to help. When it is high it can make your head pound like crazy. It can be hereditary or some comes with age. Sometimes it can be controlled by diet and excersise, but there are times when we need some meds to help. Please get it checked out.
Bev so enjoy your pics and am thinking of you both and you are in our prayers and thoughts also. HUGS to you both.
Holly you are too funny. I think it was more the accent than anything, but the Hubby is a keeper as there aren't many that will pack a lunch and send love notes to their wife. Glad to hear your Dad is doing better and getting stronger all the time. We wish him the best.
Susan so glad to hear that your knee is better and do enjoy your pictures and the verses they carry.
Woodspirit (Betty) welcome to our chat room. It's always lovely with all the warm and giving hearts that are here. We have a great time, so do come in and join us often.
LindaKay thank you for sending that to me and I do hope your fingers get better soon. Have you tried soaking them in warm water maybe with a little Epsom Salts in it to help with the soreness and then alternating with cold packs for the swelling? It's just a thought and I pray they heal soon.
Mary glad to hear your finger is better. I'll be thinking of you and what a great time you will have at the RU. We'll be looking forward to hearing all about it and seeing the pictures.
Well, enough for now and will check in later when I get a chance. I need to dust and vacum a bit this morning before everyone arrives. The rain is to continue today and then warm up a bit. It doesn't make any differnce since I'm not able to go out and do anything. The only thing is the dogs track in, but that just gives me somthing else to do.
Please everyone have a great day and weekend. We will be thinking of you all.
Shirley & Tubby
Morning everyone! Fresh pot of coffee on the counter for yhose in need. And a fresh hot monkey bread to pick at when you get hungry.
Shirley, sorry to hear you did not sleep well last night. Maybe you can take a nap with Tubby? Hope your visit goes well with the girls.
Betty, when you go to the drug store for your blood pressure today, try to rest about 5 minutes, before you take. That will give you a more accurate reading. Better yet, stop by the Dr. office, and have them check it real quick!
Mary and Kris, enjoy your trip and visit, and one of you better have a camera ready! We will be waiting for pictures.
The Dr. told me to not wear the splint, and start moving my fingers. Well night before I went to bed with out it, and when I got up yesterday morning... OW! It was so sore and swollen. So I slept with it last night, and it is not too bad today! Still not able to move it, but not much swelling today! Shirley, I have some epsom salt, so I will go and make a warm bowl and soak them. Can't hurt anything. Thanks for the tip!
Dianne, enjoy that thrill hill in your tang! ANd let us know how that Rhubarb,Strawberry crisp comes out! Sounds really good.
Well, I have watered the gardens already this morning, so I will go and check the rest of the threads, and get some housework done, before it gets too hot.
Have a great day everyone!
Wow - so much going on today!!!! I don't know where to start.
Mary and Kris ---- you are going to have such a wonderful time. I think these RUs are a great way to connect with each other.
I do envy you both. Goober will have a great time too spending special time with her Gram.
Been saying extra prayers for Tubby and Mike. Praying really hard for their comfort. Lord how I wish I could be there for you Shirley and Ann. Just to be a pair of hands and a shoulder if nothing else. I really feel so helpless. Please know how much I think of you and that I'll be praying for your strength too.
LK hope the fingers are healing better. I'd take the splint off during the day so I can watch it and wear it at night when I can't...
Judy, sounds like you are going full speed ahead. I'd love to have some of your energy. Sounds like the house is really shaping up. I know I'd be thrilled with a bathroom makeover.... Just don't wera yourself out. I'm also happy to hear the teenager stuff is looking better. I do remember those days and they weren't always great....
Laura are you all packed? You could meet us in NY and we could all go to Canada together!!!!
Holly, I don't think I've welcomed you yet. I'm the Barb in NH who waited soooooo long for a sign of spring. I STILL have some snow in the backyard which should finally melt today. Anyway, I wish to extend a warm welcome to you. Please forgive me for being so remiss.
Crissy - a big wave to you and Susan as well.
Dianne, I can just see you in your Tang!!! You sound like a little kid with their first big toy!!!! I think that's wonderful...
I'm really happy to hear how close you are to our travel route and as we get closer, we will need to make plans. I think I said
Franklin in my post above but I meant Kingston. The ferry trip sounds wonderful but I also want to meet up with Thea. She lives outside Ottawa and said she could meet me where we cross over into Canada. Then again she said she could meet us in Kingston too!!!! And Debbie, do you think we can meet up? I'm getting myself so excited!!!
Betty, did you check your blood pressure this morning? I DO worry about you. If this is the cause of your headaches, they can be relieved so easily with meds. I counting on you to check....
Norm has today off so we are off for monthly food shopping. It's time to fill the freezer again. I think I could afford just about anything if we didn't need to eat!!!! Maybe even gas!! We need to travel nearly 60 miles round trip for any stores so we do plan ahead...We have a grocery here in town but because they are the only one their prices are sky high. Even with high gas prices, it's cheaper in the long run for us to travel....We try to combine as much as we can into one day. Clothes, food, drs,
and such are all that distance...
He is ready and I'm not dressed. Will check in later.....

SOOO nice to see you posting Barb, we've missed you!
Yep, more the merrier so if anyone else is bored and wants to join us they are more than welcome to come...
Yes Barb I did go have my blood pressure checked..
Decided as some said perhaps I was rushing arund and that could be cause of the high readings this morning I decided to be slow, didn't rush ,walked in and did my thing..
Then went and walked around in the store, not rushing and did a second reading... have come to the conclusion that something is wrong with their machine..
1st reading
systolic 188
Diastolic 079
Pulse 068
2nd reading
systolic 208
Diastolic 108
Pulse 073
So that's that!!! lol
Betty yes their machines may not always be accurate, but these readings need to be checked out at your Dr.'s office. Here you can just walk in and ask to have it done at no charge and they are always happy to oblige. I would say this is probably the culprit all along. Please do so today it won't take very long. You may have to wait a minute or two for the nurse to do it. BP will flucuate even between different machines and if in doubt the nurse will probably take it manually for a more accurate reading. Please, please go as I know you will feel better sooner and be headache free so today a good day like over the lunch hour.
Betty, those readings are too high. Just the slightest movement, can make it change also! So please go and have it checked? Your headaches can go away with a little pill!
Paul just called, told me to pack up about lunch hour and go to hospital if need be and have blood pressure properly checked so will do if not before lunch..Cindy is going to go pick something up for lunch and then I can go...boss's orders
as I said, likely the machine
Betty you are too funny as I don't think it was the machine and you have no idea how happy I am to hear Paul told you to go also. Please listen to us as we are all anxiously awaiting to hear the outcome.
Cindy just went to get some lunch then off I go..I'll try the walk in clinic here down the street but if there are dozens/dozens waiting then I'll head out to Midland to my area hospital..
Shirley, you've much on your plate to be worrying about me..I'm a big girl and am doing fine, honest...epson salts was grandma's cure for everything! Surely the girls did mean they would take photo's and have video made and they didn't expect you to do it at your cost..just to you are guaranteed getting your photo's back I'd get the cost from someone in your area, then I'd tell the girls how much and also tell them you need the money for the video prior to ordering and you don't want to part with these heirlooms, they will be your memories..
I'm too bothered by all the foot prints from the furries, especially as it's muddy in some of the areas near the house that I end up washing floors in the morning and evening..bit excessive..not the end of the world so just enjoy the art of the prints..lol..look who is talking right?
Barb I'm lucky with having grocery store/post office, hardware store/beer & liquor store and 2 variety stores, one right next door to me as well as a Library...I find with being alone it's much easier just to stop in the grocery store and buy what I hunger for that day..I was throwing sooo much food away that I found more economical to do it that way. Major shopping can be done in Midland which is just about 6 miles from home..convenient or if I really want to do mega shopping I do it before going home..that saves on gas ...
Gas went up here this morning, should figure out how much it works to per gallon..hate to think it might be nearing $5.00 or close to..Dianne, do you know how much???
LindaKay epsom salt will really help..perhaps it's time to work them during the day when you are aware of how much strain you are putting on them and careful not to bang them while when asleep, goodness knows how they are bent...don't overdo in the garden..
YUMMM doesn't the strawberry/rhubbarb crips sound wonderful..should be losing weight but maybe I'll stop at the bakery..could be therapy for me ..you shake your head no? how come LindaKay and Debbie and the likes of you all get to eat peanuts...m & m's , jelly beans for your therapy??
hmm not fair is it!
Betty all things are good in moderation, even the bakery. LOL! I don't care what I have going on here, I always have time to worry about a friend.
LindaKay you could even do some therapy with your fingers in the warm water.
Sitting here waiting to go get Goober, Truck is packed to the gills, (note to self,, TAKE PICTURES!!) Need to find clothes to wear,, see I am a gardener, plants first, then camera, then clothing. Right?? lol
Humm, maybe Goober and I should head north instead?? We can sneak accros the border somehow? I can always tell them that my FRIEND will die if Goober and I donot rescue her?? What does everyone think?? Just kidding, well sort of,, but I am worried!!
Good Morning, Good morning!!
You all just make my day, Thank You so much for all the encouragement: re DD.
Can you see me smiling ear to ear...Mary and Kris meeting up at the round up, you will have such a wonderful time...Keeping you both in good thoughts for safe travels to and fro. Be sure to wrap arms each other for all of us. Will be anxiously waiting to see your photos and listen to how much fun you both have, Kris sure hope you outrun any and all storms.
Barb!! So good to see you, aw yep end of winter blues, I think everyone does at some point. But ohh, how wonderful Spring is finally making its way to you. Seems like the seasons are a little bit behind in your area. AND, OHWAH, I am especially grinning that you will be visiting Betty in August. Just making those plans must brighten up your day tremendously. Your quilting is beautiful. Has Norm been using his quilting machine too...Oh and have you taken the class for making the compass star? Speaking of which, your row has been finished for some time now, just have to make time to get to post office! little secret grin, wait till you see the center piece!! ok, ok Will make it a point to get it in the mail tomorrow.
Waiving Hi Bev. Saw you have been working in the gardens. Got my first mini hosta's last year while visiting Joyce in Oh!! I sure hope they made it through winter, I have only two also I got mini daisies..will be so excited to see them, pacing the garden waiting for them to show signs of growth...sending you and Scotty Arm Wraps too. Always have you in my thoughts and prayers.
I wonder just how Mini's are grown, think I'll experiment and cut a regular seed in pieces??
Where's Crissy?? You hooo how are you girl? Waiving to ya.
Liz, if your lurking, waiving and winking to you too...I will be getting my phone back, maybe today but for sure tomorrow, hahaha, will txt ya when I do...
Betty, Betty, so glad to here Paul is sending you to the Doc. BP sure is nothing to play with, Man oh man if that's the culprit to the headaches...Prayers for Ann and Mike as well.
May 15, 2007 Betty is when we met!! LOL, I went back in d-mails to see. Yeppers sure can't wait to see you again either. I tried to give you a ringle jingle the other day, waaah calling card is out of money! LOL, that was what made me stop and finally post.
OK, will tell you all, I am on a serious time frames to get it all done. First, DH is going to be 50,in May, so having a party and I'ld love for the gardens to look like something. Last year, when everyone was here, had to hang my head in shame at the jungles! Then, Breenie is Graduating HS, so another party...Jakes 16th, so will have a little gathering in August and of Course my Sistah Gathering.
Oh my gosh, forgot to tell you. I am going to Boston for Memorial Day weekend. Joyce's son Brandon and Nicole are to married then.
So i talked to Joyce the other night. Awe she asked me to do the flowers for the wedding...I have made several bouquets silk floral in the past...So, I've got to get to the City to get my silk flowers...Took a photo of one I did. Will upload photos in a bit...
Well was up bright and early, have a load in washer, ready to be switched, dishes are almost done. Yesterday Once I got started on cleaning my Bedroom, couldn't stop, lol. By 10:15 P.M. I was done. Boy was it ever a mess. The thing that took the longest was Steves dresser, ROFLOL, the man is always in search for a pen, well I found a great deal buried on his dresser!! LOL, don't want to hear about pens anymore...Today, the hallway and the shrine(Living Room) Have to get tools down stairs and get that room in order.
OK been blabbing for a while, lolol. So better hit send, and i'll be back in a bit.
I really will,be able to take more breaks today!
hahahha, besides i am not finished blabbing yet.
very quick update..
got to the clinic a few blocks away, was told 3 to 4 hour wait, well wasn't going to get off work before 3 so that would be okay.
After asking what was wrong she told me to go to the pharmacy and get my bloodpressure reading so she could attach to myform..came back and it was 212..told me to wait and left the 28 people who looked far more ill than I sit in waiting room while I went into the doctors..
Lovely lady..have a sheet of a zillion things she wants checked, can do that next week as I have to fast..and a prescription for high blood pressure meds...told me they cannot afford to lower my high blood readings too quickly..to MAKE sure i continue to take reading several times a day
So now I'm off home, might lay on the chesterfield but will drop in for a 'hi' when I get there..now paul is panicking because I have to drive home...shhhzzzzz..
Thanks for all your support
OMG!! Betty, That is out of sight!!! Please please drive careful. Hope you took the med immediately.
Did they give you a BP thing to take home?
Betty do all of us a favor and purchase a blood pressure cuff for your personal use. You can get them at the drug store.....please.............
Now home, swept the floor, bath is ready, got Mary's book to read, head was pounding much to much to be reading past few weeks so I'll enjoy..took my 1st pill and figure I can lay around doing nothing for the rest of the day...play lazy...issued about the blood pressure machines and she said they could be out by as much as 10 points but still would be high...
Laura,Suzanne and Lenny will drop off their blood pressure meter until I pick one up..
Kris, should almost be time for you to get on the road..do enjoy.head north, head north but only after picking Mary up!
Judy, I always get such a kick out of you..yikes, Boston. .. Will have to go see when..one off Roger and i's favorite place to visit..we had friends in worster and we.d all go downtown to what was then the hawaian club, Chinese next door...what fun we use to have, that is when we didn't get caught up in the traffic spoke downtown
Off for now
When are you coming to Boston Judy? I'm only an hour or so north. We go down there once in a while to catch a show or play. It's an old, old city with many VERY narrow and one way streets. And so much HISTORY!!! Will you be in Boston long?
I can't make it to your gathering but maybe we could meet there? Would be such a special treat.
Scotty has has very much blood in his urine since early early morning. Called the doc at 10:00 am and have not heard from him yet. Yikes!!!! BEV
Bev, you need to get him to the ER, or a walk in clinic, and have that checked! PLEASE???
Just called again and waiting on the doc to call.
Bev Linda Kay is right, definately needs some testing done ASAP. That is not good, and the doctor needs a pop upside the head for not calling back. Does he have a nurse that works with him you could speak with?
Barb....do you know when you would be coming through the area? I would LOVE to meet up with you and Norm. All depends on when though. Between sons graduation....and when I end up having surgery. IF you can give me a general idea of when...I will do my very best to schedule things around that time. Even if I drive to Niagara Falls and we meet up there.
Betty!!!! What am I going to do with you. Do you know the TWO major things with high blood pressure are ....headache..and blurred vision! What am I going to do with you. I am going to have to move in and take care of you, do the cooking for both of us!
My morning with the physical terrorist (love it Dianne) was rough. Not so sure what was worse, the work out or the "electrocution" afterwards. He says the "electronic impulses" are supposed to help with pain and healing....I don't think so! lol
