I started cleaning everything out on Thursday.
Between Jake and I, cleared all the stone. Saturday, Had to relocate all the brick again!
Julia came to see what was in the works...Stated how this was a great weekend project, so Yesterday this is what we concentrated on.
My "Sanctuary" I love this little area. It was really nice, And then the Village came in and tore it up. it was never the same again. the space ended up to be storage of junk...Told DH, I am reclaiming my patio.
So with the kids help.

haha, Thank you...He really hadn't planned on working on the patio, but once we got started, it was to finish before the rain.

Linda Kay, Do you bring Paco outside? It was such a beautiful day, We had Skittles out for some fresh air, she loves being out side.

I do bring him outside. He loves it when I turn on the sprinkler, and give him a shower.

So tomorrow is our 26th anniversary! my gosh where did the year go?? Saturday night Steve and I went out for dinner and then he surprised me with tickets to Robert Plant concert at the Chicago Theater, what a beautiful place. Concert was excellent.

We ran into our good friends Gail and Dave. LOL, thought that was pretty cool. We were going to link up with them, but took a wrong turn.
We ended up going to our old stomping grounds. The owner recognized me immediately...It was The Levee, I spent 5+ years of my life there...Steve and i took Karate lessons. Well, we inquired about my Sensei and came to find out he passed away 2 years ago. I had a good cry in the dojo. Our Knowledge wall (trophies)still there!

Awe thats so cute. Skittles is so funny outside, she guards her cage and chatters with the birds.

Oh, Jaye, I am bummed to tell you, Buster didn't make it. We tried our best...He's buried out in the yard under the pine tree.
And that little section of garden I decided should be called Buster Park.

Ok then on the inside, Steve gutted the master Bath! Yikes what a big mess...it is taking a lot longer as he and partner go to work every other day. But it will be so nice when it's done...We have a custom shelf being made. It's beautiful, and to my surprise a new matching mirror...

Sistah Judy, I tried calling you on the cell this morning.

When the audience kept asking, Plant said on the microphone that it's something to do with Les Zeppelin's licencing.
But they did play only the acoustic version.
I had learnt since then that the song can be too strenous on them.. so
at every show, it's played as the last number, only instrumental.

got most of it done
got a crumby house cleaning scedual. but i guess i shouldn't ask for more ? i can't take any more of this .
austin may quit karate. i thought he really liked it ? oh well. i m sick of going myself. i get so bored sitting and waiting.
we will give it 3 more weeks and then if he still wants to quit i guess he can.

Well, The Dr, said the Xrays look good, but can't figure out why they are still swollen and won't bend! So I start occupational therapy next week. She thinks that will help. She told me to loose the splints, and be carefull with my fingers, but start working them... So hopefully therapy will work?

That's good news that you don't need surgery. Therapy will help I'm sure. It's getting expensive LK. Maybe it's time sistah to turn this to a lawyer?
I don't want your fingers stretched a certain way too long, so perhaps you can pack you know what and send them to me? Get Todd to tape the package for you!!!

Well, I just called the corporate office, and they said I needed to call the Best Western where I stayed and file an official complaint. And of course the manager is not in, So I left my name and number for her to call back. She is supposed to call back soon, and if I don't get any satisfaction from her, I will tell her she will hear from my attorney. Now I need to find one...

Yes, they do hurt. Dr. grabbed them today, and tried to force them to bend, and I told her, "DON'T DO THAT"!!!
The manager just called me from Best Western, and told me they do have an insurance company, took my info, and told me it will be a few days, but they will get back to me! So we wait and see what happens?

When I was so disappointed about the Valentines weekend we had at the Double Tree, they refunded our money. That helped a lot, but I still won't stay there again.

had errands and paper work to do before work.
Tim called and we hashed it all out about our taxes.
ran to work
cleaned two houses
did more errands , dog food, faxes to our accountant. ect..
ran and got kids off bus
ran to karate and they had a special self defense class . Savannah and i joined in.
by 8 pm it was time to head to MCdonalds
got home
cleaned up house , the cleaners come tomorrow
kids are in bed.

Well, I slept with out my splint, as the Dr. suggested, and boy am I sorry I did. My finger is so swollen, and looks like I smashed it in the door again! So the splint is back a on, and
I took a pain pill! Not a good way to start the day! :(

Oh poor you!! I'm sure you'd be leaving that alone for a few more days.

its official that friday is my last day of house cleaning. and i m soooo glad !! i did enjoy it but right now i just can't keep up and do my job well and my family is not happy . Mom is to grumpy all the time and stressed.
