Is that a squirrel?

Yep, my daughter rescued it. There were 4 total, They were strewn on the ground, with a bunch of leaves, waited about 5 hours and when it started getting dark set them up in a little tub placing hot water bottles around them to keep them warm...sent the other three off with a friend who was contacting a rescue shelter, he is now waiting for a reply and that was on Monday evening.

I got a Samsung Captivate, it's wonderful!!!

With fuel going up, everything else will cost more. Those of you with family to feed, it will be tough.

Betty, Canada is known to have the biggest oil reserve. Canada and USA will have to ease up on the reserves and help bring the oil prices down.
Gas is heavily subsidised in some countries, but not in ours. It's the taxes that are killing us too!
I am just glad that winter is over in most states. Can you imagine the heating cost?

Cindy, unload anytime, and whatever's happening to Doug, could be his frustrations in being physically disabled too.
Maybe a weekend visiting family, away from him, may do you some good. Don't get too stressed out that you'll do something you'd regret.

well texas is a state where they can fire you for whatever reason they want so not sure how far it would go but I did talk to another district on the other side of Tyler as I know the gal through the Texas association of pupil transportation and they have a route open
it would not be the pay I was getting but it would be pro rated for my experience.
Plus I would get to keep my position with the Eat Texas apt and still be able to go for the parliamentarian position I am running for in the TAPT

And it would show them they can fire me but I can get a job the next day even if it isn't' the position I had before and the gal said she would love to have me with my experience
she was shocked they let me go over the ticket

Cindy sometimes men just can't channel their feeling or pain very well so it comes out in anger and being withdrawn......I don't have to live w/ him or deal w/ him but from what you've told us he seems to be a good guy.So take a deep breath,look around and try to imagine him not ever being with you......and how you felt before you met him.I have done that when I have been frustrated w/ Rick and it seems to help soften the fact that you'd like to claw his face off.......LOL.

Phyllis,so sorry about your job ,that isn't even fair when it was their mechanical failure that caused you to be in the wrong.which I would say makes you faultless !!! Maybe they were just looking for a reason so they could hire someone to do the same job at a lesser pay........

BOY OH BOY!! Did we ever had a horrible storm!! Rain and wind 25 mph with gusts up 50 mph. Power went out about 10 finally came back on around 3. Auburn got 2.5 inches of rain in an hour!!! Don't know how much we got but the back yard is a pond again.

Yup I do need some get away time. Think I'll go to the local casino/hotel......good idea!!!

Cindy sorry to hear of the Doug's attitude , i hope he doesn't have a hormone issue going ? even men can get that :) or is it pain ? and he is just tired of it all ? i sure hope you get some answers from him and yoiu guys can work it out . I will be praying for you guys.

Night everyone! Seems like I have come down with a bad head and chest cold. Guess it is from changing weather. Sure hope it passes soon! I don't like being sick!

Jaye - I was teasing Bob about our hot tub now being a Humugeous plant pot LOL
I mentioned extending the desk overtop of the tub (once we remove the new-ish lid!) and he says it's higher than the deck, so my suggestion is to have the deck higher lol

Just got home from choir practice and I have a "personal" day off tomorrow so no working LOL yaaaaaaaaaay!!
Actually, I'll be printing the Quarterly newsletter, so will be quite busy, and also will need to get some more ink cuz I KNOW this will run out lol - oh wait a moment - got extra ink last time, so this cartridge is almost full, AND I have a new one - good going, Susan! lol lol lol

Patti.. I'm always whacking away at the Jessamines which grow wild here. The Jessamines can overpower anything. Thank God I had not planted any morning glories!!!
I do have trumpet vines, but they stay tamed along the fence.
No wild runners for me. Just something that will behave very nicely, madam!!

Hey - about the deck - serious. I mean he should put a top layer above the hot tub. Leave the rest of it as it is. Y'see, the hot tub was blocked from view by a 3/4 wall 16ft from the front of the deck, and there is only a boardwalk width between the wall and the hot tub. I propose to leave the wall, put blocks on the boardwalk top and then put a new level up a step to match the top of the hot tub. I hope I explained it well enough.... I can "see" it in my mind's eye - can't you?

Mints are hard to kill Patti.. just like Oregano!! I'm surrounded by Jessamine here, and Zyrtec is not cheap! Lol.
Was out in the yard for a bit, the wind blowing and little yellow blossoms plus pine pollen heading my way!! Oh dear.. just have to remember if it's windy, stay indoors!
