Well sistahs..
We were supposed to leave the house at 9. But somehow things went wrong. And we didn't leave almost an hour later.

1. Got into the truck, and about to merge into hwy traffic, about 1/4 mile from the house, I realised that I had left my cash behind!
Kel had to turn around and grumbled for that short 1/4 mile as our shared dirt road had pot holes all over!! (Deep enough to rearrange your intestines)

2. Went into the house, picked up the cash, locked the door behind me.. then realised that I had left HIS keys behind!! Had to use his keys as Kel kept forgetting to make a spare house key for me. (It's been 10 years)
Uttering R Rated words, he had to remove the bedroom screen window, push up the window, while precariously stepping on a pet cage, he hauled his A** (I can say that word too) through the window and with a few &%%$, dragged the curtain and in so doing, pulled the rod off the wall and ungraciously landed on the bed!

(The reason for going to the beach.. about an hour's journey is that, the Viking dealer had offered to upgrade the Emerald 203 to a Sapphire for little to nothing, since I had problems with it.)

3. We're almost at the store when I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten the extension quilting table !!!
Oh Sistahs, I'm glad you didn't come along with us.
I had to apologize again.. (snickering silently) and he wanted to turn around until I told him I'll mail that darn table. (We women think outside the box, don't we?)
I am so proud of him that he could speak another foreign language, though I'm sure it's not a recognised language.. (I don't anyway)
Poor man was frazzled went he walked into the store.

Little ole me can cause so much trouble to a 6' 4" DH!!

Well, I found out I don't have a broken finger, I have 2 broken fingers. Both top knuckles on the index and middle finger are broken. I have to wear splints till the 13th of April, then another x-ray to see if they heal properly! UGHHH!
This day has to be good for someone out there!

well my cousin died on saturday. He had ALS for 3 yrs. its such a horrific ending for those inflicted. God got such a wonderful angel in his hands. I just find it hard to not be around my family at this time.
Lucy has arthritis and is taking meds. She woke to a bad limp. Doesn't stop her from jumping up on the table and eating your supper !!
savannah stayed home sick.
austin got his red belt in karate tonight. very proud of him.
baseball starts next week
i have 8 houses to clean this week and 6 next.
still potting up stuff in GH.

We are on flat ground like in the valley, and there is a levee behind us. I saw the river today for the first time since it started raining. Oh my gosh, it did overflow into the motorcross track and soccer fields. And of course I didn't have my camera with me :(

thank you for the kind words for my cousin. We were not close. i have not seen him in over 10 yrs but he was a good DH and father.
austin slept with his belt last night and is carrying it around today LOL
savannah is ok, i think she just needed to poop ? she is terrified of diarreah. i have to hold her hand and i don't think she liked to do that at school LOL poor thing.
can't rest until Nov . :) i go 65 mph this time of year and then in nov i have not much to do then get bored.

I am hoping that the price of gas comes down before reunion at Judy's. If it goes any higher than what it is now we won't be making the the trip. My mom heard that it was to be up to $5.00 by summer time. If we were going to be just riding the motorcycle not a prob, but we have to bring Harlee with us so we have to drive 4 runner and it is a gas hog. I am so bummed :( After Judy's we were going onto KY to Harley drags and to see Doug's stepkids.

Yeah, we heard the same thing, with this fight in Libya now! Doesn't sound good for gas prices!

You are so right about the high cost of gas creeping up and will dampen our travel plans. Used to be only $10 round trip to the beach with our truck, and now it's $15. Sigh.. soon we'll just have to pack some food if we decide to shop at the beach :(
When the time comes, you never know the gas might be back to under $2. Can you imagine the cost of air fare if it doesn't come down?

Well if I may be so bold to ask for some heavy duty prayers right now
I was put on a special ed bus this morning and then after dropping at the grade school headed out to go get the other kids and got pulled over being told I was speeding yet the speedometer did not say that. I was nice and took the ticket as I still had to finish the route
I got in told the shop super about it and he asked if the speedometer got stuck or quit I told him I didn't' know I didn't think i was 9 over the limit as it didn't say that
he then informed me that on that bus it sticks and also quits working ..so long story short they say i was speeding in a school zone so I lost my job
I'm sure it makes the witches happy as they are fire hungry
the boss was like he would give me a great reference for another job and i could go to schools around here and I said no budget crunch no one is hiring.
so I cleaned out my stuff and came home.

Guess I will have time to finish my moms quilt in time now for sure

but I need some heavy duty prayers as the bills still want to get paid and short of giving them my limbs and blood I wont have it

oh he did say that he was going to see what the results were on the bus not working properly for me to have my job back but even so if I get it back I am going to be looking for another place

geeeeeeeze - guilty without proof, eh? Phyllis, that's just Wrong. They should investigate first, fire second!

well, our hot tub is "toast". Seems when my DH left the hot tub without being reset after the breaker tripped, it froze some pipes and they burst. In order to fix the pipes, it would be inexpensive, but as the access door where it burst is on an enclosed side, we'd have to wait for a long warm spell for the hot tub to un-thaw from the ground and they'd move it to access the inside. That would be a couple of months, at least (June).
My DH had the service company call me to convince me to buy a new one for $5,500 ($1,500 off the full price). It's a "plain Jane" one, and brand new.
Tell me - where are we going to pull $5,500 from? Pocket change?!?! I think NOT.
I told my DH to find $10,000 by the end of the month (both just as likely, eh?) LOL

I know when one door closes another one opens and the hurt right now makes it hard to see that way but inside I know it is true and prayer changes things

Yeah I know the shop super called the police station for me cause I was so upset and asked them about the coding on the ticket cause it says N by school zone and yet above it has speeding - sz-14 then something and the guy told him that was a code they use to put things in the computer if it has the N down by school zone then no i was not speeding in the school zone.

Someone else told me that since it is faulty equipment on the bus then I can "fight the ticket" and get it dropped but we will see

I was a team leader wtih drivers under me and I can not expect them to do as I say if I don't that is a bad example let alone just wrong

As most of you know from past posts there has been alot of junk going on with several in the office not liking me cause I don't play the games or brown nose.

Gas here is $3.43 per gallon. When I was in Michigan last week, it was $3.58.

Ours went from $3.39 a couple weeks ago down to 3.29 now. odd

i have a diesel truck and its fuel is 3.99. :( 25 gal tank. yikes !

gas around here is hold so far around 3.36-3.39 but still that is alot to pay.

DH and I talked last night and he said not to just pay it cause with the jury duty he has done alot of times they get lower fine or thrown out.
The shop super is having the bus checked out by the big shop they use for warranty work this morning and already gave the boss man papers showing this bus has problems with the speedometer as does about 24 other buses there.
so they will find out today that it si the problem
and it is illeagal to drive a bus without a working speedometer.

Cindy I'm having the same problem with the RU at Judy's, but I might fly so I don't know, usually when oil goes up so does everything else, including plane tickets, it all depends upon if Dave has a job or not. We're at $3.38 a gallon. I'm SO glad I bought my Corolla!!!

Yea Crissy I am really bummed because we were going for sure. We had talked it over we have started saving money and paying up c/c to be able to take this trip. But then to it will alos depend on if we are still together or not. Doug has become a very bitter unhappy person. He is constantly yelling at Harlee. Does nothing but sleep on and off allday long, when he is awake he is playing his game on Facebook. The dirty dishes pile up in the sink until we have no clean dishes at all, he has only cooked one decent meal since I've had my hand surgery, most of the time it's either sandwhich or pop in the mico meals. I can do some things but not alot. I am beginign to get really upset with him and have been looking at apartments to rent. I'm not going to move back to my mom's again. I will live by myself this time where I can be my own boss. And plus I will be taking Harlee with me.

Sorry to rant like this but I needed to get it off my chest

Cindy that sounds like he's got himself in a bout of depression. I'm sure the weather isn't helping. I go through that with Dave every winter, he suffers from SAD and it frustrates me because in my opinion winter happens...get over it LOL
