not if it's a dinosaurus egg, it would be perfect for that, anyway my GD go ready for school in record time, she keep checking the sand flowing, it was so cute to watch her
Retta, is it still snowing, that's a very pretty Pix, so far this morning it's only cold, no snow yet, it will be great when we all have nice warm weather

Elizabeth

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

~knocking on wood~ ..... no snow in our forecast. Is going to be in the low 60's all week. Got down to 36* yesterday morning, but no freezing forecast. Of course, I don't trust anything until Easter ...... and sometimes I wait until May Day. Hard to do, but I don't want to jump the gun and lose them.

Council Bluffs, IA

no,its stopped for now but they say more tomarrow,90%.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Lordy, Girl. It is beautiful and I'd love to meet you but You can come see me. Come on down. It would freeze my flowers. You be careful in that stuff.

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Just checking in, everyone. I haven't been on the puter much lately :o(. Everyone's pics are great.Elizabeth, great looking seedlings!
Last week was beautiful here, but this week in a different story...just like Elizabeth said. It was 74 one day and we had snow flurries the next...crazy weather!!! But it won't be long now! The bulbs and some of the perennials are popping up in the yard. The brugs, lantana, etc, in the basement are showing signs of life, even tho they are still in winter storage.
Retta, I plan on sending your cuttings out the first week in April, weather permiting.Crit did you want to send postage for a box of cuttings too?Just let me know.
Elizabeth, that is one very cool hr. glass....guess it would be an hour and 1/2 glass...lol
Dee

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Retta, I have started some Charles Grimaldi for you.. hang tight and keep wishing for Spring..

Hamilton, OH

Good Morning Everyone
Karen, you would get such a kick out of Maria, I let her play her dsi, I turned the glass over, I told her when it's done, times up on her game, I am amazed how well that worked, it's great to see you
Charlene, I know it's so much warmer in Ga. How's your GH working for you? I bet you have all kinds of new life in there
Debra, you're such a sweetheart, making sure everyone has Brugs, in another 2 weeks, I hope the weather acts right so I can start putting mine in the ground
Dee, I can cancel the APB, where on earth have you been? you have be missed, how's your enclosed porch working?
I have Brugs in mine, please don't stay away so long
Retta, it's hard to believe, there's only 5 more days of march, Yippee, my favorite months are April, May & June, not too cold & not to hot, now that's my kind of weather
Elizabeth

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Elizabeth, I was planning on bringing the brugs up onto the enclosed front porch, but I want to get it painted first, and that hasn't got done yet. I'm hoping the next warm spell. I have the paint and am ready to go, but if it's not one thing, it's another.
The sunporch room is full up, and I have moved seedlings and plants into two other rooms in the house.I'll sure be glad, when I can get everything outside, and I know everyone else here will be,too. Our weather forecast says it's gonna be cold most of this week.As low as 29-30 at night, then it should warm back up.
I'm glad you girls have my back(the APB)...lol I have been having problems with my new thyroid medicine. I have been on high doses of pure thyroid for many years, because my thyroid is almost non-funtional and they decided to stop making it I guess, because the local pharmacies, and my mail order supplier, just couldn't get it. So the dr. had to change me back to synthroid which I took many years ago.Ever since, my levels have been really low, and they are gradually bringing it back up, but in the mean time, I am not a ball of fire. :o(( It's a slow process, and this is not a great time of year to have the lazies.

Dee

Charlene, I just knew you would have a bunch of things in your GH, I will start using mine just for transition when we do have warmer weather, I don't like paying the city any more than we have to, to heat the house

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Debra, that sounds like me .I go to the plant room just to admire the plants and straighten up, and I find somthing that needs done, transplanting, etc, and end up more things spread out than I had to start with.
Here is a pic of some of my desert rose seedlings that I recently transplanted. I have really enjoyed watching these grow the past couple months. What are those beautiful burgundy foliage plants toward the middle of your pic?, and the onein the left rear, with blooms coming on? They all look great!

so far,so good with the ones that debra sent.looks like cherub is getting new growth, the little one is doing nicely in the window.
remember the pic i showed you all,of the angel wing begonia, that i posted last fall.
well i also cut it back about the same time, and i sent one to charleen, well you won't believe it,but it's almost to the ceiling.going to have to set it on the floor.here is the pic.

Yea, Elizabeth!! Those windows look great and I know you have been wanting them for a while.I love your fireplace...very pretty! And you will never believe it, but I also have an old sewing machine base that I put a small tabletop on, and I use it as a plant stand too. Great minds think alike!
Debrah, your hibiscus' are so pretty! I guess it was the Caladiums that I was asking about. I thought they might be caladiums, but I wasn't sure.I love what they are doing with caladium breeding now a days.
Rhetta, you have some very happy looking plants there. That is one big begonia!
Charleen since your yard will be popping before the rest of ours, you have to keep us entertained with some pics!!
Elizabeth, this is the first time that I have had desert roses. They were easy to grow from seed. I just hope I can keep them going!
Dee

Hamilton, OH

Retta, very nice plants you have there, that is a big Begonia, you gotta love those windows
Dee, you remember the storm windows on the back porch, Thank goodness, they're gone, it's much easier to heat now, with good windows, I have 5 more to get done, then the whole house is done, even the attic, believe it or not, our utitility
bill was $50.00 cheaper this month, even with the cold weather, we had the blown in insulation installed, it was $3800.00
but paying it $380.00 a month it will be payed off in 9 more payments, so we don't have to pay interest, Yippee I like that
Yes great minds do think alike, I also have one in the basement, with the same kind of marble

Elizabeth

Council Bluffs, IA

well i'm going to have to trim back the plant, then find someone who wants a piece.i already have a few of them already and growing real good.
look out debra, you might get one.going to send you a coleus any way,so i might as well add another along with your bag holder.
