(- Sorry Jo, just one more pic, I told Victor I'd take this one.. ☺ )
- here's the oldest one @ 27yrs, just took it out the day before yesterday so it could get the spring rain, it's staying outside for now unless the temps drop drastically overnight into the 30's..
I remember the year because I made it a week before my DW ended up in the hospital for an inflamed disk. (She's much better now just has to be careful...)
BTW: I didn't take the pic yesterday because it was raining all day, and I didn't want to get wet.. lol!
(- casual, lazy, pic I took today..)
Spring growth
thats beautiful
Thank you,
.. It needs a trim on the top, I have to give it a haircut before it gets too warm. lol!
Stunning, WC! Thank you.
very nice WC
I also have one of those junipers - have not trimmed it since getting it - soon though

(With regard to bonsai.)
- It's also a perpetual work in progress.. lol!!
Thanks! you should see the cascade one I made, It's got a 3 foot spread now,
(I'll post that one on another thread and leave this one alone so everyone can go back to the new one.. lol!)
Love to see the bonsai.....very artistic.
love that WC.. very cool
Thanks, I took it with me to Florida & Calif when I lived there, it's a well traveled bonsai. (lol)
so lovely
Thanks, they make me smile. :)
I have a couple from the prior owner.. they are cute little guys
They've taken over my front yard!!!!
Pretty blooms this morning! Are the reticulatas good for just one year? I had KH but it didn't show up this year.
mine have been in for 2 years
Second year for my reticula, & they look like they're spreading.....
Well then, maybe something is snacking on them. The crocus and species tulips seem to be a favorite for an animal with suspiciously long ears. Perhaps the Iris round out their food groups.
This thread was getting really long. Made a new one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1173596/
Great pics, everyone!
Karen
thanks
