Gross! Like tripe or chicken feet
Does anyone pronounce caramel as 'carmel'??
Coffee Break #55 More rain coming!!
I say carmel...taking a poll?
Yes!
I say carmel.
one of my co-workers loves LOVES tripe... the Chinese buffet we hit once in while has an American table.. and has it.. he must have eaten 3 plates full... I couldn't even look at him... and convinced the place to make him a plate to go for his wife
Ewwww!
Never tried it.
I say 'carmel'. They probably didn't have many vegetables either, county Kerry in the 19th century. We all are spoiled.
When I think about the way I say it, I don't know how I say it...I'll have to write it down and when I see the word in the morning I'll let ya know
My dad ate pig's feet, you know in that jelly stuff...ewwwwww
Pigs feet are awsome. I love 'em except they're costly now so I don't get them too often. I say "carmel". Can't go the tripe or haggus though, or pig/calf brains!!!

Don't do tripe or pig feet but I do eat hog-head cheese. Of course for the 1st 30 years of my life I did not know it was called that.
I don't eat strange meat
I say carmel cashew ice cream, but caramel sauce...
My mom made pigs feet in the pressure cooker, I had to eat that for food.
... there's no way I'm eating pigs feet again.
'Caramel' of course!
Trying to figure out if it's a regional thing. I always say caramel.
Care a mel, from central MD born and raised
Worst thing Dad 'made' me eat was calf brains- guess I got off lucky!
Carmel....probably regional....my DH ate sweetbreads if he found them in a restaurant....I wouldn't cook such stuff.....never cooked fish or liver, either!
What about brains, or feet, or tripe, with CARMEL?!! ^_^
Such talented headline writers out there.

ROTFL
I guess I pronounce it the way it's labelled, I saw the note I left and said it the way it was written...guess I just have to leave a picture of it out.
Victor - where the hell do you find this stuff!!!!!!!
It finds me!
It has a special line to your computer? Don't believe it. My dad would order sweetbreds at a restrauant. Mom never cooked them even during WW II when I am sure they wouldn't have been rationed.
caramel here
maybe regional, I don't think I started saying caramel until my later years
Does all that stuff taste like chicken? I'll stick to the carmel!
I don't like chicken.......so I'm sure that I wouldn't like that!
