Coffee Break #55 More rain coming!!

Thomaston, CT

Oh, what a sweetie pie! Think he'll be spoiled, Pixie? We have both turkey vultures & black vultures here.....the blacks are smaller, keep the feathers on their heads, & eat living things.....

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

ooohhh I forgot to comment about the little angel!!!..... what a sweetie pie!!!

My nephew and his wife found out today they are having a girl

Thomaston, CT

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

How adorable! Congrats on the new heartbreaker!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks everyone, he sure is sweet, but so tiny! All this hoopla they put poor Tiffany through and she has this peanut of a child...her smallest one yet!

I just told her Mommy was at the hospital and Charlie would be born soon.

Congrats, Memere!!! He is a bundle of joy. Hopefully she'll still have a smile on her face when he starts getting into her things. :)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yeah, I don't see her quite as excited about him after a few nights of him waking her in the middle of the night.

Thomaston, CT

Both of my granddaughters gang up on their brother, & take things away from him....Hayden rationalizes by saying he's too young to have such small objects....going to be a politician, I guess.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Interesting that we are now telling Americans to move four times further away from the nuke plants as Japan is telling its citizens to.

They make it way too confusing for a nimwit like me! I say just sand, concrete them and put them in a sarcofagus.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Too early for that. They do that once the pressure is gone.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

This is what I almost fell into last week. Duh!!!

That can ruin your whole day.
-Pretty though..

Thomaston, CT

That water sure looks cold!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

That would have been a fun ride

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Scary, and we always hear about deaths from falling into ravines every year.
I'll never forget the time I was horsing around on a 100 foot cliff, DH was panicking, and I was laughing, til we walked to the bottom of the cliff and I looked up, had no idea how close I was to the edge. Had nightmares for awhile after that.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I was terrified for that fraction of a second.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

My heart rate just went up reading that.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Yikes Victor!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

That a very swollen angry river, what ever made you even consider going near it? Men!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No - there were no men there that attracted me. ^_^

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Very funny!
I just realized that post above sounds just like my Mother! YIKES!!!!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Memere!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oui

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Happy St. Pat's Day!!

Thomaston, CT

Irish for today! Yes, Pixie, I find myself being my mother....weird!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Got my green on! Corned beef in crockpot

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

I've got my green on too! I'm about to put the corned beef into the crockpot.

South Hamilton, MA

I don't have my green sweater on at the moment & HATE corned beef. My grandfather who was Irish remembered happily eating Calves' head & pluck. I don't think I would like that either as 'pluck' is windpipe.

I thought I ate weird stuff with my parents. Some I would still eat, some I would not unless I was starving to death.

Thomaston, CT

Oh, I would quickly become a vegetarian!

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Gross!
