Clear and 38.
cloudy 33°
I am in Vt. The Snow in the front of the house on the south side is still above the window sills. DH is up skiing. Sun just came out. Road is a muddy, but clear. Baker Brook is still raging from the big melt. I just came back from walking the dogs, wearing no coat or gloves, just a light fleece, so I know it is warm. Patches of ground appearing on the slopes. No sign of bulbs yet in the few bare spots. Lots of Crocus up in Nantucket according to DH, but I have been away for more than a week, sad to miss the first ones. I will see them on Weds. Patti
43° with a 12 mph wind making it feel like 38, cloudy.
Dropping to 29° here for tonight.
upper 30's, a little bit of a slushy day skiing
high was 44° with wind chill making in 6 degrees colder....cloudy all day...guess they call it "blustery"
doing my best RD.. it is not easy though.. every flooded town I drive by at work.. just saddens me .. feel so bad for those people
Today in Vt. No flooding, but lots of water in the Brook. NJ is a mess and then there is Japan.
Beyond comprehension. My cousin and his Japanese wife had plans to go for an extended time to Japan this month for most of a year as they are now retired. They can't go as government doesn't need tourist.even though they own an apartment in Tokyo. Her family is safe, but their niece had to climb 36 floors with her small children after it was over to find everything on the floor. But they are safe, as is her 90 something year old mom. Patti
some nice looking rock in that brook!
Wha, You better believe it. Want some? You are invited, but it is down a steep slope. Hard to haul, though that most likely wouldn't phase you. Patti
20s all day. Supposed to get a couple days of 40s & 50s. Can't wait!
Our high was 46, and we got to try out the toys we got at the flower and garden show: That new augur makes holes better than anything; and the sharp, sharp shovel just cuts through roots like nobody's business.
Moved about 5-6 peonies to locations to make them happier and found that they have grown beautifully but were probably too deep. Only time will tell.
Put the wetlands irises in a spot I think will probably be damp enough, and now they have time to grow and bloom. More waiting for time to tell.
Using the augur to plant bulbs and such is better than I had imagined. These arthritic hands are now in a better place. Not cold enough to chill the spirit.
27 now going to 51
16 °F going up to 46.....now thats a hike!
woo hoo!!

Going up to 45° today with increasing clouds. Rain for tonight ½ to 1" acc. expected, low for tonight at 36°.
can add river front and any surrounding areas in north jersey
Jezz..
I would move, a place that floods constantly is unhealthy, nothing that is there is permanent, ..everything is shifting and dissolving with the water. - and insurance rates must be through the roof.
Sorry about the flooding. We can just hope that the water level goes down quickly.
same story put the cheap houses where it's not proper.. let the poor people deal with it
That's messed up.. They need some serious Fed regulation on that.
Clear and 28. Going up to upper 40's. Rain tomorrow but Th and Fr look great.
Very frosty morning, but should rise to mid 40s.....sorry that things aren't improving, Allison.....glad our cousin's family is safe, Patti....Bill noticed the rocks....I saw mud and a dog....Lord, I know what that's like!
