JB ~ CONGRATULATIONS!!♥♥♥
You are a winner in my book! (And I think everyone here agrees.) What can we do to help you to relax? Have you tried meditation? It is free and no side effects.
I like your idea - Pughbear's Pampered Perennials!
Dave ~ What do you think of that name for your business? I agree with Jeanette. Please share what you use to get your plants off to a good start. Do you use a lot of nutrients for seed-starting as well? I have been told by some that the seeds have all they need to get started, but I suppose we need to know what the needs of everything we grow, after they germinate. Do you have a formula for everything you grow, or do you tailor them to each plants specific needs? I know that you grow a wide range of plants, so that is why all the questions....
Jeanette ~ Can you buy or borrow a decent ladder for your painting, or hire it done? We don't want to learn that you have fallen. Falling isn't fun. I have had my share of falls, and I would not want anyone to have any share of falls.
Let us know how well that seed-starting system works for you. Do you need any seeds?
Lee ~ Are you starting any seeds inside? Spring WILL come, eventually. Hope you are warm. Yes - black ice is VERY annoying! I never even heard of it until I moved up here in 1987, as I lived in SoCA for most of my life. Green ice - very funny! Maybe blue ice?
Katie ~ What is an arhat? I have never heard of them. Is it like a squash? I know in Mexico they grow gourds to make maracas. I had some when I was little. We are all glad that you are resting and made it home safely. It seems as though the border crossing was the most stressful part of your trip, but you are home now.
Dawn ~ Are you starting anything from seed?
Sharon ~ Where are you? Hope you are OK!
My photography skills certainly need improvement....do any of you have any pictures to share?
(There is a hellebore under there somewhere...)
Plant Propagation part XXIIX based on my own experience
good .... afternoon????
Jb I know you have something to take to calm you down so take it. sometimes chocholate helps but i am afraid you are too far intrenched to have just chocholate unless its a "special" brownie...lol
Jeanette:
I use miricle grow moisture controll potting soil with the crystals and built in 60 - 90 day slow release fertilizer. I tried others and they just don't work like the miricle grow does. Down in florida I found a few bags of "sam's choice" potting soil I liked but miricle grow is the way for me.
ok supplaments, I use the fulvic acid/kelp mix along with Pirahana and Terantula from discount advanced nutrients. the fulvic kelp mix company is on vacation for an undisclosed period of time so i will be switching to the following
Nirvana
http://www.discountadvancednutrients.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=42then I will add in kelp and the 2 other products
and mix in the pirrahana and terantula into a slurry which I run through the hose and water everyone with. I also use a foliar feed I found last summer well its both a soil and foliar feed which makes it a great fertilizer. I found it at lesco. they are a national chain and should be everywhere so buying from them should be easy. Its a 25# pail that is 20-20-20 micro sprayable fertilizer for turfgrass and ornamentals.
ok now cost. I do spend a bit of money on my nutrients but i believe it helps. I use a hose siphon injector that pulls and mixed 15 to 1 ratio.
OK NOW ....READ THIS PART 3 TIMES NO LESS!!!!!! YOU MUST BE CAREFULL WHEN USING FERTILIZERS ESPECIALLY WHEN INJECTING (MIXING WITH WATER TO GO RIGHT TO THE PLANTS) YOU ARE USING A STRON FORMULA THAT CAN AND WILL BURN IF OVER DONE.
Ferilizers are basically a salt and will burn up the plants. I have seen it done and its tough to fix once the burn has happened. if you burn the plant as I call it you waste the roots basically fry them so they have no chance to recover.
What happens when you have a plant that looses its roots????? anyone ?????/
yep the plant will die. so what ever you do please test it before you use it. I have been working with fertilizers for many years and I still don't know it all but I understand it.
Basically what I do is mix my 3 special formula's with the 20-20-20 (mith micro nutrients) into a gallon jug and then water the nursery. I use the 20-20-20 more than the other 3 because I use the 3 specialty mixes on cuttings to get them going. It also helps for seeds and seedlings. I did try to find it online but was unable to do so. anyone who wants help finding a specialty fertilizer foliar feed type please dmail me and I will try to help you locate a source. personally In most of the situations the fulvic, perrahna, terantula from D.A.N. should be about all you need along with some osmocote (applied every 3 to 6 months - osmocote)
I hope this answers your question jeanette.
great news Katie. its time for everyone to start sprouting for you. we are a few weeks behind you.
well not much else to say... have a great day
Dave
Please let me know if the above made sense as today is not a good day
Feel better, Dave! Prayers and good wishes are with you. ♥
Thank you Dave. I know it was a real strain for you to send that to me and I really appreciate it. Will do some research on my own also and let you know what I end up with.
You take a break.
JB, we expect to be hearing from you soon.
Yes, Dave, it all made sense.
The arhat is a very sweet fruit which is used in Chinese medicine. If you Google it there is interesting information on it. I read about it at Horizon Herbs and it looked like it might do well here so I'm trying it. My mission here is to increase the number of food plants that are grown in this area. I have Malabar spinach that is hanging in and has naturalized itself in places. I visited neighbor Dana this morning and she has a couple of them going from seeds I gave her. Since diabetes is a problem here and in so many other places, the arhat would be an excellent fruit to have. My friend Jenny in Hawaii sends me care packages of tropical fruits to try here.
What I remember when starting seeds is that while they have enough nutrients to sustain them while germinating, once they have germinated they can be fed with about half (or less) of the amount recommended for a regular size plant.
JB, relax, OK?
My legs are too sore for me to do much more today. I sure am enjoying our spring weather though. Sheer bliss.
hugs, katie
When you feel like answering me Dave, are the piranaha and terantula liquids or powders? The containers look like liquids. I am trying to find out what they charge for shipping. I might be able to find them closer to home?
WELL, YOU ARE STUCK WITH ME FOR AWHILE AT LEAST........My new cardiologist looked at all my tests that I have completed, all the meds I am taking and said, as long as I feel good, we will just keep in touch and take the meds I am already taking. She said she sees no reason to stress me out to take tests that are not really necessary. My Echo was almost normal except for a "slight leaky valve, due to age" and the section where the left bundle branch is. It showed everything else normal. Can you image, six months of worry and stress and now they tell me it is normal. Going out to dinner. Thanks for all the wonderful prayers and support. Katie, hugs back at ya. Later, JB
YAAAAAA.
kb
I knew it all along, but unless I show you my degrees you won't believe me!!!
Whew!! Wonderful news Witchamajig. Now maybe you won't be so crotchity!! LOL, how do you like that spelling. Guess you can't do much about that age thing. LOL If you weren't so cranky you wouldn't be around so long. That keeps the old heart ticking. You can thank me for that. LOL
So glad for you and all the rest of us.
edited to add, Dave, I can't find anywhere locally that sells it. What size is that? The smallest? It is pretty expensive and then they tack on $8 for each item s/h. That would bring it up to almost $100 for 3 items. I don't know how I could justify that. I am not selling like you are. Maybe I will check ebay.

See JB, I told you. I know...it was the chocolate!!!! I am so glad for you, now you can relax a bit and do your gardening. Well...think about it anyway. Love ya
Lee
Yeah JB, I am so happy. Well tha is just great. Business will be booming now.
I am starting seeds. Petunias, dianthus, speaking of comments I need to add a good comment for Dave too, for the dianthus seeds he sent me. Sorry Dave, I am absent minded. I have some lettuce, hyacynth beans, poppies, peas, broccoli, gaillardia. I can't think of anything else off hand, but that is for WS. I have spread some seeds in a few places just to see if they would make it, even with the nights so low. I have to wait for the bulk of the in ground sowing. Can't wait to put my clock back this weekend. I just came in from watering and it was almost dark when I came in. It is dark now. What do you guys have going? I just put mine out on my shaded porch. They look fine and have been outside for three nights. I don't know if I should put my Brugs out in the day and bring them in in the night. I am afraid to do anything wrong with them.
Mexican cops are di*K Heads.
Well JB, that is great news.
I am here, just working myself to death to try and get the landscape back into shape for the summer. March is always my busiest month. Temp today was 73 and beautiful. Tomorrow, more of the same. I am planting tomato plants tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be last day for my workers. I have about 1/3 of the plants out of garage garden and tomorrow I should have everything heavy moved to its spot. I can finish from there.
I have a doctor's appointment Friday. Just an appointment to get my meds prescriptions and blood test. I take meds for depression and anxiety. That is all I take.
Vern appears to be doing better. The balance rehab seems to be helping him, at least mentally.
I will return back to normal soon. Well at least as close to normal as I am ever.
Evelyn, the plant you sent is putting out blue flowers. Going in the ground tomorrow.
I have to get all the plants that are dug, separated and labeled and into boxes and in the mail. Should only take one day.
Later friends. Sharon.
Mornin everyone:
I am coming out of a sleeping pill enduced fog this am so please bear with me:
Yes those things are expensive and I only use them in the ealy spring/late winter when I am starting seeds. Most of the time I just water the soil with it once and then switch over to the foliar/liquid stuff. My advise for the economy minded would be to find a substitute with as many microbial critters in the mix as possible and use that. currently I am out of pirahanna and have been all winter so all I use is the kelp/fulvic powder along with the terantula in the water mix. let me do some digging to see what else is out there so that its a bit more garden dollar friendly.
The dr eggy's fulvic liquid is a substitute for the powder I used to get out of canada. they are closed for vacation (something like 6 months) traveling asia.... I truely believe that a substitute would work just as well.
tomorrow we are suposed to be in the 70's so its a red banner day for dave.....
brb
Dave
Afternoon gang:
Just finished helping Theresa clean and now I have some other things that must be done. Just had to stop in and say hello and tell you how great it is to have that burden lifted from my shoulders. I still must deal with the anxiety and I will do that, but the biggest reason for the anxiety is now on the back burner. I am so looking forward to Spring and plants and all the fun that goes with the good weather.
The weather today is terrible. The wind and rain are blowing like crazy and there are flood warnings all up and down the coast. We are very fortunate here to be out of the flood zone.
The worst is yet to come this afternoon and tonight when we are to get 3 to 4 inches of rain.
Oh well, April showers bring May flowers and of course this is only March, but who knows anymore what the Months are doing.
I will be back later. Hugs. and thanks again for all your well wishes. I could not have done this without you all. JB
Ok I have just about made my mind up to do a mix myself and sell it at cost to everyone here who wants to try the mix. Its pretty easy to find the ingredients of the mixes. The only thing I am unsure of is on the lable they talk about how many michrobial micharhiza are in each product (terantula and pirrahana) so it might come down to using all 3 or a combo as each person decideds whats best for them selves.
I don't really know at the moment and it will take me some time time to get it all done as I need to get soem sales in before I can buy the raw product to mix.
Dave
JB congrats on the good report. I am so relieved that you are past all that. now you can get down to the impotant stuff... growing plants and cut flowers. I did find some seed for broom corn... please let me know if you need the link ;P~~~
LOL
Dave
anyone interested in my mix please dmail me so I can get a list of who is going to want some of it to try.
if you want a packaged blend thats all nice and neat I would try this
http://cgi.ebay.com/Kelp-Fulvic-Humic-Amino-Acid-Water-Soluble-Powder-1-lb-/350273069436?pt=Fertilizer_Soil_Amendments&hash=item518de6e17c
Personally I would rather evryone try the above mix as what I will be doing is an experament at best and I would hate to see someones prize plant burned to a crisp just because I said try it. The product seems to have everything the mix I was going to try to do in it with field tests "so they say" and its like 1 tablesppon per gallon of water. the only thing I dont see within it is michorhyza. look over their products to see what you might like but so far I am not finalized my choice as I still have enough the original products to keep me happy for the rest of the year "I think" anyhoo there is the mis shapen unrefined thoughts of a mad man ok slightly twisted
Dave
I will say this and I hope its the last one on my seed starting but we all know I can never keep my big mouth closed for very long so it might reappear maybe, possibly.... I am going to stick with my terantuals for my seedlings as I love the way it helps the soil and roots. "If it works Don't fix it"
I am planning to do a package called your own home tea factory. its going to be a group of plants for making your own tea at home. I think it will be a big hit. I know my hosta of the year collection and the dwarf hosta collection always sells. I think I am not the only one interested in haveing their own custom blend of herbal tea. It allows us to controll what the plants are exposed to and what we like in the mix. Just an idea.
jb how much does the store cost to set up and run?
Please excuse my ignorance but I don't see where you can set up a company on here. or do I just create a new user?
Hey Pugh, I do not remember how it did it. I wonder if I joined Plant Scout first. That is $100 a year. I thought I just listed my things to sell. I am sorry I can not remember. Do you have your own website? I started with that. Maybe that is the way you should go, then hook up with DG MarketPlace for more trafficl Not sure. Let me try and remember. I have been so busy I apologize. I will try and remember how I did it. I started with my Jbsbirsdsandmore website I think and then I started to sell on DG and eventually I joined Plant Scout. But I am not sure where I went to do the selling. I will get back to you tomorrow if all goes well. I was two days behind on NJ Horsepark memorials and that is what I did today besides cleaning, laundry and recovering from the hospital crap. I will talk tomorrow. JB
I could add my own water soluble Mychorrizae. But, what would you use it for Dave,? Seedlings? You don't want fertilizer on seeds. Maybe a weak mix for seedlings. He is very specific about not using too much.
Why wouldn't he start with places like Cubits, 2 grow, what was it? I might go with the Tarantula I found in ebay but it is $12 for .71 oz. Now Dave, how much would I use? and how much is .71 oz? LOL
Dave, I am trying to remember what I did to begin seriously selling on MarketPlace. I know I went into the MarketPlace and looked at the tutorial. Set up my items for sale and I joined Plant Scout I think in 2009. That is when things really began to move. If you have a website, you can connect the two. You have a discussion group for plant scout people only and they send you a weekly statement as to how many people actually visit your site and are they new people. I found the investment worth it. As I said I have a website also.
Just had another person sign up today and order five Maid of Orleans Jasmine. I am going to send him an invoice and I can almost guarantee he will not respond. I hate these kind. We will see.
I hope and pray all of you in California, if any of you are close to the ocean, stay safe. Later. JB
Wonder how far inland it will go??
I just had one of those "senior moments." I was going to town mostly to get money when a man who seels fish showed up with his wife (whom I've known for years) and his their adorable son. I got money for the fish, a stuffed animal for the little boy and went to town- leaving my purse with my ATM card at my house!! I was not please with myself but I did some other errands and am home safe.
Saw an American car parked both illegally and dangerously. I spoke to the woman who was in the passanger seat and got a patronizing "thank you." Many Americans assume that traffic laws are the same in Mexico as they are in the States. They aren't.
I planted the second tangerine tree this morning. I have almost no stamina and find that very frustrating . I move a bcket of dirt and it takes me several minutes to catch my breath.
My jasmine is blooming. The tangerine which I brought with me when I moved here is loaded with blossoms and has lots of shiney new growth on it.
Guess I will read for a while and see if my legs recover enough for me to do some work or if I just fall asleep again.
Am tracking the weather and hoping Hawaii and Ca. don't get hit too hard.
katie
Good afternoon everyone:
JB: I don't have a web site as of yet. I guess its one of those unknown things where once you do it its no big deal. as computer savae' as I like to think I am you would think I would have one by now. I really need to find someone to set it up for me as my brain is a bit fuzzy and I don't want to mess up and waste a lot of money doing it. I am checking with my niece i think one of her friends is doing some computer stuff at tech. computer animation. it would be cool if I could get some animated stuff on a web page.
I spent a couple of hours outside today as its beautiful like 70 degrees and very windy. Katie I know the feeling its all I can do to get through the nursery watering everyone by hand. did manage to get all the grass cut back.
I figuired out I really did a big booboo last summer. I had these grand plans to do a bunch of woody ornamental cuttings so I bought some stock plants in. I have decided to go another direction in my operation so now i have like 30 3 gallon plants I have to maintain. I think I am going to keep them to see what happens this summer with everything. I may end up doing the cuttings and save my mistaketime will tell.
Jeanette: i use like an 1/8 of a teaspoon per gallon. yes you do want to give the seedlings a weak solution of fertilizer as they quickly run through their stored fertilizer. they store just enough to get going and survive a little while. a small dose of peters miricle grow or other fertilizer would do well. I would also look at home depot in there fertilizer section. I am sure they cary a fish emushion which will do the work of the seaweed. any additional michorhiza that can be added is a good thing. the terantula and pirahana also have benificial miro-organizums that help fight disease as well as break down the dead organic matter. I have been useing them for 3 years now and I love them. i will say most of the time in the late spring/summer i forget to use it but everyone is doing so well it just dosent really matter. I think the 2 addatives are good for helping cuttings get off on the right foot.
the outside phlox have started to show signs of growth. it looks like I lost quite a few mostly pinks. of course it happens that way with plants some colors are hardier than others. just look at the way the native plants are and then look at how tender the colors on the other end of the spectrum are. no one ever said it out and out its just an observation I made a long time ago.
so far the list of the double orange daylily's are jeanette, evelyn am i forgeting anyone? I wont be sending them out for a few weeks as I am sure everyone is still too cold to get out and plant. that and they would go through a shock being stuck in a chilly ground coming from 70 degree days.
well thats about if for today i am going to get showed off and rest a bit.
Dave
Well Dave, what do you think about .71 oz? Is it enough for one watering? LOL, somehow it makes me wonder. Is it a liquid, or a powder? Now, the mix you were talking about, is it like a combination of the piranha and tarantula? If that were the case, and if you are talking about using a small amount mixed with regular potting mix, then I would be interested. However, if it would be expected to use it straight, for potting mix, it wouldn't go very far would it? One pound?
You need to be more specific for me to understand what you mean. Guess I am having one of Katie's senior moments. LOL
Gottta start getting some seed orders in or I am not going to have any plants this year.
Jeanette:
I mix 1/8 teaspoon with a gallon of water and then water in the soil, flats and pots.
take a look at this video I recieved from one of my emails it shows grower's greenhouses pushed aside and crushed like little toys. the houses are like 30' wide and over 100 ft long.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12709850
I knew the damage was severe but not this bad. it looks like its moving for miles.
Thought I would share this with everyone
Dave
I saw that Dave and wondered what those were. How many of those 1/8th tsps do you think will be in that .71 oz? In other words, do you think it is worth the $12?
Jeanette ~ If you are interested in humic and fulvic acid, check in at your local garden center. I have some, a bottle of each and during the 2 years, I have used them in small quantities. They were not that expensive and I did not have to pay shipping. I am always looking for natural ways to enhance the plants chances, without going overboard. I add them to the kelp & fish emulshion mixture along with a drop or two of Superthrive. (That may be overkill! LOL!!) I do, however rotate them from time to time with each other during the growing season. I start with a very weak strength, as Dave suggested. I will look later, or maybe tomorrow and get the brand names if that will be of help, OK?
Well, went to the doctor today. All is well. Blood pressure 145/70. I told her I would start taking the blood pressure medicine I quit over a year ago. My pulse was 78 and she asked me why I was so calm. I told her I drove over by myself and Vern was not the driver.
My appointment was at 11am and I did not return home until 3pm. Went to three nurseries, office depot for printer ink, grocery store, yogurt shop for my yogurt (lunch), made a deposit at the bank and thrn went home.
Just bought a few ground covers to complete some hanging baskets. One worker coming tomorrow and hopefully we will get done tomorrow. It was 80 degrees here today and suppose to me the same tomorrow. The majority we are going to do tomorrow is plant. If we get completed in time, we will clean off the back patio. But that is a very large area to clean. We shall see.
Got approval from the board to spend $60,000 on 12 islands in the community. About 35% is labor. The landscape guy could not believe we got it approved. He kept selling. I wanted to put a sock in his mouth. I understand this 80 degree weather is only here for a week then we will cool down to low 70s.
The two workers cleaned the courtyard Thursday. They spent about 3 hours and did a wonderful job. Makes my back hurt just thinking how much bending and stretching they did to get it clean. Then we removed everything fro m the garage garden and placed plants where they needed to b to be planted tomorrow. Still returned a large amount, about 1/3 back into the area. Then they cleaned the rest of the garage and washed and dried the garage floor. I gave them a nice tip because they both stayed past the time their employer would pay them.
So wish me luck for tomorrow and I will check in sometime tomorrow or Sunday. Have a great day and please all of you be safe. Sharon.
I can't believe you have the energy or desire to organize the landscape decisions of your HOA and do all your own too. I need to get a B12 shot I think. I am younger than you and don't know how you do it. I am exhausted with my job and seedlings and seed starts.
I got a package today of more dianthus and Petunias for my big project of the year. I will see if I can get lots of varieties to add color in my desert. Our poppies are popping up all over early this year. The yellow ones at least. We have been in the 80s the last three days and it was hot today but after work it was suddenly overcast and windy and freezing all of a sudden.
Dave the ones you sent me are all germinating in my diaper lining in my cloner. I am so excited. THANK YOU SO MUCH! My dianthus from last year have not stopped blooming all winter, they just slowed down and don't have as many blooms in the last 6 weeks. I love the people at DG they are so generous and special to me.
I liked your humor with regards to your pulse rate sharon.
Dawn, I was born going 90 mph. I will probably die going 90 mph. Right behind or by the side of JB. But this year I realized I needed help. I usually dig up the roots myself but I did not want to take a month to get the garden back in shape.
The way I look at it is that I did not take a vacation for over 25+ years until about the last 5 years of my working. I saved money, my DH worked for me after retiring from Engineering and we were not into spending money. So now I am reaping the benefits of all that hard work and frugality. Besides, our children will just have less to spend when we are gone.
My California poppies are popping up everywhere. I just pull them up where I do not ant them. I never planted them, I think a bird did.
I will get the packages out next week, weather permitting. This rehab just took longer than it should have.
I am reviewing the bill next week and the owner and I have already discussed items that had to be redone because they were not done right. Those hours will be reduced. He speaks Spanish and I had my worker show him everything he had to re-do because they did it wrong or did not finish putting things back. When he left here he was not a happy person with a couple of his workers.
I am going to bed early because I have a big day tomorrow. Later, Sharon.
GOOD MORNING CAMPERS..... ok streach rreach for the ceiling and now bend down and touch your tippy toes....
did not sleep at all last night and I don't know why. I guess its one of tose days where i will take it easy. I had hoped to get outside and do more of those pesky spring cleaning of the flower beds.
have a great day
Dave
I am finally feeling alive again. How great is that? Yesterday I tended to my birds, replanted a few dozen plants, got an order from Logees and trans-planted them. BTW, the shipping was not good. The plants were cold and the one begonia, the tea rose that I really wanted , was broken in half when it got here. I told them not to replace it, I will just plant the other hallf, but I did tell them their packaging was not as good as usual , or else the plants got cold and brittle and broke. Two others had broken leaves, etc. On the other hand, the Post Office could have beat up the package, although there were no signs of it.
Went to town to the Bank, picked up a yummy broccoli and cheese stromboli, came home and did the memorials for the Horse Park. Each donation is thanked individually and the list of names and address sent to the family of the donors, it takes hours but I want to do it for Doc so I jsut put other things aside until it is done.
It is chilly and very windy here today. I walked this morning and minded the wind while breathing. It actually takes my breath away at times. No, it is not the walking, I have been watching that carefully to be sure I am not getting short of breath and it only happens when it is windy. Strange and I did tell the doctor about it. She said that is normal Many people have that problem.
I take liquid vitamins, I told you that. I really think it has been worth the extra money for shipping and purchasing them because I have seen a tremendous improvement in my bloodwork and even my cholesterol . I take Body Balance and True Boost and the Flexeoplus from Life Force International. I take the Fiber from Waiora. All approved by my physicians, etc. Amazing difference since I started to take them. If you feel run down, I recommend you look into the Body Balance and True Boost. The True Boost is all Vit. B supplements. The Body Balance is the multi vitamins and minerals and the Feleoplus is for muscles and arthritis.
Hopefully I will be able to give Barney a bath today. It is to go up to nearly 60. He loves bathes and needs one badly.
Need to get orders ready to ship Monday too, so off I go for now. Later. Have a good day. Hope you are all safe. JB
Hi Everyone,
I am still having some problems with my computer, so checking in is sketchy at best. It is absolutely gorgeous today, so I am determined to get outside and start a few seeds.
Took a road trip with Mom and hubby yesterday and I love to ride the back roads and see the native trees and shrubs in bloom. It was absolutely gorgeous.
Hope all you have a great day.
good morning again?
well i went and did it. I finally got all the hosta's I have listed on the marketplace now if I can just get a few sales. so now I am wondering do I take a mid morning nap since i failed to sleep lastnight. I layed there in the dark and closed my eyes but it was like sleep said nope not gonna happen. I think i will try to go outside and do a few things.
please check out the hosta selection I have. there are 10 of the hosta of the year winners which seem to sell quite well as well as the dwarfs (little hosta's for the politically correct)
well I shall catch up a bit l8ter
Dave
Gotta tell you if you know of anyone who has shade gardens etc. they need to take a look at Dave's hostas. They are great plants, and so reasonably priced. He takes a lot of pride in healthy plants.
Do I sound like a salesman for Dave? Well, I have gotten plants from him and I know.
Thanks for the good word.. I do take pride in what I do. If I can't do it correctly then i don't want to do it at all
Dave sent me a Hosta a couple of years ago and it is absolutely beautiful I adore it and would love to have more, but as always, my space is limited. I will go check out the Market Place.
