Like the shelf and chair! Very nice. I had an ugly gold shelf of Moms. I sprayed over it with a deep blue...then ruffed it up with sand paper so that the gold showed thru! I was having a yard sale and some lady offered me $25 for it....I had used it on my porch decor. SO, I sold it....and soon regretted it!

Hey Everyone!

Well, Tubby had a small hamburger patty and slice of onion for supper. That's good for him. He is having a decent day today so that makes me feel better. We are to get some moisture tomorrow, but only rain and dry the rest of the weekend.

Betty have a safe and wonderful trip this weekend, I'll be thinking of you. Please drive careful and give Debbie a HUG from all of us and Debbie give Betty a HUG from us also. I know that you will have a great time and we'll all be sitting at home wishing we were there also. Betty I wear glasses and I probably wear more black and white then anything. I keep thinking of that slimming effect, but an old customer of mine said that her Father always said " You can paint a barn black, but it's still a barn". LOL I think of her whenever I put my black on.

Mud Elf that chair and box are darling. It wouldn't take much to lay the seat down on a piece of material of your choice and cut around it big enough to fold over the edges and staple to the seat. Then you have a new seat. See, now wasn't that easy? I'd love to do it for you if I was closer. If you want more cushion then cut a piece of foam and then cut the material so it is big enough.

Crissy I hope your Mom gets some relief soon and that they can figure out whats going on. Do you think she favored the other leg and her back soo much that it made this one sore?

It was a good day at work. I talked to Tubby's Infectious Disease Dr. today and told her what is going on and she said that we can stop the antibiotic anytime he wants. She doesn't want to put him though any more than is necessary. She is a dear also. We really are blessed that we have such wonderful Dr.s taking care of him and that I can talk to and know they are being honest.

Well, I think I'll go sit by Tubby and watch a little TV before it's bed time. I think I'll be ready for a good nights sleep.

Debbie, just finished packing up the boxes...all the wood is in 2 big plastic bins, 2 boxes of books hmmm if they ask me why I'm taking it all across border I'll just tell them I didn't take it out of my car yet..doubt they'll be concerned, that being said, watch if they don't go snooping..lol

ROFL, Betty, I will bring a couple totes to transfer it into so you can take your back with you.

Nawww I don't think so Shirley. Her left leg went numb when she came out of surgery she had done in Santa Monica, she's going after that dr as I don't think he's even licensed after watching 60 Minutes last weekend. She broke her foot because her leg wasn't working right, exactly where Debbie broke her foot, and because of that she found this surgeon who did numerous tests on her back and discovered that's where the pain is coming from. She had the L5/S1 vertebrae fused. She said that she came out of surgery with her left leg back to normal, like the doc said it would, but now her right leg feels like severe muscle spasms that aren't that because muscle relaxers don't work. I'm worried sick and there's not a darn thing I can do about it.

Betty be careful out there, and HUGS Debbie!!

What's funny about the tree is him and Steven had taken down about 15 others, not that big of course but they were still 30+ years old, he said that big one came down the easiest out of all of them.

It's overcast outside today. I know there's a chance of rain. Tubby sleeping right now, will see how he feels about going in for dialysis in an hr. If says okay we'll go and if not we'll stay home. I had a gal come out this morning for a haircut and she is gone. I am gonna clean the family room and set up a table to cut the ticking for the pillows I'm replacing for my brother. I'll be glad when I'm done.

Not much to talk about this morning so will check back in later today. Have a wonderful day to all and take it easy.

Morning Shirley, guess the hospital understands when Tubby is not up to going for chemo! Is there a particular date you have to have the cushions done.. We have a hairdresser in the area that does home appointments. Listened to the weather and I believe rain will start later in the afternoon and we'll have it all weekend..that will be okay, will wash all the snow away..doubtful..lol

Morning Shirley. Tell Tubby, that I have started some of his red hibiscus seeds, and I have 3 about an inch tall so far. Looking forward to seeing them bloom.

Betty, how many totes should I bring to transfer the wood and books into?

My little ferret, Kitty, passed away this morning. My house seems so empty without my little creatures.

Debbie, sorry to hear of his passing!!! I have 2 totes but you can always bring them back to me another time and 2 boxes of books..should something unexpected hapen that I will e-mail you or if you are unable to come for any reason I'll have the ipad and we can keep in contact..just check before leaving the house..I don't expect anything to happen but Darlene sometimes is unable to get out of bed, this is her first trip away from the house in 10 years..imagine that!

I know it's not the same, but as time passes you will smile, at the thought of Kitty. It's been almost 2 years for Feathers and We have been smiling and talking about her, she was such a great bird.

Good afternoon everyone! I'm finally able to be back at my computer for a while. I had Sean here three days this week as it is school vacation and yesterday I had his friend as well. They were great but both wanted the computer at the same time so finally had one on mine and one on Norm's (with permission of course). I've been working on a quilt for a dear friend that is all blus and white.
It is coming along quite well.
Norm just came in for lunch - will talk later.
