The snows so high he probably jumped over it

Just got home. It rained all day but tapered off to a mist while I was driving. I've been home about a half hour and the winds have started and it's snowing! Sideways. Big flakes! It's about 34 degrees.

Had a downpour and a thunderstorm now it's extremely windy

Flurrying here now. 34 and getting windy.

I am prepared. I do expect the power to go out. Enuff to eat for 2 days without cooking, just heating up and that is not a prob.

For a while I thought we were going to have a blizzard, but it has calmed down and very little accumulation has happened. Now we're having flurries too.

We got at least a foot of snow, nasty drive in to work this morning, the drive home, the sun was out and the roads were clear!

Its 17* and light snow.
Looking ahead there will be temps in the 50's with rain. That makes a mess but aides the thaw. Thats all I care about. Warming next week.

We got 10" of new snow yesterday, getting 1 - 2" tonight, and a couple of inches tomorrow followed by a wintry-mix for Monday. Enough!!!

I measured the snow on the chick table. It was 7" at 6PM last night.
SIL and DD were shoveling the driveway and then went to supper out.
Its too dark to photo the table.
I think we got about 8-10 inches. Ther are snow showers predicted for today but not more than 3 inch accumulation.
I am weary of all of it.

I was worried about the trees last night with the wet ground... all looks good behind the house... we are supposed to get light snow tonight and tomorrow...and another monsoon for monday.. 27 out now... going to 41

30 and sunny for now. We are warming this week with rain. That'll make a muddy mess!

Lots of icy patches this morning as I ran some errands.....1-3" tomorrow......like Jo, I'm very weary of it all!

It's 29 degrees right now. There is black ice everywhere out there. I wish melting would help, but I'm afraid it's just going to get worse. The freezing rain is now forecast for the Monday morning commute and new snow on Wednesday. The forecast changes every few hours at this point, so it's really a wait and see.

After a snowy morning that left 8 inches of snow in WNY yesterday, it is currently 16 degrees and sunny. A warm up with melting and rain starts tomorrow and goes into next week.

rained all day at work yesterday and i arrived home to 4" of wet snow last night - supposed to have some more light snow over the weekend - not going to bother to clear the driveway and will hope for some warm weather

about an inch of fluffy snow last night. turkey tracks on the driveway this morning. 28° & partly cloudy now.

We're at our high for today at 38°, staying partly sunny for the rest of today. Tonight we're getting some rain, then snow as the temps drop to 30°. The snow will continue into tomorrow am. No significant accumulations expected.

Think our snow has been downgraded to flurries.....yay!

perfect day today - just enough new snow on the x-country trails to cover everything that had fallen last week with the wind - could just sail along through the woods. then came home and started building a few bird houses just outside the garage with no need for gloves.

looking forward to skiing with the snow coming down tomorrow morning!

It was a nice day overall. The black ice melted and the wind died down and the sun came out for a while. Mid thirties was the highest temperature. I can see my crocuses again.

got up to 45, then we had flurries late in the day.

Wha, watch out for those trees, I hear they jump out at skiers!

All the snow in the yard is gone, was able to get out the last 2 candy canes out of whiskey barrel

34 now going to 49 snow showers tonight.. monsoon still on for tomorrow

snowed a couple inches last night.
Due to be warm today with rain tonight and Monday. That should take some of it away.

It's 32 and we had 2 inches or so of wet snow. Yesterday we could see grass everywhere and this morning grass and trees are covered. If we get above freezing it should go away I think. There's a nasty system in the Midwest today that's coming for tomorrow though. Don't really know what to expect from that other than winds again. Probably a mix and at commuter time tomorrow. Ugh, will this never end?

Its been my experience that when you think you cant stand another day of winter, spring comes.
My depression level says its due in a week.

I'll try to last that long but I don't know.
