I am coming up to Boston tomorrow and Sat to work in the pottery studio, so I guess I should bring my wellies. At least it is not snow.

Pretty day here. Sunny and 40 with no wind. I need to get outside and enjoy it. I got a good dose of Poison Ivy last week when I was out on a similar day planting bulbs and cleaning up downed debris in the woods. I wasn't wearing gloves. Dumb. I will wear some today. Patti

Good morning.

Currently 30 degrees heading to 38 with some light snow in WNY. The weather forecasters are saying it will turn to rain as the temps rise, then turn back to snow as the temps fall.

We are probably moving my dad from the nursing home to an assisted living facility today. That is a two hour trip each way. Fortunately we have a vehicle (Dodge Caravan) that handles very well in all weather.

We have another storm coming tonight into tomorrow. If it tracks right it will be snow and not wintery mix.

An inch of rain predicted for tomorrow. The snow is melting next to the house do the peony positions in front will be uncovered soon. they lasted about 25 years in Wisconsin so should be all right. We can almost see to back out of the driveway. DH probably can as he is taller than I.

Weather advisery yesterday said 6-10 inches of snow for last night.
It didnt happen. Today will be windy and snowy.I dont believe it.

Good morning. It's raining and when the dog went out I could see that it's wearing away the snow. We're supposed to get up to 2 inches and it might turn to snow in the afternoon. Yesterday there was some sleet mixed in. High winds are also forecast. I'm sorry for you up north that are getting the snow. Several more inches they say. We are having a flood watch because of the rain and snow melt. We'll see. Sure would like to see the curbs and lawns. Wonder what my crocuses are doing under there?

41°, wind from the Southeast at 8 mph, and it's dark & with heavy rain on this Friday morning.

Allison makes a good point, heavy rain with high winds and melting snow not a good combo, but that's exactly what we're getting today. We'll be going up to 48° today with the rain finally tapering off about 3-4pm this afternoon. - That's when the high winds start, we're expecting 20-30mph sustained, gusting to 50-60 mph, with localized gusts possible in excess of 60 mph. Flooding, downed trees & power lines are par for the course today over here.. going down to 22° tonight.

Rain and in the 40's. Wind hasn't picked up yet so I am off to the airport.

DH was coming too to go to Symphony , but cancelled as he was planning on flying home tonight, but that will be a no go with the wind expected. He doesn't want to get stuck in Hyannis, nor would the dogs be happy to be abandoned over night. I am staying in Boston until tomorrow night doing my pottery, so I hope the wind has abated by then.

Next week is my big chainsaw week as my best buddy from Brooklyn is coming to cut down dead trees and to help me build stairs going up a steep spot in the woods....we shall see if my hair brained notion will work. He is taking the bus into Boston tomorrow so we can drive back to the Cape together and get the Ferry or a plane. Patti

It's 36 & pouring rain!..I found Mr. Robin in the front yard last night which means a hole in the fence someplace....I have to find it, so I'll be getting drenched for sure!

We got 8" of wet snow. it's still snowing, but they say it's will stop by 4pm. We'll see.

The rain has stopped...just cloudy....went to find the break in the fence, & was surprised the snow is still 2' deep in the back ....never found the hole, don't know how the dog escaped!
