Coffee Break #54 Light at the end of the tunnel?

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Too funny, frankenstein mice...very creepy!

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

My whole family is laughing, Jo Ann. Just picturing that frozen mouse running away.

Marilyn, I remember one year I was trying to grow seedlings in the basement, and the top leaves kept going away. I just could not imagine what was going on. A mouse, obviously.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I hope the neighborhood Hawk finds it.

Mice - agrhhh what house dont have them at some point? OK the electronic but you had them at one time.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cats are falling down on the job!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

freezing a mouse?? drop the trap in a container of water.

Light at the end of the tunnel - well the mud is starting and I dont like it. I rather have mice.

South Hamilton, MA

Snow still 17" in front, probably more in back. Hope frozen mouse didn't change atmosphere in the freezer. We had the basement resealed last summer because of flooding. No mice appeared this winter (so far) so sealing must have taken care of the hole where they entered.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

still lots of snow here too

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Seems my steady progress with my knee has hit a bump. The last few days I have had pain. There are two lumps - on either side of my cap. They are causing pain and a lot of stiffness. My wife says it's scar tissue and needs to be massaged. I told her I assumed it was my wife's responsibility to massage my two lumps. Still waiting...

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

lol

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Victor!!!

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Too funny!!!! Have your wife (or you) hold a tennis ball and massage the area with the ball. Easier on hand and not as painful on the knee. After my spinal fusion my hubby did it to my back, works wonders!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

you are too funny Victor.. and feel better

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Oh, boy...!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

OMG!! LOL! I do hope you feel better Victor, I remember massaging my husbands knee after his replacement for months.

Thomaston, CT

Sorry about the pain, Victor.....would rehab help?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Sorry Victor.....but be nice to Mrs.!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, all! Now she says it may be bursitis. I wanted to know if I could sue the surgeon but he's her friend. She'd probably testify for him!

Thomaston, CT

Hang in there, Victor! Warm weather will really help!

Lots of warmth

South Hamilton, MA

yes, but when?

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

Snow flakes!!!!!

Thomaston, CT

Where's Bill? Hope he didn't overdo the skiing!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Finally installed the new Grohe kitchen faucet. Very nice! The instructions were a horror but we got it done. I will try to get a pic.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

cool

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

It's making the rest of the kitchen look bad!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Rut-roh, Shaggy! Remodel in the future?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

guess with all this rain... I won't be grilling for Randy's birthday dinner

:(

Remodling? 10 weeks and the bathroom still aint done

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

wow that is a long time Sherrie

Tell me about it - grrrr

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

hi marilyn

Thomaston, CT

Hi Bill....glad to see you're still among us! I hate remodeling....it always takes longer, & like Victor said, it makes the rest of the house look like it needs help! Hope Randy has a great Bday, despite no grilling....it's better than the snow!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

There's an easy solution to all this, just tear down the house and re-build it with the faucet in mind next time.

Thomaston, CT

I'd love to rebuild....now that I've lived in the house 35 years, I know what I want!

Radiant Heat!

Naugatuck, CT(Zone 5a)

An attached green house!

East Bridgewater, MA

Another vote for radiant floor heat.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Definitly an attached green house!!!
