Can't come soon enough for me!
hope you are up and around soon ronnie
Sounds like the surgery went well, Ronnie....hugs!
Thanks for the well wishes everyone♥ Slow but sure!
we missed you Ronnie... glad you are on the high road
This is why this flu is nothing to mess with!!
http://www.pressherald.com/news/Mother-of-recruit-who-died-says-he-had-flu-.html#
It's always so sad to lose someone to the flu and yet look at how many adults simply won't get a flu shot to protect themselves.
The flu has always been deadly, pneumonia too in this cold weather, - gotta take care of yourself..
It amazes me how so many people can walk around without a hat or the proper clothing in cold weather. If the Eskimos dressed the same way there would be no Eskimos!
DH got the flu and the fluid stayed in his lungs so now he has pneumonia. He has been doing breathing treatments every 4 hours since returning from the E.R. the other night. :(
Hope Brian is feeling better!!!
Oh man that's bad, those diseases exhaust a person. Hope he gets better soon, -wishing him the best! ☺
Hope he's feeling better, Celeste.
Thanks all, he's doing better now but he really pushed himself this time. I Really wanted to box his ears for being so stubborn!
Glad your husband is feeling better Celeste. I was so afraid of getting sick after my surgery. Everyone I've known has had either the stomach virus or the flu. My youngest GD was in the hospital when she had the stomach bug, she was so dehydrated.
Can empathize with that! Hope Brian is feeling more chipper today!
Oh boy - hope Brian is better soon. Being a smoker makes it a lot worse.
Did y'all see the earthquake damage in New Zealand?
Yes - pretty bad. And they had one recently.
Having worked Katrina, Gustav and Ike, I can tell you how awful it is there. Going to say a prayer..
Ronnie - glad you are back and on the mend. Wishing you a very speedy recovery!
Celeste - please tell Brian that we are wishing him well and hoping he is feeling better and stronger soon! You guys sure have been hit hard! Take good care and stay well!!
Horrible about those murdered Americans. Hard to believe we are actually dealing with (and tolerating) pirates this day and age.
Been preaching against frequent cell phone use (without a hands-free) for years.

Hugs for everyone!
Wow, looks like a stereo system with sound waves!
Hug waves. Needed by all.
Thanks Harper!
I stubbed my toe today, Harp. Hug?? ^_^
and kisses
Of course.
.. along with a good kick in the pants. (lol!!)
I'd be willing to stub my toe for it to be kissed
Too costly for me, I'd have to insure it with Lloyd's of London first... lol!
very tempting to respond deb :)
We have mice. It drives Cal nuts because he can smell them. I bought 2 traps last fall. The cats heve left 3 deadones in the basement since September.
The trap was moved to under the sink and it caught another one last night. I said"Toss it onto the driveway and the crows will eat it"
They had put the whole trap amd mouse into Cals beer freezer in the fridge.
I made the mistake of buying live traps. I am going to toss the frozen mouse now.
NOOOOOOOT I opened the trap and the mouse jumped out and ran to the neighors.
How could something that small not be frozen in a few hours?
I'm still laughing, Jo, but I wouldn't be if it happened to me! The electronic plug-ins are working for me....no mice, the plants in my cellar have no little mouse munchings on them.....
OM G Marilyn I was so stunned.Polly said it must have gone into hybernation.
I guess they can do that! That's why they can survive harsh conditions, but they don't like the electronic plug-ins!
