i got 15 jars of tomato juice done, after everything went wrong during the process LOL :) uhg.
got a screw up tree order , hopefully fixed. customers get a refund or a replacement tree. i hope they take the replacement !

chickens feed and watered
made calls
and i think i may sit down for awhile LOL

Been a blah day for me. It's a comfy 60s but body just want to veg so I caught up with reading. Now and then got distracted by FB!!
Brother, a sister and her daughter are visiting another sister in Dubai. Photos pasted on their pages, and I wish I'm joining them :(
Sad thought that Dubai is 'steel and glass' everywhere, but it has top quality food---sans pork of course!

Tonight, it's off to get groceries. Meat sales start on Tuesdays. Not buying steaks nor beef roasts help a lot with the budget. I'm still on white meat, fish and veges diet, and if Kel wants his red meat, he gets it in meat loafs and burgers.

Neener, if you're lurking.. since I've avoided red meat, I found my complexion's not so 'blotchy' anymore, and less migraines.

Your DH would be given big bucks if the princes were to hire him! My sister's DH is contracted by the princes to teach at their naval academy, that's why they're there.

LK, I cook almost the same, no drastic changes except for red meat.
But I also avoid 'junk' food. Maybe that's what help my complexion!!! Or perhaps Kel has been much more kinder lately? Lol!!

Temps dropped to the 30's. House heater just broke down :(

Hello everyone , miss you all, i worked all day had to go wash clothes at laundromat he's working on pipes be another 2 days get all rest fixed 1/2 done. then vacuumed , leaned bird cage , cleaned up rest best i can..my back , legs hurt so much get very little sleep so bad i would like to cry.

Susan, I just googled that, and you are right, diabetics are advised on the same dietary plan and also to avoid starch foods like potatoes.

Twyla I am so sorry you're in so much pain!!

I spoke to my mom last night (she just had back surgery on Monday to hopefully relieve her pain, or at least some of her pain) and she's in a lot of pain from the surgery, which is to be expected since the dr told her he beat her up, but she's been running a 102* temp ever since surgery. They have her on IV antibiotics and she says she feels fine, but she's all morphined up and I'm very worried about that fever.

LK, the heater's working again. Some loose wiring that Kel fixed this morning. Now why didn't he check for that when it quit working all of a sudden.. oh well.. guess his abnormally warm body doesn't require any heating!

Crissy, anyone taking too much iron will make them very... ummm, backed up! Ask anyone that has been pregnant and had to take iron pills. Your going to need a laxative to go with it!

Crissy, I tend to agree with LK.
When I could.. I'd constipate :( But not anymore.. so I think the iron has a lot to do with my 'constitution'!!
Moreover, I used to do steaks like twice a week.. medium rare at that.. and more beef was used than any other meat for other dishes :(

Little did he know that it will be grilled pork chops tonight for supper!!!

I broke all the rules for lunch and had lasagna. OOPS!!!

Crissy, was it a Lean Cuisine lasagna? If it is, the proportion won't make you sleepy!!

had lunch with inlaws. they did my salad all wrong sent it back , ordered the spinach. full of bacon and nuts eww.it was the healthy alternative but with bacon it sure wern't ?

got some Greek yogurt, yum its good. i got plain , added my sugar free jam, and some honey , very filling. and 1 cup of veggie soup.

LOL No it wasn't a Lean Cuisine, it was from the cafeteria downstairs. Jaye I was overweight when I saw you, I have dropped 20 lbs and when I start wearing out my newest used clothes I'll drop another 20 lbs, then I'll be happy. I get compliments all the time about how good I look now compared to what I did look like, I'm not satisfied though lol.

Glad your losing weight Crissy! Sure wish I could! Bad back, and knees keep me from exercising. Now my Dr, wants to do a hip replacement, but I told her no, I will continue getting the steroid shots as long as they work.

LK I have a bad knee and haven't exercised once, that malarkey of "you have to exercise to lose weight" is just not true. If you stop eating you will lose weight.

Lk the food was good at Chilli's it was the deco of the resturant, lol. Him being a SOUS Chef and have worked in some high class resturants, tends to be critical, lol. He told of his dream of opening a resturant. Sure wished we had the money to do it. There are so many Victorian houses up for sale around here that one of them would be the perfect resturant for Doug.

Anyhoooooo went to doc, got cast off, stiches out and fitted with a removeable splint. No driving for 3 weeks, no Curves for ?????????. Also picked up my new glasses. Man it sure is nice to be able to see good.

Can't spend alot of time typing hand gets to hurting. Haven't been able to play poker much

ummmm same thing. i have ordered it before in the past and it looked good. i don't know what they are thinking in Bob Evens. our just is going down hill fast !! its not a fancy place but when we have inlaws with us, its the only place they go. so i suffer in silence. LOL
