Figures, washer is broke and son throws up in our bed....
Went to HD and Lowe's and they don't have enough of varied selection
Have to go to 2 local appliance stores tomorrow
Coffee Break #53 Endless Winter
Ugh! At that point, I'd take any old washer!
Do any of the stores have a more experienced thrower-upper?
Thank you Allison, Pirl , Robin and Harper....that J.I. was the very 1st one I ever bought and still love it.
Glad your feeling better Robin!
Sorry about the washer Jen.
DH quit smoking again, it's been over 10 days since he quit. Of course this flu made him so sick it was easy. He finally went to the E.R. for some help...his breathing has not improved, got some antibiotics and they had to give him a breathing treatment...not once but twice!
Now most of you know DD is due for DGC # 6 but it's my 1st Grandson so im getting excited as it gets closer. Well she had an ultra sound and sona gram on Friday and they said she won't make it another month... Baby is in position, locked and ready to go. Her due date is March 23rd but they expect her to go before the 14th which is fine as this is a very large baby boy and her gestation diabetes is not helping out. So...this Sat. is her baby showers and I hope she makes it until then at least! LOL
Now for an update on Karen...
I had hoped i'd have better news by now but she's not making great progress and continues to be very confused. They have had to place her in a nursing home because her insurance only pays so much for so long and you are expected to finish your therapy during that time. She did not make the strides they thought she should of by now so they refused further/extended treatment. Also her family works during the day and she can not stay alone so they had to put her there for now. She did get her skull put back together...it was a smooth procedure and she bounced right back from that w/out incident thanks goodness. She still has a long road and may never be the same again but they are thankful to have her anyways they can and will learn to live with this new version of Karen.

Oh-mi-gosh !!!
So much on your "Plate of Life" with Karen, and the next generation.
Wishing you, and your family, all the best.
wow Celeste .. never a dull moment is continuing for you ... hope all is well with everyone!!! {{{{{Celeste}}}}}}
Sorry to hear about your friend, Karen, Celeste.
Not so little baby boy will soon be entering the world! I'm happy for you and DD.
Wow, bet you can't wait for that little guy! Sorry about Karen.....strokes are all so different....my brother's 104 MIL had a small stroke last week, but she's doing better....she's able to move her left arm on her own, so the hospital is thinking about releasing her to a rehab in a couple of days....she's an amazing woman.....I'm so glad Brian is doing better.....flu is scary, & I'll never take it lightly again!

Very sorry to hear that, Celeste. However, I am really not surprised. When you first posted about the secondary bleed I knew that would be real bad, but did not want to say. Hopefully, there can still be some meaningful recovery. It's so hard.
I didn't know Brian had gone back to smoking! Make sure he stays with it this time.
Tell Brian not worth dragging around an oxygen tank.
Hopefully Karen continues to improve.
Congrats on the soon to be grandson...the baby boy clothes are REALLY cute until they hit toddler size then it's pretty boring...girls are so much more fun to dress!
Boys are tons of fun when they select their own daily outfits from the closet - many an odd combination! My son learned...eventually.
Just wanted to stop in and say hi! I had my disk surgery on the 9th and sitting at the computer was very limited. I missed so much and will try to catch up now that I can sit for longer periods. Even in the lounge chair the laptop was just so uncomfortable. Just keeping my fingers crossed my sciatica will be gone forever!
Sorry to read all the bad new Celeste but glad for your new grandboy coming soon.
Jen new washer just in time!
Marilyn so happy to read you are finally feeling better!
Hi Ronnie, glad to have you back! The surgery must of been scary but sounds like it was a success. Hope you weren't in to much pain :(
Ronnie - sounds like you made it through surgery with flying colors - hurray!
Glad you are able to sit for longer periods of time, Ronnie. Praying it did the trick and you are right as rain soon.
Praying for fast healing, Ronnie
Bought my new washer( Fisher & Paykel) got a HUGE discount because the manager noticed hubby's fire dept shirt

Glad to hear from you, Ronnie. Heal well!
Love that FP, Jen. Happy laundry days.
