One DG sistah had made me some snickerdoodles. I've always thought before that they're called snickerdoodles because they're made with snickers candy bars!!!

I don't know how my late mum managed with so many kids we're forced to stay indoors. Especially when we all start practising our music, as we all play different instruments, and never the same tune!!

My brother is up from Florida for a visit with Mom and Dad...mostly Mom. I made lunch (lasagna) and took it over with the trimmings. Then we had a good time going through some old papers and pictures. Bill was a little (okay...a lot) bored, but we only stayed for 3 hours!!!!

Started out sleeting today but turned to snow, so that was okay. The roads were fine. Folks were supposed to come here for lunch, but I didn't want my Mother trying to walk on the slippery driveway, so we just hauled it all over there. Better for us to fall if someone is going to, and neither of us did, so that's a GOOD thing!

Sissy...sorry I missed calling you on your BD...hope things are going ok, if ya know what I mean....Love you....

Sue, I think Bertie and I are going to do lunch and go to the new Menards down here sometime this coming week.....just in case you need to get out!

I can't keep my birds in food...they are surely greedy in all this cold weather and snow! Fun to watch though.

me and the kids do movie saturdays. and with Dh home it is not as fun as it could be. No one can agree on a movie and then we get stuck watching one we hate so what is the fun of that ? i ask you ? maybe we should try and find something else to do on saturday nights .

Jaye,Ryan Not liking chocolate ....I totally blame myself ! As a baby and toddler I would not give him chocolate,only vanilla....now here was my reason...LOL,I wore a lot of white and pastel outfits on him and didn't want to ruin them with chocolate stains....well by the time he could decide for himself and not make a mess he pointed out very clearly that he doesn't like chocolate,sweets too much for that matter.But if he wants a cake it has to be white,ice cream vanilla.....and so on. He doesn't even care for icing on his cake.He will actually pick out the chocolate chips of a cookie.....LOL.

I have a problem........LOL,there is an antique wicker baby carriage on ebay that I would love to have,but it is pick up only.It is located in Marysville ,Ohio which is 3 hours away.And with the crazy weather,me looking after momma during the week and Rick working all week I'm not sure how soon I'd be able to pick it up.Do any of you Ohio sisters live near there and would want or be able to pick it up and store until I could get to you ???????? If no I COMPLETELY understand !!!!!!!

sorry synda about an hr or two drive from my house its around columbus. the weather is bad here also for traveling.

Synda, I don't really care to much for chocolate either!! I do get a craving every once in a while for a bit of dark chocolate...If I buy one of those big dark hershey bars it lasts me months!!!

none of my boys care to much for it either, youngest always liked candy...mostly hard candies to suck on....now hubby he could sit here and eat the whole bar!! or a whole big bag of M & M's !!!

It is wicker and I'll put it on my porch and set plants in it.....LOL.Plus I collect dolls and like to display them. And the guy is only asking $14 and they usually go for anywhere $250 - $600.
I have an antique wooden highchair/potty chair,a moses basket..........etc.

Have BBQ ribs in the oven .....I think I'll make garlic butter and parsley potatoes to go with.

yepper that was a sad game to watch , all them fumbles ect... what went wrong with the Steelers ? i think they got cocky. Then the botched anthem ?? by Cristina Agulaira ? wow , that is a big " DUH" it was a bad way she sang it. IMHO. Dh was very upset by it.
dinner was pork chop in beans in the slow cooker with green beans on the side. LOL lots of beans in our house tonight. may need serperate beds LOL
