My ISP was totallty whacked yesterday. When I could get on, it was something like 4kbps!!! Of course, can't get any site running.
Just back to normal a few minutes ago.

Sue, raccoons are real smart. We have 2 that are living under the house. They eat the cat food and get on well with the cats outside.
I love watching the way they pick up their food with their paws.
But they do run off when they see me!

Seems like we're getting some weird weather. Hot one minute and freezing rain today.

Still snowing there LK? Only good thing about snow is it kills the fleas on the ground!!!

No snow here, but over in San Antonio, my Grandaughter told me she saw her first snow ever, and even made a snow angel! She had so much fun this morning in the snow!

anyone grow hollyhocks from seed ? i m trying it new this year. i didn't have time last year.
i know they take 2 yrs to flower ? but i may give them an fertilizer that will make them force bloom.
seed starting mix sure has gone up ! uhg. 23.99 a bag , last year was 17.99
hopefully we can get mulch at wholesale prices this year. that will save us so much money.
pruned some butterfly bush i had overwintering in GH . so far them ain't dead ! hooray.
lost a few tags on them but once i see the flower i will know what color they are. either black or pink LOL
trying to force out some hosta's too

LK does your car look blue sometimes? purple others?? My sister had a truck did that ! it was awesome.....If I did not like my truck so much, I would love to get a mustang.. dh would have a very hard time to get in and out tho. that is one reason we got a truck..

LOL........the one night I did sleep I had a shot of Patron (tequila) before I went to bed.......but that was the last one......NEED a new bottle !!!!!Rick bought me a small bottle for New Years Eve.Now I want the BIG bottle,and since we just got back our income tax money I think I'll make him do a run to the state store tomorrow.

Well I heard that we are to get snow for the next 4 days and turn totally frigid..........like a high of 10.

Jaye I love those shows, Gold Rush only has 2 episodes left in the season, it is good, but those idiots make me mad every time I watch it. No one wants to take advice from experienced miners, all they want to do is having meetings, and run both tractors when they don't need to. Oh and bring their families up there when that is not a place for families, what a huge waste of money. They've wasted more money and time than they've used. I love the show though! LOL The cooking shows are great! we watched Kitchen Nightmares last night too and Gordon Ramsay was helping these restaurant owners with their steakhouse, but the chef couldn't cook at steak, or a hamburger! Nor could he heat veggies, nor anything else but brag brag brag he would do. He ended up getting fired.

Oh Yeah margarita madness! LOL LOL LOL LOL You know, I kinda have poor man's taste, I like 1800 Gold the best. I don't like silver tequila at all.

We got snow yesterday so I stayed home and watched it fall. The internet went out because of it so Dave had to go move the snow off of the satellite yesterday evening. We got some freezing rain too.

And I wholeheartedly agree with your opinion on the Gold Rush. That's what I told Kel last week when those retards refused to listen to an experience miner. I used to watch Kitchen Nightmares, but can't tolerate all the cussings. Even his cooking competitions (Hell's Kitchen). But Kel continues to watch his shows and find the bleeped cussings amusing :(

LK, it's called Magic Mirrors put out by Marti Mitchell. It's not a trifold.. made a mistake there but a bi-fold. (Still has the mirror in it's plastic bag!)
Stand it upright on the chosen fabric (the busier the better) and you can see the effects and hence help decide what your block should look for your Stack and Whack. Wish I had this when I did my Stack and Whack.

We were both stupid and downed as many shots as we can to see which one of us would fall off our barstool!! (Coke chaser then)
Neither one of us fall off.. but we literally were 'stoned' in our seats!!! Had to be helped getting down by our equally stupid dates as well!! Lol!!

Don't you have some fabrics that are so fussy that you don't know what to do with it? Stack and Whack will be ideal. But then make sure you have a lot of that fabric, as you'll need many repeats.

Oh Sue... on second thoughts, that might be a bad idea. You're not ready for a new house :D

Sue how about some peanut butter cookies! They always go over good here. Maybe some snickerdoodles?

Snickerdoodle cookies
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Cream together butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, the eggs and the vanilla. Blend in the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded spoonfuls into balls.
Mix the 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls of dough in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until set but not too hard. Remove immediately from baking sheets.
