Catch up time!!! I turned 67 Thursday, the 20th. Having a hard time dealing with it. Realizing the lose of speed, dexterity, strength. Trying to get rid of a severe cold, cough, achy muscles. I do hae you cheery folks to keep me going though. Can't wait for winter to be over to get back out in the gardens. Made two seed orders and one plant order so far (all on line). Onlly got a dusting out of the storm last night!
Coffee Break #52 - JETS!!!
cheer up Frank 67 is not that old.
Not to worry, Frank. My dad is 83 and is in terrific shape. Not exaggerating one bit when I say most people think he is still in his 60's. Still works out at the Y three times a week. Has to take two subways to get there too!
And Happy Birthday, Frank!
Thanks guys!
I turned 67 years ago and I agree with you Frank.
Not that I want to wallow in the negative but thats exactly when I realized what ached wasnt going away.
I am a heavy user of Ibprophen when I garden. It helps to take a few before you step out to do the heavy stuff.
I dont like whats happened to my ballance either.
I realized that ache wasn't going away the morning after the wedding. ^_^
LOL
OMG Its been so long
Also, the morning after the WEEDING!
Cute, Allison...haven't tried that feature yet.
Happy b-day Frank
might have to mess with that more for halloween...
Happy Belated Frank!!!!
Cheer up Frank....you're still having birthdays! And gardening, the most important part of living! JoAnne uses picassa, she could play with Ben & Jerry.
Thomas Jefferson said, 'Though an old man, I am but a young gardener.' Of course he died the next day. (Just kidding! ^_^)

Smart man,TJ.....
I am always grinning when I am here on the NE forum.
Happy Birthday, Frank.
Happy Birthday, Frank! I'm heading in your direction age-wise, so I'm counting on hearing you tell me that you were wrong and 67 is truly the new 47!....please???
47 wasn't so great for me, Louise!
Do cannibals say grace??
Is this a "need to know"? Considering a new life style?
Just popped into my mind while driving today.
Never said I was normal! ^_^
Believer Cannibals likely said grace before or after they devoured her.
Her??
Grace.
Kelly??
No....Grace, the Entree
Cool pic on picasa, Allison! I would love to try that.
All this talk about getting old....I'll be turning 48 this year. I keep thinking it's only 2 more years after that and I'll be over the hill!
Louise, I have not read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, but it sounds intriguing, and I've been wanting to read it. Right now I'm reading From The Corner Of His Eye by Dean Koontz. Not one of his best, but quite good. Also reading House Rules by Jodie Picoult. I really great read about an 18-year-old boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Excellent!
Happy Birthday, Frank!
I don't know if cannibals say grace. How about zombies?
Karen
Just turned 48, Karen. Water's fine.
Happy birthday, Frank.
Cannibal mealtime makes me wonder what rituals they really had. Are they an organized society?
'Got a stomach ache.'
'Could be someone you ate.'
I do thank everyone for their b-day wishes. It's awfully nice to have friends like you. I think the 40's were my best times. After 50 eveything started going south. Although Robindog has the right idea. I'm still breathing. I'm on neproxin once a day for RA so that gets me thru the gardening chores, etc. Wonder if cannibals got mad cow disease!
They werent dairymen or cattle herders as I recall.
GF's parents ran a meat store. They both died of it.
Wonder if there were any parts off-limits. Ewww!
I doubt that cannibals are an organized society.
The current leader always "disappears" right before a Big Feast Day!
Didnt he go back to Haitie?
Not in one piece...
EEEEEUUUUUUUU.
This may be the weirdest discussion ever! On a happier note, it's not snowing....at least, not yet....flurries are predicted....I was trying to knock off some of the icicles with a mop handle, didn't see the window casement, whammo....split my lip open, blood everywhere....and this before breakfast.....
How awful.
